  Regarding the download, the correct trial version going, you should be able to manage on the link below.  If you have made a purchase and bought a Windows license so it is not valid for a Mac installation.  You will need to contact the Support from Adobe when they go bacvk vacation to see about getting the correct license.

  But what have you tried?

  Have you tried running it in compatibility mode (pretending to be XP for example) or even installation in compatibility mode as well? Also once compatibility is set, if it still does not work try by checking the "run as Administrator" as well.

  If Ive read that right - http://forums.v3.co.uk/showthread.php?t=195482 , I think they say that they got it running.

  But also, what version of windows you are running W7 32-bit or 64-bit? Maybe it's that it is possible to run 32-bit and that you have 64-bit (guess).

• Cannot download adobe photoshop elements and first 14 elements

  I bought Adobe Photoshop elements 14 and 14 items first when I bought my Mac.  I'm unable to download the programs. Download starts but stop to half way through. I contacted my internet provider, they said that my connection is strong and that is not the issue.  Why I'm having such a question and what I can do?

  I have already installed both items above to a laptop via disc and this laptop doesn't work anymore. I try to install both on my new laptop that does not have the ability to insert a disc. I tried to download via the website, but when I do, it ends the download but does not appear on my computer and also don't ask me for my serial numbers. I have the serial numbers to enter if necessary. Any help in getting these downloaded without a drive to my new computer laptop would be appreciated!

  So I bought a Wacom bamboo tablet earlier when I got windows 7, which it came with Adobe Photoshop 8 on a CD with the product code. I've upgraded and purchased a new laptop with windows 8 and no CD drive. While I managed to re download the necessary things to make my Tablet works from their site, I realized that I can't download Adobe elements 8 for my laptop because of two things:
  (1) I don't have a CD player
  (2) adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 seems to be only for windows 7 and under.
  My question is is it possible for me to get this back on my laptop or I'm out of luck in this Department? I'm not sure I can handle the money to buy the latest items for windows 8. It's hopeless for me to work again with this program?

I'll cut to the Chase: I was on my computer Vista using Photoshop elements 12 and want to buy it (or try another version of Photoshop which is still running on Vista). I refuse to buy another computer to run a program with which I was perfectly content on my own computer. The only option I currently see on the Web site is creative cloud: I'm willing to consider signing upward for her, if I can use Photoshop on my Windows Vista computer. I will entertain any discussion about upgrading my operating system: Photoshop elements 12 suited me my needs. If the creative Photoshop cloud edition does not work with Vista, where I can purchase, download, access, use a completely legitimate and legal Vista compatible edition and how much it cost me?   AFAIK, anything adobe sells now will run on Vista

  If you use version 12 on Vista, why did you not continue using this version?

  Since Adobe now sells only version 14, you can consult a seller like Amazon to see if they have this old version on a shelf

  Do you mean making Photoshop the default program to open the photos as jpeg files?

  Try right-clicking on a photo (jpeg) file, click Open with. Glance for photoshop in the list. Then check always use this program to open this type of file. I'm not sure it's good that the exact wording. And then click OK.
