  I just opened Captivate for the first time in several months. I have a macbook pro with OSX 10.9.1. Captivate worked fine on my system before today. When I opened upward, the Adobe Update manager says that there was an update so I said yes at the update. Now, when I try and open Captivate, it bounced a couple of times and disappeared.   (1) in the Finder Menu, click on Go-> Go to folder... Open/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  (2) rename the "OOBE" folder to "1234".

  (3) download Adobe Application Manager here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4774&fileID=4438

  (4) install Adobe Application Manager

  (5) launch Adobe Captivate 7

  We published a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2015) on July 19, 2016. This update is available via the Adobe Creative Cloud application.

  What operating system runs your Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1? For now, I will assume to Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  If you really want to delete the settings file, then follow these steps

If I open my "My Documents" folder and open a document Word etc they open well. When I click on them from the desktop or the start menu, it comes up with the 'Open with' screen (and eg - folder: MYOB.exe) for me to choose what program I want to open it with, but then don't there is no program for me to choose.

  This occurs when the default program has been changed. You can make the default programs using set Associations.

  1. open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.

  2. click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program.

  3. click on the file type or protocol that you want the program to act as the default value.

  4. click on program change.

  5. click on the program that you want to use by default for the selected file type, or click the arrow next to other programs to show other programs. (If you don't see other programs or your program is not listed, click Browse to find the program you want to use, and then click on Open. ) If no other programs are installed that are able to open the type of file or Protocol, your choice will be limited.)

  6. click on OK.
