  Hi all

  I tried looking for the answer to my question, but that research gave no fruit. Apologies if this question has been addressed elsewhere.

  I have a CC license and 1 member of my team (me!). I have used this license on my MacBook Pro, but I would now like to turn the MacBook on my iMac and more.

  I read on some forums that each user can affect their license for 2 machines. Is this true? If this is the case, I installed Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator on my iMac, but I can not activate the license through my CC account.

  Any ideas?

  I am a teacher in a secondary school in the Zimbabwe and I am interested in the most cost-effective way to purchase group licenses for our school for the Creative Suite or Adobe CS programs like {Digital.Anarchy.backdrop.Designer.v1.1.for.adobe.p and Illustrator.

  Currently, we have installed on many Macs at school but I would like to install it on PCs of students (Mac/Windows) so that they can work on this, both at home and at school.

  The Group licensed for a limited number of computers?

  Can I uninstall the program on a specific computer when the student is finished the course and reinstall it on a computer to incoming students?

  Creative cloud would be a better option?

  I read a lot of information on this site and am still not clear as to what would be the best option for us.

  I tried to update automatically to version 11.0.2 version 11.0.3 on my domain so that it is logged on as a user account. Auto Update settings work if I am logged on as administrator, but not as a domain user.

  I was under the impression that the installation of the automatic update as a service could undermine permission issues that has tied the program update. It seems that way.

  I can confirm that I have auto update together in Adobe Reader and the registry entry

  HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM

  where the iCheckReader DWORD value is equal to 3.

  Finally, I'd like for Adobe Reader to perform a silent installation without any prompts from the domain user. Currently I find the automatic update does not work for users.

  For the record, I'm not behind a proxy.

  It could be that there is a set of policies administrave for the domain that is forbidden.

  I tried to keep my display scroll bars when you open a document in Adobe Reader only of not having them see the next time I open a document. Even though I have a touch screen, I don't want to use touch. It is much more efficient for me to be able to scroll through long documents. I can change the settings everytime I open a document, but it's too bulky to use constantly that way and I was not able to find a way to save my settings. Maybe there's a better older version for me, or maybe I need to look for another company to open a PDF file. This program is so complicated that I can not even find where to tell you what version it is, but it should be the last to touch Windows PC.

  I had corruption of the registry "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders", where many of the keys have values set for the directories of the user of my administration.   In fact, I have not... However, I have to go change the preferences of Adobe and to take do not open in the Internet Explorer browser and that seems to have solved the problem for now.  However I am still confused about whether it is a matter of IE8 or Adobe 9 and X...   In fact they have plans for simple applications overall, with one exception where they offer Photoshop with Lightroom for less than what the combination of would cost them separately.  You're probably not going to get an answer to your question, but... it's probably a part of their marketing strategy that is aware of the management of the Adobe - no information to share to the public.  It is unlikely that anyone who knows why will visit these forums, or are allowed to share this information, even if they did.

  I wish to inform you that a contribute license can be installed on both machines max, but executed on one machine at a time.

  In your case if 6 users will work to contribute entered then you will need to buy 6 licenses of Adobe Contribute. But if only three users will work on this topic at a time then 3 licenses of contribute would be sufficient for you.
