Adobe adds ons.

Today, I downloaded an update of Adobe and attached to it was a MacKeeper program as well as a kind of cloud storage. I'm not one of them, and it is almost impossible to remove. Thought they were gone, but continued to receive sporadic popups telling me that I have corrupted files. I contacted Apple support and get a call from them in the AM. as a reputable company known as Adobe would charge their updates, for lack of a better word, spam. It's almost like a virus.

The problem: "an unexpected error occurred while trying to verify this extension."

What I have: CS6 and Design and Web on Mac OS X 10.8.5. with Extension Manager CS6 6.0.8.28 (German)

    What I want: Install ToolkitforCreateJS_1_0_3.zxp and AnimatedSVGExporter_3_46_0.zxp

    What I did:

Although the error, I was able to install the Add-ons in following one of your son:

    -Rename ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db a.../opm.db.bak

-After that EM asked me my AdobeID and rebuilt the opm.db and I could install the Add-ons wanted

-Unfortunately my InDesign modules went wrong (had a lot of exclamation in EM on Adobe standard modules)

-I could not (re) activate these marked modules InDesign, InDesign lacked important elements of user interface, etc. and crashed constantly

-the only solution was to reinstall InDesign and update all apps-> pu CS6 (re) activate the modules-> exclamation marks were gone-> InDesign stable again

-J' retried install zxp files, but once again no chance to install with the unexpected error mentioned.

-A few years ago I was able to install modules without problems. Today, I'm not able to install any add-on I've tried

Update: my problem is solved! Him "an unexpected error occurred while trying to verify this extension." gone if you install modules through CS6 Adobe Extension Manager.

How I got rid of the error message:

I had an alias "Adobe Application Manager" in my Applications folder that pointed to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core/Adobe Application Manager.app. The CFBundleVersion string in the info.plist file was 9.0.0.141. I have no idea when or why it was installed on my system. Starting this "Adobe Application by" lead to an update to a newer version 10.0.0.49. Subsequently, an application of bar menu pop up, asking to log in with my Adobe I identification code creative cloud have does NOT connect me, because I have not even a creative cloud subscription, but leave the menu bar app by pressing "quit" in the gear icon. Then I gave another chance, extensions Manager. After selecting an add-on from the Adobe Exchange website to install in the extensions Manager, the "Adobe Application Manager" has popped up, asking me my Adobe Funnily enough identification code, by default has been my second ID (old) Adobe, I replaced my updated Adobe ID and password.

A few seconds later Extension Manager installed the add-on without any error and hassle with my standard modules to InDesign.

As a side effect, I had a new folder "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud" with approximately 330 MB of stuff I really don't seem to need. Fortunately, I found an uninstall program in "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe CreativeCloud/Utils/Uninstaller.app CC" who removed the "useless stuff" with no negative side effects known to feature my CS6 or the Adobe Extension Manager CS6. Thank you to everyone who was willing to help, take the time to read this thread. I'll mark this as a good answer to people digging in the same problem!

  • The Add Ons can be used on a team membership?

I am a Professor of digital media with a computer lab that uses Adobe CC Team. I can't add ons to load either and I wonder if it's because I have the subscription of the team. I downloaded the zxp Installer, but I don't know what to do from there. I can't find where the Add ons are stored on my computer (if they are, which I doubt.)

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey guys,.

Help, I'm on deadline and I made recently a clean install to my computer and you need a plug-in for a piece of Gallery, I'm working on and need to the middle of the week.
I just can't get anything to install and synchronize. Help!

    Hi ColeBen,

You have the great Adobe Cloud Plugin bug. It's a pain, but it is treatable.

Best approach if you're in a pinch is to download ZXPInstaller, install it and run it. It should open in a window with a field of drop in the middle.

Once you have that you can download the Plugin from his alternative installation page - see this topic for more details:

Another way to install add-ons (updated)

This should provide you with a .zxp file. You can drag the file .zxp to ZXPInstaller and it will be installed.

After installation, restart your Photoshop/InDesign/Whatever and you should find it there is

  • How to use the Add-ons that were previously purchased elsewhere?

In view of the recent changes with CC 2015 and gradually extensions Manager... How to install and use extensions add-ons that were previously purchased directly by the developer of the extension?

I use a large number of both DWZone and DMXzone extensions, and most of these purchases have been made well before Adobe even got Add-ons or even the creative cloud. DMXzone created their own extension manager, so there is no worry there on how to use these extensions that I bought. However, DWzone extensions have always been installed and managed by Adobe Extension Manager. Now that's possible is no longer in 2015 CC of Dreamweaver, the only way to use the DWzone extensions is to buy through Adobe modules. It would not be a problem if I didn't already bought already - directly to the developer. It would seem that the only way that I can use extensions Dwzone through Add-ons (the recommended way to Adobe) is to pay for them everywhere, and will simply not happen.

To my knowledge, DMXzone is the only extension developer who has provided a way to manage extensions outside of Adobe applications, so this problem might be a big problem with many users who have purchased various Directors extensions in the past.

