  Hi all

  I have problem with Adobe Captivate 7.0. (full version) After you install AC 7.0 and put the serial key Adobe good race.

• Adobe Captivate 5 do not open - loading screen freezes

  Hello - I just installed eLearning Suite 2 and cannot open Adobe Captivate on a Windows 7 computer. ELearning Suite 2 programs start and run, but Captivate freezes on the "Loading" screen... "when opening and don't go any further.

  I've used the Captivate 4 without error. I respect the requirements and have a lot of free disk space.

  I have tried as admin, restarting my machine, disconnect from my network to start work and clear the user's preferences. None of these permits.

  Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

  I just got the phone with the help of Adobe for a similar problem.  Apparently, I had recently installed some incompatible fonts so Captivate was stalled at the stage of start-up "load fonts".  I uninstalled all recent fonts and now it starts very well.  I'll have to reinstall then one at a time to find out who he was, but at least now I can back to work!

  Hello, maybe there is a problem with the mode protected in the flash plugin - you could try if Disable protected mode makes a difference.

  We have Adobe Captivate installed 8.0.0.145 Windows 7 x 64 v.

  Activate Adobe crashes with the following error: a fatal error has occurred and the execution of the application took end. Adobe Captivate one attempts to save all of your work in the respective folders of the project as cpbackup files.

  I uninstalled Adobe Acptivate, rebooted the PC and reinstalled activate Adobe - unresolved error.

  I have cleared the cache under settings, clear the cache - unresolved error.

  The update should be available to help, updated. It is available since October 2014.

  Being administrator is not the same thing as Captivate running as an administrator that must be put in place in the menu right click on the shortcut that launches Captivate. You have restricted functionality if this is not done.

  I told you how to clear preferences, with the file Utils. First close Captivate, when you restart CP will create a new preferences folder.

  

  If you have a lot of customization that you will lose when the erasing of the preferences. To keep them, have a look at my blog:

  Layouts folder is located in the public Documents. It is a copy of the original folder in the gallery. Same thing with the Interactions.

  I have

  I worked on this project (slide @175).  Suddenly, that I save my changes, the program freezes & has close & it seems now the file is corrupted.  Am I basically screwed here?  Is there a hope for this file?  I read that Captivate 5 manages so-called projects with 400 + slides, so mine should not be a problem.

  There are no other open programs, the file is not already open.  I guess I'm screwed & spend 2 days to redo the work I just do.  Fortunately, I have a backup, but a backup that does not include about 16 hours of changes.  This has always been a fragile product and I had hoped that Captivate 5 which had improved, but I do not.

• Captivate 5 freezes when opening sync video edit

  When I insert a video slide and go to properties > video > edit video Timing, Captivate freezes and I need to restart the program.   Not sure why happen it all of a sudden. You can restart captivate with the new set of preferences.

  1. close Captivate.

  2 remove the record of 'Captivate 5' to place "C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Adobe\".

  3. restart captivate and try the workflow you mentioned.

• How to recover the work lost in Adobe® Captivate® 5

  I hope you day is going well experts from Adobe. I created a file captivate using Captivate 5 and the software crashed and lost a day's work (twice now).  I know I should have been saving all along, but I didn't know that there is no automatic record (or is it? have not been able to find this option).  I found files in the folder Adobe Captivate cashed project with the file extension .cpd in the uncompressed folder. Find the files text.cptd, info.cpi and audio.cpad in the folder of the project conceded.  Here are the files I was working on and is it possible to restore these file types or use this information to retrieve my captivate?  Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm desperate to get back on this work.

  Also if you have assistance or information as to why the software Crash today to prevent it from happening again which would be really big!

  Try installing Adobe Captivate 2 in 64-bit Windows 7, I get an error message saying "InstallShield Wizard has been interrupted... "Windows 7 compatibility tool has been no help.   Adobe Captivate 2 is not compatible for use with Windows 7. Check out the following link.

  You can try to install in compatibility mode and see if it helps.

  (a) right click on the configuration file (the file setup.exe for the software), and then select Properties.

  (b) now, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode for.

  (c) select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Click on apply and OK.

  (d) now right-click on the configuration file and select run as administrator and follow the normal installation procedure. Check to see if it helps.
