  After the ActiveX Adobe Flash Player 15 , flash course (EXE version) show blank screen. We converted the flash file to .exe using flash and the courses are copied to the internal network. We generally use the LAN path to the file exe flash courses to launch the course. It works if we install the previous version of ActiveX. (It also works if we use the LAN path as mapped drive, but we cannot do it for everyone.)

  We have recently made a number of changes related to safety at the way UNC paths are processed in Flash Player and in addition, have restricted some network requests are made for swf run locally running with local authorities - with file system.  These changes were necessary, because we were on the wrong side of a confluence of old and new standards and conventions, and approach very forgiving to incorrectly built URL in most of the major browsers.

However, with the increase in complexity, I am not convinced that using Flash Player for SWF running locally in the browser is going to be smooth, sail and I anticipate that we will see additional churn that we evaluate and align with the expectations of the modern in this regard web.

  Currently in my customer's environment, we distributed Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.239 and under "Add or Remove Programs", I'll have below mentioned 2 entries.

  1 adobe Flash Player ActiveX 15

  2. adobe Flash Player Plugin 15.

  In the version of Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.239, I was able to download installer exe in offline mode for - 15 ActiveX Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Flash Player Plugin from 15.

  Now, I plan on deployment last version of Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305. I have found exe to install Adobe Flash Player ActiveX 16. (version - 16.0.0.305)

  I'm not able to find the installer exe for Adobe Flash Player Plugin 16 on the site.

  Can you please confirm if this Adobe Flash Player 16 plug-in is removed from the version 16? If this is not the case, can you please provide me the download link.

  Hi Anand,

  If you have a Flash Player license for distribution (which seems to be what you do), you should have received an email with the download links for the installers.  If you distribute Flash Player without first license it, you must ask for distribution to Adobe Flash Player Distribution License. Adobe.  Once you do this, you will receive an email with links to download Flash Player.

• Nothing helped me to find a way to re - install Adobe Flash Player

  I studied everything I could find and nothing helped.  I uninstalled Flash Player because I was getting frequent 'shockwave fell down' problems when I played a few games.   Would like to have downloaded the fp_background_update.cab file, it could be that contains the resources. Extract the folder and place all the contents of this folder inside the XXX.XXXX.net/pub/flashplayer/update/current/sau/ folder.

  If you do not have the cab file, go to Adobe Flash Player Distribution. Adobe and distribution license application. You get the link to the page from where you can take the fp_background_update.cab file.
