Photosmart 3310 printer: HP "Solution Center" can't find printer Photosmart 3310 on local network

Hello

My printer Photosmart 3310 scanner was working fine, but I recently had to reinstall the HP Solution Center software.

Now the solution Center can not find my printer on the LAN.

  • I can connect to the printer via its IP address and see all the information about the printer and scan
  • Printing and scanning doctor can find the printer
  • Windows can see the printer and print

But the HP Solution Center can not find the printer to install it, even when I type the IP address of the printer in the 'wired network' installation part of the Setup program.

I used the latest version of the HP Photosmart and Officejet full feature software and drivers (August 2015).

I don't know what else to do to try to get the HP Solution Center to find my pronter, I disabled the firewall, I tried to connect wireless and USB, but nothing seems to get the solution center to recognize my printer.

Any suggestions?

Hello

Published on the website of HP software seem to be evil and not one used for your printer.

I have notified HP to get this fixed number

Run the installation once more and select uninstall to remove it from your PC, then restart your PC.

Finally download and install the following software, it's good:

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL30951/MP-110165-3/AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.exe

See you soon,.

  • HP Solution Center can't find the printer.

I have a C280 and Windows Vista. I worked OK. for years. Now the HP Solution Center would not find the printer. I tried to reinstall the printer, but the problem doesn't go away. I reinstalled Windows Vista and the printer does not have a solution. To reinstall the printer, I used the cd that came with the printer and I also downloaded the drivers for HP Web site.

I can print and make copies, but I can't get a file after scanning a document or a picture.

    I'd appreciate any help.

You can try a reinstall of the software HP Solution itself, rather than just the printer drivers.

  • Windows Media Center can't find DVD disc when inserted.

    Original title: dvd player

    Windows 7

Media Center can't find DVD disc when inserted

shows driver to be good and up-to-date

Play any CD or DVD or recognized by the system?

DVD players are a common failure point in computers.

If yours is a desktop PC:

A replacement can be purchased for about $20 and is easy to install.  Remove all power.  Button Hold ON in during 7 seconds.  Open the case.  2 screws hold the disc instead of delete, then remove the two wires from the back.  Make slide the other in its place and reverse the procedure.

    If yours is the laptop:

It is part of the OEM.  Therefore, it is much more expensive.  Probably in the vicinity of $100.  You can instead buy an external DVD drive for about $25, which is connected by USB.  It has the advantage of being portable and universally adaptable to any other PC.

  • HP solutions Center can not run because your installation of the device is not full (Windows 7)

I downloaded and tried to install HP Photosmart C309a all-in-One Driver Software 14.0 Rel.5 in a new installation of Windows 7 Professional (not an upgrade). Installation works very well until the moment of the connection to the printer.

I tried the wired and wireless network connections. The screen "Found network printers" lists the printer with the correct IP address and MAC address. Network Diagnostics screen shows any errors. The screen "Installation of your printer" poster "Detected printer", then says "printer setup has failed to complete." Retry does not help. Removing and reinstalling the software do not help.

The Windows devices and printers control panel shows the printer as "Series of HP Photosmart C309a (redirect 2)". I am able to print a Test Page from Windows printer without error. The 'print options' are also available.

The printer works fine with other computers on my home network, one running XP and a Vista running.

How can I get the software installation to complete successfully and provide the printer the HP Solutions Center?

    Thanks for your help.

Well, I have solved my problem. I'm not sure that these steps are necessary, but here's what I did.

1 follow the instructions in "Completely uninstall and reinstall the HP software" HP. In particular, 'clear the temporary files and folders' and 'Disable Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) programs and any other lighting programs' before reinstall you, then "Reactivate startup programs", after the reinstallation.

    2. install base drivers, and NOT the complete software package with applications.

    3. If the basic install works, then install ALL the applications (eg Solution Center). Do not try to install some applications but not others.

4 remove the applications that you do not (e.g., Online Shop).

Maybe the steps 2-4 are not mandatory, but they worked for me.

  • HP solutions Center can not scan, scan to preview works nor, error code 4, [(3,42,0)]?

    HP Elitebook p 8460, business management Win 7 (64).

All-in-one, HP Officejet 5610 (no initials).

5610 works properly, it can scan via buttons, copy via buttons, can be used as a printer with no problems.

Center solutions HP see the 5610, reads ink levels, seems to work ok for everthing BUT sweep.

HP Soltuon Center starts scan, guests to the default values, once selected all hae, he proceeds, the 5610 appears to be scanning (I hear it move scanner) but the software does not.

The scan preview window appears but is a smaller rectangle and cannot be resived or even not selected, no menu drop downs seems to work.

After 30 seconds or more, the error message appears, a yellow triangle with "!" in it...

    reading...

An error has occurred in the scanner software.  Try the following steps.  After each step, try to scan the image... then reboot, restart, reinstall... tried all, same error.

Raise the HP printer and Scanner Utility Dr, he ran, he said I need an update, installed the update, revived 'Dr', he said everything was fine (past all the test), test analysis resulted in the same error.

I never had this on Win XP, but I was never able to make it work under Win 7 on this computer.

In fact, I had forgotten I had recorded this problem (from September last year).

I tested the scan function again and it seems to work fine.  I does no change, but this does not mean that I have no updates that may have solved the problem.

Solution Center still does not show ink levels, but by going to the printer Kit, ink level estimates are displayed (possible solution).

Please consider this problem solved for me.

  • Why the HP Solution Center will not find the printer and then closing?

