  I tried to update my adobe flash player and whenever I install it and all my three browsers, it remains off when the "Adobe Flash Player Installer.

  My laptop is running Windows 7 and I am trying to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Firefox 14.0.0.125. Everything is fine until I get to the Adobe Flash Player installer box, it just looks like a black box empty. I have retried several times now and always empty the box of installation poster. I even waited to see if maybe it was just slow download but I got the install window open for at least an hour now and she is still a Virgin.   After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
  For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
  What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!
  I work with computers all the time at work but not the technical stuff. If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types. We use the desk at work as well. Personally, I like computers laptops for various reasons. And the mention of people many browsers go way over my head.

  I run Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition & 11 64-bit IE and have tried unsuccessfully to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. When the process is complete, it says "Done!" Thank you and good AFP. I enabled 'Shockwave Flash Object', but when I click 'Check now' to see if has been installed, it says "sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled. How can this be? He said indeed that it is installed and activated. To the best of my knowledge, I followed all the instructions to the letter - and more than once. Why is it so difficult to install something that should be pretty simple and intuitive, and what is the problem and the solution?   Hi, im trying to download the latest version of Adobe flash and the Installer keeps freezing. my browser is Firefox but it is the latest version of it and iv tried other browsers and nothing changes. It is a PC brand new that I received yesterday so I don't know what could be wrong. whenever I have start downloading it downloads as usual, then im asked to run the program, and before I click Yes I close all the windows and everything is running in the background. then I click Run and the gray area appears for the installer, but nothing happens.