Is this something that extension developers should be outside or y at - it something that Adobe is made to help fill this gap? Otherwise, I'm stuck with older versions of Dreamweaver because of the extensions I use.

    Hi Steve,.

Just to be clear, is the extension of the DMX Zone Manager works with other extensions, including our (project seven). It is a good solution, until we develop our own.

  • My Add ons are not appearing in Photoshop CC 2014. However, according to the extensions Manager, they are activated.

You are looking in the menu appropriate within the PS? Not all add-ons are in the same menu. Please read the section where to Find It for more information.

  • Add-ons appear not

So I downloaded a few Add ons by using creative cloud office.  I don't see them in Dreanweaver - Dreamweaver specific addons.

    Hello

Please launch Adobe Extension Manager and check if they are installed or not appearing.

If the add ons make their appearance then try following:

    • Close Dreamweaver and Extension Manager > out of the clouds creative and sign on the back connect, disconnect | Creative Office Cloud app
    • Run Dremaweaver and check if it works.
    • If the problem persists > go to the extension manager and remove the extensions (make sure DW is closed)
    • Once uninstalled go to addons page and install the zpx of each page of the extension file.
    • you just need to click on "where to go" > "download/install your extension in other words" > "Download using the extensions Manager" > click on blue "extension to download button" to download the file.
    • Once you have the zpx file open with the extension manager and install it.
    • Now, launch DW and you should be able to find the extension menu as stated in the product descriptions.

  • Why do version 17.0.0.169 appears in IE11 8.1 64-bit manage add-ons?

KB3044132 watch installed to update Flash Player, and the icon of the control panel Flash Player 32 bits watch 17.0.0.169 installed (I have 64-bit and 32-bit), but the management of Add-ons for Shockwave is enabled and display version 17.0.0.134! When I check the version using Adobe it only shows 17.0.0 and not the important part, so I can't say if Adobe detects the 17.0.0.169 or 17.0.0.134! I think I need to know if IE11 64-bit has 17.0.0.169 also. Please notify technical support Microsoft said to contact Adobe about this. Please remove my entry in Adobe, discussion forums general General bridge as michaelh94875078. I don't see Flash Player on the list of communities provided in my first post.

    Hello

Ko the number you posted KB3044132 is the March month Flash Player update which was 17.0.0.134. Please see Microsoft Security Advisory: update to fix vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer: March 10, 2015

Last week we released 17.0.0.169 then you will need to perform your update of windows again to get the latest version of flash player for your IE.

Also, to the point 8.1 of Windows the icon of Flash player (32-bit) in the display panel as the NPAPI (for firefox) version and version PPAPI (for the browser based on chromium) but not the Activex version (used in IE) If you can't take reference of the version from there for your IE.

If you have a problem updating your Flash Player for IE, I think that Mircosoft forum would be the right place for you to say the exact number of KB for the update you need to install.

  • Add - ons in the cc extensions handler incorrectly stated in Photoshop cc 2014

I started with Photoshop cc and downloaded several add-ons that I have used, including Adobe watermark. When Photoshop cc 2014 was released, we realized that most of these modules would not work in this new edition of Photoshop. Therefore, I must also run Photoshop cc as well for allowing me to use these modules.

If I open Adobe Extension Manager, select under products I see a list of all the Add-ons that work in Photoshop cc, which is correct. However, if I select Photoshop cc 2014 I see a long list (16 modules) that have helped tick next to the name. Only 5 of these show done in Photoshop cc 2014, if something's wrong here.

I guess Adobe watermark is an Adobe product, so when Adobe will sort this out and the problem to Adobe Extension Manager?

On the screenshots you sent, we can see that not all of these elements that are installed in the extensions-> Photoshop CC 2014 Manager are accessible from the window-> Extensions menu in Photoshop. Some of them are Actions for example such as those of Panos and canvas Wrap is accessible from the file-> Scripts menu.

Edge FX, it is not compatible with CC2014, but there is a new Edge FX Pro version that supports CC 2014, available here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/products/3189#.VEeJ--eSlS0.

Adobe watermark and watercolor Wizard only CS6 and CC compatibility, so it is likely that you had most of these extensions installed for a long time before their compatibility criteria has been updated a few months back after the launch of CC2014. The best solution for storing things upwards can to uninstall all your extensions in the extensions Manager, then log on to the site of the Addons and click on "My-Add-ons", then download again products that will ensure that you receive the latest versions and only the CC compatible 2014. In this page, you will also see a glance 'where to find' the information to access all extensions within Photoshop.

Russell Brown and his in-house team who put together the Photoshop extensions work on CC 2014 compatible updates to Adobe extensions you have, so we hope to see an update for them in the near future. If you want to use them all at the hour before they are updated to support CC2014, you can use them with Photoshop CC (or CS6). It is possible to have multiple versions of Photoshop installed on your computer, and you are a CC member, all previous versions are available. You simply use the CC desktop app to install earlier versions of Photoshop. To do this, launch the CC desktop application and click the "APPS" tab, then do scroll down until you see "filters & Versions". Select this option, then choose 'previous Version '.

Hope this helps, but please get back in touch if you have any additional questions.
