• Upgrade or replace ColdFusion 9 and 7

  I am responsible to install Cold Fusion 9 on a box that already has Cold Fusion 7 on it.  They really want to work side by side.

  I have a few questions about this, and I hope community support could help guide me in the best sense.

  (1) from what I've read, it is highly recommended to run only one instance of CF on a server.  Anyone able to confirm or dispel this suggestion?

  (2) I have changes in tag since version 5 and higher than my first resource link below.  If we move to strict CF 9, should be relatively easy to upgrade?

  (3) if I was going to have 9 CF and CF 7 running silmuntaneously on the same server, it was suggested to install the new version first, then the old version.  Well this server already has CF 7 running on it.  I don't think it would be wise to CF 7 just to install the CF 9 first to uninstall.  Do you agree?

  (4) if the versions are performed side by side, which is the indicator that says an application or a site running what version of CF?  My initial and limited experience with CF 9, is that it is resting site.

  Any other help or advice on this issue?

  I don't know who suggested that, but I know a lot of people (including us) run multiple CF instances on a server.  Running multiple instances of different versions of ColdFusion is a little more difficult, but quite possible.

  Relatively easy, Yes.  But not easy enough that you don't want to do the upgrade in a development environment first and thourghly examine your base before you do in production code.  One of the biggest witch hunt is to have functions defined user (UDF) in the code with a function name that is now a function integrated into the new version.

  It is quite possible to have multiple versions of ColdFusion running side by side.  But we have to plan for it from the beginning.  To do this, you must use the 'multiple' server configuration of ColdFusion Enterprise (or developer) an installation of ColdFusion license.  If your CF 7 is not that, it's very common choice of a stand-alone business or a license of ColdFusion Standard, you will need to uninstall and reinstall in the «Multiple server» configuration

  This is done through the web server connectors.  It is quite easy to define an instance of ColdFusion spefic and connect to a specific site on the Web server.  GUI Web Server Connector tool makes it really easy to implement.

  The EULA of 10 ColdFusion (Adobe ColdFusion 10 End User License Agreement - Adobe Labs ) indicates test is allowed under the terms of the developer license, so, technically, you are breaking the EULA currently (disaster recovery is specifically authorized use the same license of production).

  The EULA of 11 Coldfusion (http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/legal/licenses-terms/pdf/Adobe_ColdFusion-Multi-20140214_1311.pdf ) added using the same license for production for internal testing, although the external test server can be a problem (the EULA says tests servers must be on the internal network).

  The EULA for 2016 ColdFusion (http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/legal/licenses-terms/pdf/ColdFusion-2016.pd f ) seems to be the same as ColdFusion 11 regarding the servers out of production.

  Adobe Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox (MEASURE) was abandoned several years ago. It is no longer available for purchase and the code is NOT open source.

  If you have a registered copy of uninstaller, you can continue to use it, but it is no longer supported, and it only works with specific versions of Dreamweaver.

• LR break during importation and development after installing SSD drive followed by 10 Windows

  I recently had my hard drive replaced w / a SSD and also had installed Windows 10. I was already running Windows 7 Home Edition. Had problems installing the creative cloud app manager, followed by matters more LR and PS installation. LR would launch, but eventually crashing. Contacted Adobe support and must go and fix some file due to error that I was getting (does not solve it) and do not remember the name of the file now. It was like last week some time. Uninstalled and reinstalled LR, always crashing while importing and developing.

  I have clients waiting for images and can't seem to get this resolved w / 'Customer Service '.

  So I'm tender hand to my classmates. Help please =.

  • Please close Lightroom and then open Device Manager, and then clear the graphics card.
  • Open Lightroom and uncheck the graphics processor.
  • Lightroom nearby, and then select the graphics card from the Device Manager.
  • Now please open Lightroom and you should be able to import.

  A blank window appears generally if the Akamai detects that your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the DLM.

  In most cases the JRE or ActiveX controls are not enabled.

  Try to switch to another browser to access your download, or you can download it from: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

• ColdFusion 11 and Solr

  I just install ColdFusion 11. I'm sure I chose the option install addons such as Solr, but when I'm in the coldfusion under data & Services Administrator, I click on Collections of ColdFusion and I get nothing. It won't all go to the page. If I click on Solr Services, a page will appear. If I click on the collections of ColdFusion and then restart coldfusion addons I get a page that appears, saying

  "Failed to retrieve collections of the Services.Ensure of research that you installed ColdFusion Search Service and it works."

  I guess that means that it is not installed.

  So I went Adobe - ColdFusion Support Center: downloads more and downloaded/installed Windows the Standalone install Services module. I do not change the settings or files and installed. I restarted the server. I logged in the coldfusion administrator, and I see the same thing. Nothing has changed. When I go to view the folders I c:coldfuion11 and a c:coldfusionAdd - onServices. If the coldfusionAdd-onServices in the folder coldfusion11 folder?

  I read that you can create your collection through the administrator or a page of coding. I thought that maybe I should try this way. So I created a page to create the collection, and it doesn't work anymore.

  What Miss me? I missed a step, or something to make it work?

  I have a windows 2008 Server.

  We looked at the ports. It does not solve our problem. I asked a senior system engineer to work on it for several days without success. We had installed on a physical machine. He tests it on a virtual server and it works beautifully. We have therefore decided to use the virtual machine. The engineer decided he probably had to do with the number of CPUs / cores on the physical machine. I wish you good luck.

• Adobe Creative Enterprise Cloud deployment with SCCM R2 2012 problems

  Hello

  I tried to deploy Adobe Creative Enterprise Cloud to 8.1 of Windows machines that are identical, using SCCM 2012 R2.

  The Adobe package seems well, because it seems to deploy successfully on some machines. SCCM R2 2012 has been configured correctly, that I can deploy other software use, and even once, he deploys Adobe CC successfully on some of the machines.

