  Is there a later version? Older Version? Also, I bought the 'Dreamweaver 8 for Dummies' book (I know I know connector) to make it easier to know how to create a site/set etc, but some things like a local file list box automatically refresh, does not exist when I go to the definition of a site.

  Adobe used to have separate cleaning tools for each version, but it has merged into one. Download and run it.  I have provided a link for reference:

  Did you follow your form as well?  A form must be completed and signed by both parties and submitted to the Adobe support via a support ticket. Chat support can't help, but should you indicated in section with the instructions.

  Absolutely not. You're misinterpreting things. Activation does not happen when you simply run the installer, although later.   As has been done by technicians from Adobe, you obviously have a paid support plan. It would be best if you contacted them to fix this.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).
