  I tracked down the problem with the download and installation, my windows 7 was missing a file and everything worked after reinstalling windows.  The first 32-bit program in their list was used.  I hope this can help others.

  Thank you. I actually ended up using Google Doc w / voice / dictation option. I did the following:

  1. export the audio from Adobe Captivate

  2. set again my sound of "Virtual Audio Cable" settings so that the audio has been accepted by the computer MIc

  3 clip dictated in Google Doc

  There is also a new Google Doc add-on which makes speech text even better that the native Google voice type

  Hi, I recently tried to download the trial version of Adobe Captivate.  I need to learn how to use the software for a new job. I downloaded the installer twice and then prompts, and once the interface has been installed, the programme won´t, as it says installation was not made correctly.  I tried this process twice same results failed. Now I can try again to download the Setup Wizard because it said "access denied." Why won´t the trial version works?

  I'm sorry for the frustration you have experienced installing a trial of Adobe Captivate. What is your operating system? Some newer versions have been known to cause problems.

  Some General to try troubleshooting steps:

  1. Uninstall Adobe Captivate: Adobe Captivate help | Uninstalling Adobe Captivate.
  2. Run the cleanup tool Adobe CC: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. Captivate isn't a creative cloud app, but the cleaning tool can help clean up the remains of program that may interfere with the installation.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Re- Captivate download Adobe Captivate free trial download | Adobe Captivate 9.

  If you try the above and that you're still having problems, please let us know the specific error codes that you receive. If possible, send a screenshot: the specified element could not be found...

  You hide what is the problem. It would really help if you posted real data. It is always helpful if you post the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for some examples of data and outcomes from these data.

  Assuming that you really have something that needs to be in a certain order, and that order is not based on what in the values themselves, then DECODE might be a good way to do it. Store the value of sorting in a table can be even better.

  It seems that you use an exanple Oracle 9. In Oracle 10, using SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH is simpler:

• Adobe Captivate Question 9-Animation (path)

  I am currently working in Adobe Captivate 9 and fight with some paths.  I've got some grouped items (an example: a piece of the puzzle is grouped with a text box) and want to evolve together on a path.  This trajectory looks great in the preview, the preview of HTML5, etc..  However, when I publish it as a file zip for my E-Learning review, it looks nothing like the preview or preview of html5.  The piece of the puzzle is in one place, and the text ends by not moving does not regarding - as they seek is more as if they are grouped.

  In another example of this same question, groups I put movement paths on did not end with the position that they appeared at the end in HTML5 preview or overview screen.

  You can apply trajectories to groups, but it is a little tricky. It is the focal point of the group following the path.

  Alternatively, you can check your version number? There are questions for the output in the first version. The current version is 9.0.1.320

  I m with the current version of LearnDash and Grassblade LRS Grassblade xAPI Companion.

  I generate classes with Adobe Captivate 9.
  
  I downloaded the course with xAPI companion, active monitoring of the completion and the course opens in a lightbox.
  

  The course has 3 simple Quiz slides at the end.
  It is possible to follow the course once per user.
  Then, after clicking on the "Launch" button again the course starts the quiz slides so that the user can´t resume.
  

  
  

  There is the same problem in failing the course:

  -User hits the road

  -L' user fails to Quiz

  Your problem with the course of recovery to the Quiz results slide is due on bookmarking.  One solution is to disable data summary bookmarking by selecting the option from the quiz > Reporting screen under Advanced to never send the CV database.  (For a small quiz containing a handful of issues it should never be necessary to mark and return anyway.)

  Return the learner to the first slide in the project by using the action of failure does not reset the quiz.  Several attempts to quiz, to allow through the Quiz > pass or fail the screen and select the option to display the button resume.  The user must be clicking on the Quiz results slide this button to reset the quiz to zero for a new attempt.

• How to download longer videos at Adobe Captivate premium?

  I have difficulties, downloading videos from Adobe first which are longer than about 5 MB / minute. I need to download videos about 5 minutes. Note: The videos of all the download easily on YouTube.

  On a typical film of 13MB downloaded on 38% 5MB then pedaled charger back to 9% and again an increase of 27%, before falling back.  This has happened several times until finally an error flashed for a few seconds.  I tried several times with several different videos, all with the same result.

  Now I changed the Windows Firewall to allow full access Captivate and it still does not work.

  We have tried edit the msi file, looking for changes in the registry and can't seem to find something that would allow us to change this without having to do it manually by the user, but as I understand it, the settings can go back to use the network share on a restart. For a lab environment where students can use this software for various projects, it does not seem like Adobe Captivate is a viable option in a large company or a school that uses redirected profiles or roaming. I don't know why this cannot be changed or modified in the installation package. It would be a really nice and obvious feature that should be available!

  So anyone has suggestions or solutions to solve this problem, then we might be able to use this software on our campus? Any help is appreciated.

  As you probably know Adobe, like Apple, don't really cares about deployments in enterprise environments. They seem to think that these issues should be unloaded on business IT or users. As you have likely encountered users do not want to be bothered wth such things and can be very unpleasant when asked to do so.

  The key is that you may need to try to convince the community of users to adopt a product that has been designed for enterprise deployment.

  You will need to create the buttons that you want the slide D & D and format them to look like buttons on the other Quiz slides. Then hide them by deselecting "Visible output" in the properties panel.

  For these D & D slides, you will need a conditional action advanced or shared to be triggered on enter. The action will check the value of the system variable cpInReviewMode, which is a Boolean with the value of 1 by Captivate when you're in playback mode. If its value is in fact = 1 show you the hidden buttons. If you group these buttons, you will need only a single command:

It consists of all the themes of the small horizontal learning e - Learning.The is located on the upper side of the screen. This menu contains menu options such as 'legal' and 'warning '. They are textlinks / hypertext links. How can I join, it will open a pop-up window on the e-Learning after clicking on menu "imprint" or "warning? The pop-up windows should have the same design as the e-Learning for himself.

  That would be my approach:

  • Create all objects in the pop-up window on the first slide, group them (Gr_Popup) and their time for the rest of the project, Place objects on verified top. Be sure to include the X button, which should be a button of form because a normal button cannot be programmed for the rest of the project. A form is also a text container, it may not be a problem.
  • Create a tip action "Mount" that you can run on enter for each slide to hide Gr_Popup, tip even action can be used for the X button. You could create an action as well, with one group setting. Depending on the setting of the slide, perhaps, it may be necessary to add the Continue statement for this action if used on enter. Don't need her for the action of the X key.
