I reinstalled, cleaned REG, has started in safe mode.
No malware on my pc either. At least no AVG, Malwarebytes and spybot could find.
Please have a decent answer or I'm never going to use firefox again.

Try the pref gfx.content.azure.enabled set to false or if this does not help disable Direct2D by setting the pref gfx.direct2d.disabled true on the subject: config page and leave hardware acceleration enabled otherwise.

Alternatively, you can try to uninstall the update of Windows KB2670838 if you have this update.

Hello Kevin and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you run in error codes 0 x.  I would try to help with that.

I recommend you to perform a power reset the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  • Explorer crashes after update requires restart

Hello. I am running Windows Vista x 64 final. I'm not in the sidebar of pestiferous bug.

Every time that Windows Update requires a restart, Explorer crashes (no longer) after the reboot. After a few minutes of waiting to explore to start, I click on get something and I got the white box that says something like "this program does not respond, you want to . I kill and, for good measure, I restart Windows.

The second time I restarts Windows, Explorer loads and works for less than a minute before it crashes again. I have to kill him, and then restart Windows. Then only Explorer does not work with anything approaching reliability.

I have run chkdsk - checked everything very well. I ran sfc/scannow to find any problems in the file system, but got only standard Sidebar.ini questions (sfcdetails.exe will be in a response to this post). I also runSophos Anti-virus residents; I did a scan of Sophos Anti-virus ; I did a scan ofMalwarebytes Anti-Malware ; I did a scan Spybot Search and Destroy ; I performed aStinger anti-virus scan; I ran Windows malware removal scan. None of them found any viruses.

This problem occurred regularly since I was the computer. Why Windows Explorer does not hang after a Windows update reboot? How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

My best guess is that the Sophos has an important role in the problem you are experiencing. That can SpyBot.

Notice that the bottom line is that "all the files and registry keys listed in the framework of this operation have been
managed to fix it. So the question of the update is not missing or damaged system files, at least
not those that CFS can check and correct.

The only errors exist for settings.ini which is for the sidebar and probably does not
no effect on the functioning of the sidebar. There's certainly no impact on the question of the update.

    Close the sidebar for that.

Is there the thing for the settings.ini - run AutoRuns and look at the SideBar Gadget entries - all
This point is no longer existing files such as temp or uninstalled gadgets or not running? Generally
those who have "Yellow icons" on the left side and the files/folders will not exist. If so right click on them
and delete - restart. This may correct the errors that you see.

Autoruns - free - see what programs are configured to start automatically when you start your system
and you log in. Autoruns also shows you the full list of registry and file locations where applications can
    Configure auto-start settings.
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
    ----------

Another thing that often correct this problem is to close and start a couple of different gadgets.

    I hope this helps.

  • Production Portal crashes with wait times

    Hi all

Several times during the day, the Portal 10.1.4.0.0 crashes with wait times.
In order to recover, the portal must be restarted.

(The time-out period also took place during the time that they had a db corruption, but now that corruption has been resolved, the grip still occur.)

After you run the SVU in CLEANING mode, the problem persists.
Timeout has been defined in many more than the default value. Stall has increased also. Neither helped to solve the problem.

Java portlets come from a provider of OC4J, and they are all the pages under a group of pages.

These data (also the views of hollow) readings of portlets on portal schema to create the "style" and the css of the portals pages. All the instructions of database are selected, except for the rare insert on a table in their schema operation custom.

    Responsibility of the user:
Access statistics indicate that about 800 users access this site in 1 hour.
1100 users had access of user higher in an hour.
Access by concurrent users are about 500.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello Louis,.

In this particular case, the EPP time-out settings are set at very high values causing depletion of the discussions of the recovery tool in the recovery EPP tool thread pool:

       page
       oracle.webdb.page.ParallelServlet

    requesttime
    120

           minTimeout
           180

           stall
           200

This should be the course of action for you:

    >
As you already pointed out, the portal seems to hang because Edison provider does not respond quickly enough to requests as part of the portal. Oracle Portal should be able to recover Thi in normal cases. Unfortunately, configuration in the portal settings have changed since the default values, making it almost impossible for the framework to recover from the error. To understand this, we will need to go through the theory:

The Oracle Portal framework collects information from various sources and assemble these web pages which are then sent to the Web browser to end users. Suppliers are a source of information. To retrieve information from providers, Oracle Portal allocates a thread of so-called fetcher in OC4J_Portal. This fetcher thread will create a session with the provider (remote) and extract the content, similar to the way in which a web browser would contact a web server to retrieve an HTML page. It is important to note that Oracle Portal allocates a thread of the recovery tool for each portlet on a page. For a page containing five portlets, five threads of the recovery tool are allocated as the content is retrieved at the same time.

