  Yes, you don't need to have everything installed in order to install a more recent/updated version upgraded earlier versions.

  It can depend on which versions are these older versions.  If these are versions of cloud so I don't think hesitated to get rid of the older ones.  But if they are of a Creative Suite if you think they have features that the newer versions were stripped of their Flash, for example, had a number of useful components ripped out of it when they came out with the version of cloud.

• In Itunes and adobe reader all the latest versions have problems with the Info button.

  in Itunes no show buttons or the info for them, everything els is here, so the info botton if you move the cursor, if you can't find where they might be. Drive has the same problem but only in printing windo. Using Vista sp2 on a toshiba.

  2. were you able to use iTunes & Adobe Reader correctly previously?

  3. don't you make changes on your computer before this problem?

  If you face this question only in iTunes & Adobe Reader, I recommend you to uninstall the applications of the program & features. Subsequently, reinstall them & check if the problem persists.

  As Adobe reader has tried several times to install the 11.0.06 version and failed (think I already had the 11.0.07 version, not sure), I completely uninstalled and installed a clean last version (11.0.09).   Very rare; It might be an older version has not been uninstalled completely and AdobeARM detects the remains of this old version.

  Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

  http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

  After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

  You can select any language version if you download the installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  However, I do not think that the problem is caused by the Norwegian version; try...

  • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
  • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
  • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
  • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

• .Js file adding personalized to make it work in Adobe Reader (without the pro version)

  I created a form using Acrobat Pro X, in order to be able to use some limited functions, I created a .js file and included all the functions as functions of confidence.

  To use these functions, I placed this .js file in the JavaScript file on my system.

  But I don't see such a file on systems with only Adobe reader, instead, I see a folder named "JSCache", it shows not all inside .js files and if I place my custom .js file inside my form does not work correctly.

  You shouldn't do anything with the file JSCache; Leave it alone and add the folder "Directory Users\ (username) \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\Privileged\10.0\JavaScripts", or whatever it is for the version of reader that you use. The point is that you must manually create the preferred folder and the other two folders under it.

  If you are using the creative cloud then you can have the previous versions on the computer & you don't necessarily have to uninstall them before installing the latest version.

  However, it is recommended to uninstall older products, if you have the latest version installed because most of them have the features of old on them & remove old products will create more space on the hard drive of the computer that will be beneficial to the performance of the system.