  I tried to compare the package is downloaded to the computer client/test machine, with the original on the distribution using Beyond Compare, and there is no difference.

  I contacted Adobe Enterprise Support and they asked me to send in the Event Viewer logs, the installer msi and other newspapers from Adobe, the machine failed deployment.   The fact that it deploys successfully on the same machine and it fails on another, or sometimes deploy on two machines and fail on another (simultaneously), is something I don't understand.

  Another thing is that, if I try the deployment of 10 to 15 times after she failed the first time, it could pass by...

  Adobe Enterprise Support asked me if they could remote into a machine that doesn't have the deployment to take a look at it and I have agreed to this option, but it seems that my problem was ignored because they never to return for me.

  I can see that by removing the reference to libs/AdobeLibraryAPI.js index.html I am able to 'test' on the desktop.

  I made the changes to hang the Viewer to bring in some of the folios we develop.

  However, even if it means to test and develop on the desktop in a form since we use JS and spine, there several checks in the code provided to see if ADOBE.isAPIAvailable.

  If this is the case, then the behavior is different than on the desktop, so once the Viewer is packed to the top and put it on the IPad there is a disparity between what you were able to check and test on the desktop version against which is shown on the IPad.

  So the question is... is there a quick way to develop and test on the Ipad... it does not seem a viable option to develop blindly on the desktop and then package the content in Adobe DPS Viewer to check the behavior of these changes on the IPad?

  To reiterate the Viewer is to make use of the spine / js example to provide greater functionality and customization options.

  You can debug remotely using Safari Office. Installation instructions are here a debugging library or a custom storefront iOS | Adobe Developer Connection. When you are debugging on the device you should also load your JS and CSS files remotely. Use SHIFT + CMD + R to reload the files from the web Inspector, ignoring the cache.

  Create a car (file from archive) in the CF 9 enterprise that will capture all the CF 9 settings such as data sources, Web services, etc. Make sure that when you do this, pop up blocker is disabled.

  NOTE : when the file was created to archive, give full name by the absolute path in the name of the package. For example C:\Test\mypackage.car

  Then move the car file in the server where you want to install CF 11. Install CF 11, and then deploy this compressed file (car). All CF 9 settings will be migrated to CF company 11.

  Otherwise, if you want to install 11 CF on the same server where CF 11 is installed, then remove the connector for all sites that are configured with CF 9, make sure that the CF 9 services running, and then run the program at the end of the installation of 11 CF and CF 11 installation, you will get a dialog box asking you to migrate settings cf CF 9 11.

  Run the Code parser in CF 11 administrator to verify whether or not all of the CF 9 used in your application code breaks into CF 11

  I would like to me license 2CPU ColdFusion Enterprise 10 migrate to a new server of VMware. It's what VMware does not support multi core processors, so the server is built with 8 processors.

• ColdFusion 10 and Ebay Web Service WSDL

  Hi all

  We have recently upgraded to Coldfusion 8 to 10 of Coldfusion and we found a business-stopping bug:

  In the Administrator console in Coldfusion 10 GB of DATA & SERVICES-> Web Services.

  It adds a web with link WSDL service http://developer.eBay.com/webservices/latest/ebaySvc.WSDL

  Other input values have no effect in this issue.

  You will then receive a Coldfusion error:

  Model: /CFIDE/Administrator/extensions/webservices.cfm

  Diagnostics: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensionAttributes (Ljava/util/card); null

  The error occurred on line 141.

  Same error if you try to instantiate a web service to ebay object with data inside the cfscript WSDL.

  It is a show serious Cap because ebay API no longer work with Coldfusion 10 and we were forced to a restore to Coldfusion 8.

  Any help would be much appreciated!

  P.S. other WSDLs non-ebay seem to add fine to CF10.

  Adam, the web service consumption will also be affected. The version decides what framework is used to generate the client-side stubs.

  DmitriD, could you please post the code used for the test. Where did you try to set the version? Set the version in CreateObject() or CFInvoke to consume. If you change the wsversion of server level, it is used by publishing only.

• Library and develop the views differ

  Hello world

  I have observed that the view from 1:1 to a photograph library stands 1:1 view to develop the same photograph. This photograph has been processed in various ways, including using the adjustment brush to remove the saturation and clarity in the box to the left of the boy running, where appears an undesirable human figure (this is not the last setting made for photography). The library view does not show the effect of this stage of development, so the view to develop shows clearly. Here are excerpts from two points of view 1:1 (library view at top, seen to develop at the bottom):

  

  

  I also note that the display of the library is not as sharp as the view to develop. I really expected the two views are identical, but they are not.

  Anyone else seen this?

  The differences between library and develop views have been discussed (warmly).

  In essence, the library module displays a preview that is created in Adobe RGB (and saved in the jpeg format, I think).  It is updated only when LR think something is changed.  The development module is always rendered on the fly to ProPhoto RGB.  This should be more specific, but to save the treatment it some shortcuts are taken.  For example, sharpening and struggle against noise are not always displayed for the low ISO images except in the 1:1 (the logic that it saves time and noise/sharpening cannot be judged except 1:1 anyway).  Search the forum for many happy arguments on the merits of this.

  Firebird is a level of DB, was about as Oracle enterprize (in the form of Interbase, Firebird, then), has full respect for SQL standards, performs, has all the triggers and stored procedure and other tricks that MySQL doesn't have, but it is not in the DBs of Adobe ColdFusion support.

  What gives?

  You have a database for Firbird driver?  Preference of a 4 JDBC driver.

  Install the driver.

  Configure ColdFusion to use the custom driver.

  Be the first user of CF, that I know of to connect to this database.  I've never heard of it before.