In a default configuration with one OC4J_Portal process, the number of threads in the recovery tool is limited to 25. With five portlets on a page, the portal will be able to serve up to five queries simultaneously until the Fetcher thread pool is exhausted. This normally isn't a problem because the recovery tool nets are normally allocated for a few seconds. Once they have received the response from the provider, they are returned to the pool and will again be available on the portal.

The problems start when the response from the provider becomes slow. The thread of the recovery tool is not returned to the pool immediately. Applications begin to queue until the system has more than the threads of the available recovery tool. Once there is no thread of the available recovery tool, the portal will wait for a new thread fetcher for a certain period of time (as specified by the queueTimeout). After expiry of that period of waiting for the queue, the portal will return an error on Oracle's HTTP server. This is when end users will start to encounter errors in the pages.

To keep the portal alive and in good health, administrators should be careful that the fetcher thread pool don't get exhausted. Obviously, the best way to do this is to ensure that all suppliers to respond in a reasonable amount of time. If there is no control on the response time of the suppliers, administrators can use timeouts in the framework to ensure that queries for long durations are killed by the framework to ensure that threading of the recovery tool is returned to the pool again. These settings are configured in the Web.XML from the portal application in the OC4J container called OC4J_Portal. Of course users will see errors of time-out specific portlets on some pages but the general framework will be available. In addition, directors may decide to increase the number of threads in the recovery tool by starting more than a process of OC4J_Portal. Each additional process will increase the amount of threads fetcher with 25. However, there is a penalty of memory that each process may consume between 256 to 512 MB of memory. Administrators should only increase the amount of process when they checked the system high portal has enough free memory available to hold account of these additional processes.

    Action plan:

1 change the values of time-out for the framework of portal to the default values:

    a. go to $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_Portal/applications/portal/Portal/WEB-INF
    b. copy the web.xml file:

    web.xml Web.xml_23MAR2010% cp

    c. edit the web.xml file:

For the RepositoryServlet and the PortalServlet, remove the timeout of STALL
For the page servlet, remove the requesttime, minTimeout, stall and queueTimeout settings

2 increase the number of processes of OC4J_Portal from 1 to 4:

    a. create a copy of the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/opmn.xml file:

    % cp opmn.xml opmn.xml_23MAR2010

    b. open the opmn.xml file

    c. find the following section:

    d. in the section for the OC4J_Portal process, change the following line:

    TO

    3 synchronize the repository, DCM:

    % $ORACLE_HOME/dcm/bin/dcmctl updateconfig

    4 restart the process high

    % $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl stopall
    % $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl startall

    4. make sure that the changes are in force:

    a. number of OC4J_Portal process:

Run opmnctl status and count the number of OC4J_Portal process. You should see four of them.

    b. time-out settings in OC4J_Portal

Open the $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_Portal/application-deployments/portal/OC4J_Portal_default_island_1/application.log file and locate the following line at the end of the file:

    03/10/08 06:32:32 Portal: version PPE: 10.1.2.0.2 (29022008)
    03/10/08 06:32:32 Portal: setting of the parameter values: poolSize (Fetchers) = 25 [default = 25]: minTimeout (MinTimeout) = 5 s [default = 5s]: requesttime (DefaultTimeout) = 15 seconds [default = 15 s]: stall (MaxTimeout) = 65 s [default = 65]:

    Hello

I installed an Alfred Workflow (see code below) that will mark all my mails as read. After you run it for a minute, the mail has crashed and I had to forcequit. However, now, when you open the Mail it crashes instantly, even after restart and repair the permissions. I also used the Ctrl + C and CTRL-Z commands in the Terminal to leave the alfred_script, but nothing helped. I'm running out of ideas here, so I hope you could help me either reinstall the mail.app. I could always just switch to a different mail application, but it's kind of a last resort.

    Code:

    Tell application "Mail".

Define allAccounts on each account name

    Repeat with currAccount in allAccounts

the unreadMboxes value (each mailbox to the account currAccount the unread number is not 0)

    Repeat with currMbox in unreadMboxes

(read status of each message to currMbox including the playback State is set to false) true value

    end repeat

    end repeat

    tell the end

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Can post the report of crash on demand.

Not sure that Alfred's, but it's just an Applescript script and it would not cause Mail to be planted.

However, when running through all the messages, it is possible Mail database has been corrupted and it crashes because of this.

I'll probably get anything out of the accident report, but others might.

