Adobe Flash Player Installer freezes

Hi, im trying to download the latest version of Adobe flash and the Installer keeps freezing. my browser is Firefox but it is the latest version of it and iv tried other browsers and nothing changes. It is a PC brand new that I received yesterday so I don't know what could be wrong. whenever I have start downloading it downloads as usual, then im asked to run the program, and before I click Yes I close all the windows and everything is running in the background. then I click Run and the gray area appears for the installer, but nothing happens. It's just a gray box. I do not see a progress bar or anything like that. then, I open the Task Manager because the installer does not and close the program from there. I don't understand what could be wrong or what im going to do. IV tried the standalone uninstall program and it installs it always. im running windows 7 Home Professional. If someone could help me please id be grateful. Thank you

  • Adobe Flash Player Installer box appears white?

My laptop is running Windows 7 and I am trying to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Firefox 14.0.0.125. Everything is fine until I get to the Adobe Flash Player installer box, it just looks like a black box empty. I have retried several times now and always empty the box of installation poster. I even waited to see if maybe it was just slow download but I got the install window open for at least an hour now and she is still a Virgin. Is this a problem with my laptop and if if I can help with it or is it a problem with the Adobe website?

  • Adobe flash player: installation of après-ski icon not "findable".

Hello, I installed the latest version of Flash Player on my iMac (OS X 10.8.5).) The installation went well. But I cannot find the program icon anywhere!

When in doubt I threw my swf file containing my animation, he says he finds any program likely to read... My connection file is to read this format off (I double click on it in my files POINT!)

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Flash Player is a browser plugin and only works in the browser. It does not display the SWF files outside of the browser.  You can do one of the following:

    • Display the SWF file in the browser, using the Protocol file:// (e.g. file:///Users/UserID/Desktop/FileName.swf)

      • In the browser menu, select file > open the batch file and navigate to the location of the SWF file to open it
    • Use the Flash Player projector, posted to Adobe Flash Player - Debug downloads, more precisely the file to download the Flash Player projector for Mac
      • It is a stand-alone program that allows to view SWF files
      • Download the DMG the APP it extract
        • In the main menu, select file > open file (Alternatively adrag and drop the SWF above)

  • Adobe Flash Player Installer gets stuck "downloading" and will not move forward

I'm on Mac OSX 10.10.1, using as Safari and Chrome browsers. I've recently upgraded to Yosemite since then, received error messages that I don't have Flash installed. When I download the installer, it gets stuck and will not exceed 30% of "" downloaded. I left for hours, and it's still at 30 when I get back. Is there a permissions issue that I could play with to allow him to continue the installation? Suggestions for what to try to get this installed?

I was able to download the installation program itself, but the problem is after I double-click on "Install Adobe Flash Player." See screenshot below.

I run Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition & 11 64-bit IE and have tried unsuccessfully to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. When the process is complete, it says "Done!" Thank you and good AFP. I enabled 'Shockwave Flash Object', but when I click 'Check now' to see if has been installed, it says "sorry, Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled. How can this be? He said indeed that it is installed and activated. To the best of my knowledge, I followed all the instructions to the letter - and more than once. Why is it so difficult to install something that should be pretty simple and intuitive, and what is the problem and the solution? I guess the update to Windows 8 would solve it, as it is already installed? Thanks for any help.

  • Adobe Flash Player Installer does not

I had to factory reset my computer and now it's not let me install Flash Player. I had to make sure I downloaded all the updates on the computer to figure what could be the cause. I reset the computer to ensure that the updates are finished but still do not get any resolution.

I use firefox and works to download but when I get to the installer it stops working and I have to use the Task Manager so that he can stop. Help please?

    Try this:

    1. reboot your computer to make sure there is not any Adobe processes are running.

    2. click on the Adobe link. Go down where it is still said "of the problems' and click on the link to Firefox.

  • Adobe Flash Player install freeze.

Perhaps my problem is a little different, and then a few more.  I have Windows 7/64 bit.  I also have Adobe Reader, Acrobat, and installed PSE9.  I have updated flash player several times with the usual adobe pop-up window.  Currently I have ver 10.3.183.5.  Yesterday, I received the usual pop window indicating a more recent version (10.3.183.10 I guess).  When I clicked on 'Install now' he hung up with the following window:

    pic.jpg

After waiting, I clicked on the 'X' and received an error message.  My current version 10.3.183.5 still works very well, but no update has occurred.  The only entrance to journal setup including the current date is:

    = O = M/10.3.183.5-2011-09-28 + 15-05 - 16.627 =.

    0000 [I] 00000010 "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10v_ActiveX.exe" - update activex

    = X = M/10.3.183.5-2011-09-28 + 15-15 - 58.760 =.

I don't know what is the best way to proceed.  If you have a link to a downloadable installer, I can do but if so, here are a few questions:

    (1) should I just run the installer or should I 1st uninstall 10.3.183.5 via "uninstall programs"?

    (2) should I turn off my first (MSE) antivirus?

    (3) should I disable the first windows firewall?

    (4) should I run the installer for a clean boot?

    Help will be appreciated.

I recommend trying the following steps:

    1. download uninstaller stand alone

    2. close all browser windows

    3. launch the uninstaller

    4 restart your computer

5 remove the following folder, depending on your operating system:

    • 32-bit Windows - c:\Windows\system32\macromed
    • Windows 64-bit - c:\windows\syswow64\macromed

    6. download and install Flash Player located here:

  • Adobe Flash Player plugin freeze Mozilla Firefox when enabled.

I am quite unable to ever watch a video in Firefox that requires the plugin Adobe Flashplayer. In fact, IF I activate the plugin, Firefox goes into a mode "not responding", which never ends. I AM, after anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes get a message that responded to the questionnaire of script to quit, but no matter how I answer, another gel (or the same) happens, and after a long wait, I get a message saying. What is happening so many times I let him to run more than 12 hours, then checked to find messages of stacked windows. When I cleared the last of the 20 + windows at the end of 12 hours, I immediately had an another freeze. The only solution so far has been to kill Firefox, in the Task Manager or the "red X and kill him now rather than wait ' options. Then, when the computer reboots, I quickly get the Add-ons page and re - disable Adobe.
The version of Firefox that I use is 35.0.1
The version of Adobe, I am running is Shockwave Flash 16.0.0.305.
Within 20 hours, I ran several hunters malware (malware bytes, security of systems Microsoft, AVG, AVAST, Spybot S & D and others I don't remember now) with several problems found and cured. None, however, corrected it.
My computer is an ACER Aspire 5732Z, running Windows 7, 64-bit. This problem cropped or less about 2 months ago. I wonder if it is related to the latest version of Shockwave and possibly occurred after only an automatic (n) updated.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall? If you have tried, have you tried giving up alttogether flash and HTML5 rather use? It is not supported at all sites, but HTML5 is much better than flash.

Have you tried contacting Adobe? This probably isn't a problem with firefox and unfortunately, even if he * is *,.
