  I wanted to develop a plugin for Illustrator that involves the creation of a tool (such as the pen tool) with specific behaviors. I downloaded the IllustratorSDK and worked with who do a plug-in, but then I read about Builder Extension for Flash Builder and was wondering weather it was possible to create such a tool using the Extension Builder.

  
  

  So far all I've seen the Extension Builder do is create windows and tools that create or manipulate, but I have not seen an example of it create a tool (like the pen tool).

  If the Extension builder can create a tool?

  On a side note, what is the difference between an extension and a plug-in?.

  Currently, it is not possible using the Extension Builder for your needs, you are probably best to watch the native SDK of Illustrator.

  Extension Builder provides Creative Suite ActionScript Wrapper libraries (CSAWLibs), which allow you to interact with the script DOM of products such as Illustrator of ActionScript.

  I don't think it's possible to create tools with Illustrator scripting and therefore is not possible with CSAWLib. You might want to try to raise the issue on the forums of Illustrator scripts.

  In response to your more general question, CS extensions are at base of Flash panels that can run inside multiple Creative Suite point products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). Plug-ins built with traditional product SDK are native components that are running in a single product, but of allowing a deeper integration into the product (such as, in this case, the ability to define tools).

• Photoshop cc 2014 with Extension Builder 3 doesn't work does not correctly.

  I can't even basic Panel work in 2014 of CC. I created a default Extension generator project in eclipse. I then this Adobe Extension Builder and Creative Cloud 2014instructions, but when I try to debug, this does not work. The Panel presents (with nothing in it) but says '' may not finish order because the extension could not be loaded. ''

  I created an extension for CC, then changing all by following the link above, tried to start in 2014 CC I get the same error, even if it worked in CC.

  Anyone know how I can solve this problem, or what is the cause?

  If this isn't the case, could someone provide me with an empty project Panel in Builder Extension that works for you, so that I can perhaps understand what the differences are.

  It's true and if you're on Maverick, you also kill the cfprefsd process (or close the session and connection or restart). Mavericks has a mechanism of caching for this kind of properties so that this change does not take effect until you do this.

• How can I remove the extensions I have created and run in Eclipse with Extension Builder 3 on Windows with Photoshop CC / CC 2014?

  I created a few different extensions in Eclipse using Extension Builder 3... I then press the green play / run button at the top to test these extensions in Photoshop CC and CC 2014.  This installs the extensions, but it does not use the extensions Manager.  Now, I want to remove my window to test extensions > Extensions list in Photoshop and can't find where are these files?  Anyone know how to remove these extensions from the list of test?  Thank you!

  You should find your test of extensions in the following directory:

  Mac: /Users/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions

  Win: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions

• SplashScreen works only on Android only when built with Phonegap Build

  If I build my application locally, the splashscreen works well. However, if I build by Phonegap Build, it is not. In fact, this happens only if I use guidance in the density attribute such as:

  I tried to downgrade the splashcreen plugin, change the resources folder names, file names, places, remove some preferences related to the splashscreen, but none worked. I tried Android 5.0 and 6.0 devices. Below is part of my config.xml file:

  You can post a screenshot of your zip file directory structure, please?

  Also, if you use any BMP, you need not include an element in your config file.

  Finally, BMP requires your icon by default to the root (with index and config), does not in some resources/.../-directory.

• Images by default Windows Store rejects built with Phonegap Build

  Recently this year, Microsoft has updated their policies.  PhoneGap Build has updated their servers for including CLI 6.1 +, which opens the options for the config.xml file for different processor architectures Windows, as well as versions of OS now.  Now, there is a problem, I have somewhere in the process.  The problem is a failure to test brand:

  

  There are some images that are respected in the output of the .aspx file resulting of Phonegap Build.  The images in question are images of Cordoba by default placed in the folder root\images of the .aspx file.  No matter what configurations I place my file config.xml, these images are not being replaced, so the .aspx still has no presentation.  I tried these parameters:

  As you can see, I tried to place in different places.  I've updated the config.xml file each time.  I tried these permutations different config.xml:

  At least if Phonegap Build has not generated from these files, the application would satisfy.  Take not that I have a set of default icon and splash screen.  These settings especially for my default settings changed not the generation who spent (a few months ago) before the update to their servers for support of Windows 10 GBP.  The resulting app generated at that time there was the screen icon and correct boot for all platforms.

  How do I configure BMPS to create an application that will pass the requirements of Microsoft or remove .png files in the Archives of .aspx, under pics which are the images by default of cordova dislike Microsoft.

  I submitted this as a bug.  It was addressed quickly and BMP substitute for now all images, as expected.

• Custom weird sync with Javascript files problem

  I attach a static javascript file to my application using the shared components... Static files installation in the APEX. This works. I can call methods in my JavaScript file and that they work as expected.
  
  The problem is that if I ever want to have JavaScript executed when the page is loaded, it is as if the javascript is not in place, but when the method is called. For example, I want to put some some features of the style of some common fields that occur on multiple pages, if I add a button to the page I click to call the method (and do not select "Fire on loading the Page"), it works very well. However, if I select "Fire on loading the Page", the javascript is invalid.
  
  I tried after refresh of the region looks like it would work, but this event will fire before* javascript code is available.
  
  How can I load the page, including the reference to javascript and then call the javascript method?

  have you tried to add the script reference in the immediately following external file of document ready appeals area of html on page 0? Then by using a condition, you can make the region only view and run on the pages you want?

  In addition, if your external JS file is really small, you could add the script tag that references the file for the page without much impact model.

  I found that the dynamic actions may be questionable. What version of Apex are you running?

• TWAIN with Officejet 6700 problem - cannot open TWAIN device default

  I'm having a problem with my online banking application to open default device TWAIN (Officejet 6700 Premium) to allow a check I want to file online scan. The application installs an add-on Internet Explorer called EZTwainX by Dosadi (version 1.64b7). However, when I click on the scan button to scan the front of the cheque, I get a message "Cannot open default peripheral TWAIN".  Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

  My computer is a Dell 530 running Windows 7 64 - bit OS (recently installed).

  Internet Explorer 11 (version 11.0.9600.17041). I guess IE is 32-bit position where he doesn't explicitly say 64-bit in Help - about Internet Explorer.

  HP Officejet 6700 Premium also recently installed in Win7 64-bit environment.

  Note: Before the recent installs above I not had this problem on Windows XP SP3 using the HP Photosmart C7280 AIO printer.

  On a hunch, I decided to download Java again.   If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

  The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
