Adobe invites

A user reported that when she accepts an invitation from Adobe (guest sent Entripise dashboard) and try to create an Adobe ID, its browser continues to fail. The user has tried unsuccessfully on IE, Chrome and Firefox. This seems to be an isolated case because most of the users who was invited managed to create their identification code can Adobe someone provide counsel on why this is happening and how best to move forward.

Hi Chito,

Cause the most probable failure of the invitation could be if it has expired. Please note that the guest who is sent by the Enterprise Dashboard is valid for a period of 72 hours. Have you tried to go to the users section waiting for the Enterprise Dashboard and choose the ID of the user and send invite them to them?

In addition, if the browser fails when you accept the invitation receive a specific error message? The user can also try to set up a free Adobe ID first and then return to their e-mail and accepts the invitation with the credentials they have the installer for the Adobe ID code

Thank you

  • Error message with record invite - Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard

    I talked to the Adobe Support cat team (1 hour of my life through two different departments, that I'll never come back) and at the end they advised me there is no 'chat' support for Adobe 8 and seek the answer through the forums.  Grrrrr.  Well, I hope that a genius can solve what appears to be a simple problem.

    I have Adobe Acrobat 8 installed on my pc using the CD-ROM and a serial number.  The problem I am facing is when I open or rename a pdf file, an Adobe invites to "register my product" window pop up and when I select 'register now' I get an error message (as directed by the screenshot). When ever I select 'save' the prompt disappears temporarily but appears again a few minutes later. By selecting "Register later" just gives you more time but same problem.

    Adobe Registration Error Message.jpg

    I checked that Javascript is enabled. I use Windows 10 (and before that, Windows 7).

    I thought that maybe because I use Google Chrome as browser therefore also tried Internet Explorer with 'Active Scripting' and levels of security changed to 'low '. (these were suggestions on google but have not worked).

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled just now to see if the problem resolves itself but it did not.

    It drives me crazy that I'm constantly working with PDF documents, rename, and edit them.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • launching applications in trial mode - online support solution has failed

    Hi everyone, someone has had the same problem? Online solution advise to download the new Adobe Application Manager and follow a series of measures to effectively renew. Downloaded successfully, and when I ran it returned an error window stating the application manager could not initialize and directed me to try a solution - a link that took me to a redundant Adobe support page. • Test 13 elements is not automatically decompress or start

    Just downloaded 13 items in a folder on the desktop of my PC. The huge, 1.7 GB file is not automatically decompressed or started. What should do?

    Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm now trying the second method that Adobe invites you to use if you have problems with Adobe Download Wizard that I used for my first two attempts. Adobe says the trial version should autostart and a shortcut should appear, but that has not happened. I'm a little worried to download another program; I have no idea if sourceforge is safe to use. I'll see what happens with my third attempt; There is 'only' 1 hour and 10 minutes remaining. I used the program complete Photoshop for more than 14 years, but this $* & ^ # experience with Adobe isn't exactly fall them with me.

    The second method seems to work!

  • The onDeactivate event handler does not work in InDesign CC. Why?

    Hi guys.

    I'm working on a script in Javascript for InDesign CC.

    The big problem is that the onDeactivate event handler does not work.

    Here is an example that works in InDesign CSx, but not in InDesign CC:

    #target indesign
    var w = new Window ("dialog", "Test onDeactivate");
    var et_1 = w.add("edittext", [undefined, undefined, 300, 30], "Lorem ipsum");
    var et_2 = w.add("edittext", [undefined, undefined, 300, 30], "Dolor sit amet");
    var st = w.add("statictext", [undefined, undefined, 300, 30], "CONSOLE:\r\r", {multiline: true});
    et_1.onDeactivate = et_2.onDeactivate = function(){
         st.text = "CONSOLE: I left the field with this text:\r\t«" + this.text +"»"; }
    var b_ok = w.add("button", undefined, "OK");
    w.show();

    The script displays a dialog with text edit fields window 2: when a field loses focus (by clicking on the other), the "CONSOLE" shows the text of the old domain.

    Adobe, please, solve this problem as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

  • Curious Flash Player update

    Hi, I got a message that Adobe wanted to update my flash player, and if I would allow changes to my computer today (19.2.210) when I started my machine. I run my computer every day.

    I realized that the update request was not signed by Adobe only after you click Yes (silly me)!

    This is the info in my Internet Explorer on Flash (I have disabled after suspicious on the update):

    Shockwave Flash Object name
    Pages Adobe Systems Incorporated
    Status Deaktiviert
    Dateidatum Freitag, 27. Januar 2010, 01:58
    Version 10.0.42.34

    Now, I am concerned about the security of my computer.

    Any of you have received an update today.

    If a member of the Adobe staff reads this, is certainly false in this update?

    Thanks for your help

    Tomasz

    Hi Tomasz77, I'll try to explain a little. When Adobe or another company released an update, users have a choice in the way they update. With this last update FP, it was released on 11/02/10. I became aware of it on 12/02/10. Now, I could have updated 12/02/10 by going to several of the Adobe sites and updated. I chose to wait for Adobe invite me and update that way, because that's how my FP has always been updated. Many users receive not only the FP update automatically but Adobe Reader in the manner of samer. I also get a prompt to update Adobe Reader.

    My Avast antivirus did the same thing when a new version is available. A pop up comes up and says a new version is available. At this point, I can click on it and Avast will update to the new version. Now I can go to their website and update from there. Microsoft is in the same way. Many users have developed their automatic system updates, that every time that Microsoft has any updates for Windows or IE it will be downloaded and updated automatically. I chose Microsoft to advise me of updates are available and choose Update I want to and when. Even now, I can also go to Windows Update and download that way.

    When I receive a prompt to Adobe Flash Player or player, I'm not sent or transferred to any website. Everything is done automatically, I just look at what is happening until it is finished. Then, I'll add to my Flash file to ensure that the correct files have been installed, go in Manage Add-ons to ensure that the Shockwave Flash object was also and reboot. My opinion is that the person who told you that you would be transferred to a Web site during the process of installation via the guest was/is wrong. No sense, what's the point?

    You said in your first post, you've noticed that the update is not signed by Adobe and you disabled it. The only way could have checked during uninstallation and installation should have stopped the process and so the update was not finished. Then, in your post #9 said you you updated IE & FF. At this point you should have use the uninstaller first. Then in post #14, you used the uninstall program. While you have installed FP, the use of the site "get.adobe.com. This site has Setup GetPlus/DLM/AMENDMENTS.

    I hope that this has answered your questions.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Well, they can always try to download acrobat that their subscription is active.

    But in the case where you want to invite them, simply remove the license by clicking on the 'x' on the far right of the license and then reassign the license to them.