My first instinct would be to rebuild the mailbox. Because you can't do that with him crashing, you can simply delete the databases and it will rebuild them.

    Navigate to this folder:

    ~/Library/Mail/v3/MailData/

You can either manually through the files, or copy the full path and paste it into go the folder in the menu go to the Finder.

Remove the envelope Index files. Open Mail and see if it works well.

If your library does not appear in your folder, hold down the Option key and select library in the menu go to in the Finder.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

Error sharing a trend similar to that in the third box, so a similar approach should work. Looking for CoreFoundation.dll in:

    • C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

Delete if found, then repair Apple Application Support.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of documents to support more far down page in case one of them applies.

Your library must be affected by these measures but there are backup and restore advice elsewhere in the tip of the user.

  • Satellite L20 error: DVD - RAM crashes with a blue screen with the use of cd-audio

    Hello world

I have a very annoying problem: when I use audio-cd, my Satellite tends to crash with a blue screen. When it crashes, blue screen, scrolls and immediately a black screen and a restart follows.

It is probably a driver problem, because I have three audioprograms installed (Windows Media player, Sonic Stage MiniDisc and I-tunes).

Can someone give me advice? Thanks in advance

    Klaas

    Hi Klaas,

It would be useful to know what the error message is when you get the blue screen. I suggest that you disable the restart automatic installation so that your laptop stops on the blue screen and you can read the error.

To disable the auto restart: -.

    1. right click on 'My computer' icon and then click on "Properties".
    2. click on the "Advanced" tab
    3. click on 'Settings' in the section starting and recovering (towards the bottom of the window).
    4 uncheck 'automatically restart '.

Please post again all the details of the blue screen error message.

  • Failed to upgrade 10 Windows v3-772 - initialize not just crashes with the acer logo screen

    Hi guys

I just had my computer repair and the SSD has been changed. I was running 10 before windows and everything was perfect until an update in ruins everything. Long history does not in this

In any case I unstall all my software and do an update to windows 10. All the preparations and thus seems to be okay. Then it restarts and is stuck. Never of shots. I see the low activity of the HARD drive, but I let it run for 8 hours and still nothing, always gangs in the acer start window. It's once the bios loaded, because I can access that I'm fast and press f2.

After a while, I gave up and thought maybe it was just a fluke, so I used my recovery dvd and reinstalled my system and the Agency and the outlook and... After the installation of about 5 hours, my system was ready to go. So I decided lets try again. And once again same failure. Just crashes with the Logo of Acer.

I called Microsoft and they told to do me a startup repair. However it is not possible, I can get it in the repair mode, but none of the functions to work. Then they said that it was a material thing, but everywhere I look States the v3-772 should have no problem with the windows 10.

I'm normally pretty good to fix my own problems, but in order to fix a problem I need a mistake or error code or something to go for. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

    ncmohr,

I'm not completely sure what is the problem, but I'll tell you this.  When I look at Windows 10 drivers of Acer and BIOS for your computer model and see that there are some drivers Windows 8 and an old BIOS, it's really bad... especially if you try to get Windows 10 anniversary of working on your computer.

I don't have the model of your computer, but I'll give you a bunch of links that may or may not help you get a version of Windows 10 installed on your computer.

If you try to do a upgrade "on-site" Windows 8 for Windows 10 anniversary, then the link below and picture below might help... but I doubt it.

Edit: I don't know if you should be using the drivers on the Acer website to download or just use the updated drivers that Windows automatically gives you.  Or a combination of both.  Try to start with the drivers Microsoft gives you automatically.  It could take hours for you to understand... Unfortunately.

Edit2: On the Acer Web site, they gave you windows driver chipset 8.1 and Intel Management Engine Interface driver. And I suspect that the reason that they did is because they don't have to update your BIOS.

  • VAIO will not boot xp. Crashes with blue screen error.

    VAIO will not boot xp.

    Sony Vaio PCG - 691L
XP, installed at the factory has SP3 update.

    .5gig ram

I worked on the machine to get to start XP. Sometimes it will boot in Safe Mode, but most of the time (and when it does not start in 'normal' mode), it crashes with a blue screen. The blue screen flashes fast to read, and then the machine tries to restart.
Once I do start safe mode and got WIndows update but can't update due to the update that needs to be in normal mode.
I was able to install Malwarebytes and a full scan. Also installed Spybot S & D and performed a full scan.

When it does not start in normal mode it is slow, very slow. I tried rkill and it causes the machine down.

It starts in normal mode today, but it crashed before I can get open IE and go to the windows update.

    Help...

    Thank you

    Rick

Tired of playing with this. Re-install xp.

    Thank you...