I reinstalled the HP Solution Center Suite software for my Officejet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) on my wife's computer and was able to print but the solution center not working anymore.  Then, I connected the printer to the network and the driver/software installed on my computer.  I am able to print as well, but when I open the Solution Center it says "Products HP undetected" and then closes.  I have Windows XP Pro on two computers and before that I did a reinstall of the software on my wife's computer, everything worked well.  Where should I go from here?

Thanks for the Document of all possible solutions.  What I found was the "Digital Imaging Monitor" wasn't not and by going to the directory C:\Program Files\HP\Document Imaging\Bin and find the run file hpqtra08.exe, clicking on that and pressing the key ENTRY, the digital imaging monitor started and the icon popped up in the projection of bar good lower program that it is running.  Once who was running, I was able to open the HP Solution Center to my scanner, etc.

The only problem I had was when I restarted my computer, the Document Imaging Monitor does not open and the icon show up in the lower right of the bar program.  So this time I went in the directory C:\Program HP Imaging\Bin, click once on the file hpqtra08.exe , then created and right click a shortcut icon on my desktop for this run.  Now, whenever I need to use the HP Solution Center I double-click on the icon that I created that starts the digital imaging monitor and then I am able to open the HP Solution Center.

Of course, there is a defect in the installation but I reinstalled the program 3 times without success so I'll stick with manually from the digital imaging monitor, because I know it works.

  • Windows 7 Media Center can't find my DLNA certified DMP (an LG BD390 Blu - ray player model network).

I have a Player LG Blu - ray wireless connected to my home network.  Configuration of the network connection to the format Blu - ray says it is successful, and it is capable of downloading movies on the shared internet connection.  My management software from the network router (WRT610N model) Cisco Linksys® Network Magic Pro displays the Blu - ray player on its network card device.  LG Blu - ray player is a certified DLNA DMP (digital media player) device and the software supplied LG Nero MediaHome 4 (Server DLNA media graduate) successfully concludes the LG Blu - ray device when it starts.  So far, I've been unable to get the Windows 7 Media Center (supposed to be a media graduate DLNA server) to find my network Blu - ray player.  But the problem is more than just that the Media Center do not find my network device, even the 7 network and sharing Center window is not this network device when I select «View full map»  When I go to printers and devices on Windows 7 and select 'Add a device', it does not find my device of network Blu - ray player that passes by the Cisco Network Magic software and Nero MediaHome 4 software.  So what prevents the network of Microsoft Windows 7 software and Media Center software to my LG Blu - ray network player?

Media Center Extender technology owns and uses any DLNA.
I don't know why Umesh from Microsoft Support thought it was possible. You
will not be able to set up your Blu Ray drive as an Extender. You CAN use
Windows Media Player READ ON technology and streaming technology. You will not be
be able to use your new drive LG Blu - ray network as an extension inside the
    Media Center interface.

  • CAN´t find other computers on the home network Windows.

I have a home network windows already defined with two desktop with Windows XP and a laptop with Windows 2000. The computers are connected to a router with ethernet cables and the lap top wireless (WiFi) to the same router. Now, I'm trying to connect a fourth computer (a desk top) with Windows Vista. It works fine to connect to Internet, but I can't reach the other computers on the network. On other computers, I can see a 'new', but I don't see the others of a "new". Can someone help me with the configuration of the computer "Vista"?  Thanks in advance.  / Thomas

    Hello

To home network computers running different versions of Windows, we need to make sure that what follows.
    a. ensure that all computers are in the same workgroup.
    (b) the value of the private network location type.
    c. open ports in your firewall to allow file and printer sharing.
d. turn on additional file and printer sharing options.
    e. consider using password protected sharing.
    5 using the network card.

The NIC in the network and sharing Center is a graphical view of the computers and devices on your network, showing how they are connected and including problem areas. A computer running Windows XP can be detected and appear on the network map, you may need to install the Protocol Link-Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) on this computer.

To install LLTD, visit the following link and download: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922120

  • HP Solution Center is not find my Scanner. How to remedy?

I have the HP solution with the icon of the printer Center.  All I want to do is add my G4010 Scanner icon.

whenever I try to install the software recommended by HP, an error massage appers that my system is not taken in charge.

The HPsoftware missreads my system, what is widows 7 Home premium.

I downloaded the driver as suggested, the same thing... it stops and an error box appears, it reads that the operating system is not supported. He reads my XP operating system. My OS is windows 7 Home premium.

I tried several times, from the CD that came with the scanner... his thing. Downloaded the drivers offered by HP, always the same result. The download is done... complete extraction and when the installation starts... just stop a few seconds more later showing the Windows XP operating system massage is not taken in charge.

My OS is windows 7 Home Premium.

  • Windows Media Center can't find digital signals

Why microsoft is located on their products

I have the media center of vista and I can not get digital signal; I searched for 3 hours trying to find updates or what ever may help and what I find is a stupid idea and eventually find a Ko but it is not for my product!

Microsoft then why no update for media center don't why no help substantal for media center. Why do you persist in telling lies on the products (vista, media center) when they just are garbage?

I have the media center of vista and I can not get digital signal...

I don't know if this reflects the problems you are having, but I had a similar problem with Windows 7 Media Center and my Tuner of TV Hauppauge WinTV HVR950Q. I know that I have entered digital HD but Media Center it would not recognize despite repeated attempts and various configuration changes. Finally, in total exasperation I changed my position of my real Canadian position at one South of the 49th parallel (e.g. American). My digital signal was instantly recognized within the TV configuration.

Someone needs to inform Microsoft that the Canada in digital TV effect and actually had digital broadcast metropolitan centres required by law since August 31, 2011. Maybe the program should be renamed media library.
