Adobe Creative Suite stand-alone licenses will not work

Dear friend,

I have Adobe Creative Suite stand-alone licenses for computers of the not-for-profit research unit that I ordered.  All products have stopped working and they want to convert me to the cloud.  I don't want the cloud because I can't pay the annual subscription fee.  Can you help me restore my licenses individual office?

    That being said back up your system with time machine

    It is best to do a clean install of 10.11 over the update

    Can clarify you what you mean by the product key? Adobe Creative Suite products use series of numbers for installation 24 numbers. If you purchased the software from a third party reseller, you may initially received a redemption code, which is a string of alphanumeric characters. However, the redemption code is converted into a serial number when you first enter it. For more information about reimbursement codes, please consult this document: redemption code help.

    If you try to retrieve the serial number of your other computers through system information or similar means, certain figures cannot be displayed.

    Since it seems that you were not able to find the number through the steps outlined in the document I linked earlier, you can contact customer service. Click on the option "Always need help" blue at the bottom of Customer Contact and select Clavard. Although the cat is not able to provide technical support for older software, they can specify what licenses and serial numbers that are associated with your account. They can also search for phone numbers and e-mail addresses if you feel there is a missing serial number of your account.

  • Adobe Creative Suite CS Production Premium 5.5 works with El Capitan OS?

    Hi, I'm using a MacBook Pro (late 2011) and am running OS Lion. I ran into a lot of hiccups recently as a lot of my Apple software programs (including iTunes... my iPhone will communicate with my computer) will not update more. So, I'm forced to update my operating system OS to OS El Capitan. Will be my work of Adobe Creative Suite CS Production Premium 5.5 with this OS? I have been dealing with the problems of health in more than a year now and get back to work as a facilitator, artist and filmmaker. I desperately need my 5.5 CS to work and cannot afford to pay for a subscription service (CC) at the moment. Any help would be amazing! It is a list of Adobe software that I use every day:

    The withdrawal of CC Adobe has already been done when contract with Adobe has expired.  Called 8158 800 - 443 for technical support. Gave them remote access to my computer. We have removed a CC of Adobe Acrobat, uninstalled version Adobe CS6, while reinstalling CS6 on the wire support has lost connection (I have been cut). They don't have to remember or even send me an e-mail. So, I am myself with your help. Already found this help Adobe with reference to the CC cleaning tool and downloaded the application. Read the instructions, but was reluctant to use it fear that I have problems with a functional version of CS5. Seems that Adobe is so obsessed by getting creative cloud that they failed to give the instruction to stand only users in their Cloud customers creative dialog box. Just for grins, I chose option "Have a different Adobe ID?" (already created my ID years ago). A new dialog box will appear asking you a serial number. Copied and pasted my serial number, then I think I received a thank you from Adobe and magic all my new CS 6 software is now validated and work. Hope it will be useful for others who are done with digital subscriptions as Adobe Creative cloud. I hope that Adobe will give us the support users only support a break when it comes to technique. I don't want to think creatively in a cloud.

    I bought LR5 in more than a year ago as boxed version and installed using the serial number provided in the box.

    A few months ago, I installed Adobe CC and signed the package which provides LR and PS. Installation of the PS via software-CC has worked as it should and I expected that Adobe CC recognizes my installation of LR and chenges recording for CC-credentials. But he did not. Same uninstallation and reinstallation via Adobe CC didn't work on one of my two machines (other works correctly from the beginning).

    As I included it in my LR abo, I want to sell the stand-alone version - but first of all, I have to change registration to CC.

    You can check with the seller from whom you purchased the software on how to install it correctly.  Serial numbers are not normally required to install applications.  They are normally needed for activation after installation.

    If you got passed to installation and activation does not work, then you should contact the Adobe Support by chat or phone when you have the serial number and activation problems.

    I have an old Photoshop CS3 install, install a newish Lightroom and now I need to install the first of my Adobe ID work. I think that this may be the crux of the problem. If the Cleaner CC app worked as advertised, I could delete the old installation of Photoshop and simply use the new Photoshop CC and everything would be cool, but the CC Cleaner does not work. It seems that it works, but the problem persists. In fact, Adobe support told me via twitter that the Adobe installer fundamentally does not work on Mac migrated (new Mac when old data has been put in place backups). They called cela a conflict of BONES, but I pointed out than any other works, so there is a conflict of good enough Adobe.

    It seems to be a permissions issue, and Adobe thinks it's a permissions problem blocking VAC applet, but I fixed permissions HD and made repair disk, run Adobe CC Cleaner several times, tried to install CC in another account administrator on the machine, tried to install CC of root and all this repeated after reinstalling OS X via restart with Cmd + R , always ends with the same result: creative cloud close unexpectedly.

    OK, thanks for the update KBaird.  I'm curious about the results, but the option you have chosen is probably the fastest.

    In general, I recommend only migration of documents and settings and reinstall all applications directly.  Sometimes the migration can occur successfully more often if they lead difficult to solve errors regarding Adobe Creative applications.

  • Accidentally, I installed upgrading Digital Publishing Suite, and now DPS will not work with my CS5.5. Is there a way to get the previous version?

    I tried to re - install the previous version several times, but I always get the error message:

    N ° as says this message, DPS is no longer supported in CS5 or CS5.5. This was announced months ago.

    CS5.5 is a product of auto-sranding who would have had to pay for, like you did for CS5.  It is not an update for CS5 but a completely new version.
