  Hi, when I try to open the Flash on my PC I get the following message "the Adobe Flash CS4 application has quit unexpectedly.  I uninstalled all of Creative Suite 4 and reinstalled using disks of my Creative Suite pack and the serial code.  During installation, an error occurred while the Flash is being installed and I get the same message when I try to open.  I use Windows 7 on a desktop PC.

  You must manually create an empty movieclip and place it on the stage in the upper left corner on a background layer of the main timeline.  Then, assign it an instance name of "backgroundMC" This movieclip is where the code will place all the matrix elements to be created.

  To create an empty movieclip, in the toolbar at the top of the page, select Insert-> new symbol-> Movieclip... assign a symbol name as "Virgin mc" or something so that you know what it is to return to the main document choose edition--> the main Document, and then drag a copy of the new movieclip to the upper-left corner of the stage.

  When it is still selected, assign it an instance name "backgroundMC" in the properties panel, where it says "" (you can name it what you want, but I'm just using background MC for this example to work.

  If you did this correctly, the matrix will be limited now to be in this context movieclip and you can place another object above it in the other layers.

  I have a system 32/XP SP3 with IE8.  I use the last Avast and have realplayer 16.  I have temporarily disabled all add-ons today, and later I could not to re - activate the entry has disappeared from the list of modules.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled IE8, Ditto with Adobe Flash using the Adobe Flash removal tool and then reinstalled the latest version of IE.  I used the Flash test option, and the screen is just gray.  So clearly although there is no diagnosis error during installation, the add-on is not built into IE8.  That's why URLs that require flash displays an error.

  I've actually been able to solve this problem... Finally.

  I used the adobe Flash remover program, rebooted, deleted the windows\system32\macromed/flash files.  Reset IE8, but this time also delete all personal settings as well.

  Re-installed shockwave Flash and hey-presto appears as an add-on...

  I'm on Mac OSX 10.10.1, using as Safari and Chrome browsers. I've recently upgraded to Yosemite since then, received error messages that I don't have Flash installed. When I download the installer, it gets stuck and will not exceed 30% of "" downloaded. I left for hours, and it's still at 30 when I get back. Is there a permissions issue that I could play with to allow him to continue the installation? Suggestions for what to try to get this installed?
