  Hello, my computer hard drive crashed so I'll replace it with a Windows 10 laptop. I was not able to uninstall CS5 so how can I now it reinstall it on a device that does not have an optical drive DVD; am I allowed to just copy the (original) disk to a flash drive and install from that?  (I have still the original disc and serial number but no downloadable version). • Adobe Design Premium Student and Teacher Edition CS5.5

  I bought CS5.5 in 2013. I installed it on my macbook pro and now I intend to buy a new Macbook. I wonder if I can install it again on the new laptop. Or if I can move somehow CS5.5 from the old to the new laptop. Also, I wonder if I need to go through the verification process, all since it's a student and teacher edition.

  Hi Kenny,

  You can use the same serial number on the new machine without any problem. Just make sure that you disable the product on your old machine before installing this on the new Mac. To disable, you can simply go to help > turn off in one unit. In addition, you can use the following link to download the product on your new machine.

  PS: Please do not use Time machine to move the Adobe programs from your old machine to new one.

  As the creative cloud composition was renewed, so you must disconnect from the Adobe application manager (CC app) & reconnect you, then launch the product.

  I understand that the previous subscription was installed where the new creative cloud subscription a CC icon of the application from the Adobe Application Manager.

  You can use the cleanup tool to remove Adobe Application manager (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) & download the CC these past App

  The student editions can evolve without problem. In fact, it's probably one of the reasons why Adobe offers them - to encourage students to become future buyers of the commercial.
