Adobe Reader: I see just a 'gray' file on my screen

When I open my Adobe Reader software, I see just grey on my file, but it prints fine.  So I don't know what I print until I feel it.

I would like to see my screen to see if it's something I want to print.  This just started happening recently

I think that something in my properties to look the screenshot that I messed up, but I don't know how to solve this problem.  Someone can give me directions on what settings I need to fix this with?

Please email me at [removed by host address].

my computer won't save adobe reader or any player of pdf files

Download and save > then install.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/find-a-file-you-have-downloaded

Search for a file that you have downloaded

This information applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.

When you use Internet Explorer to download a file from Internet, you are usually asked where you want to store the file. If you specify where you want the file to be stored, Internet Explorer try normally put a file in the appropriate place. For example, documents and Web pages are normally saved in the Documents folder, music music files in the folder, and the images and graphics are saved in the pictures folder. In Internet Explorer 7, which could potentially harmful, such as executable programs, files are saved in the folder of the first temporary Internet files, and then copied in the folder you specified. Programs and various downloads are also sometimes saved to the downloads folder. Here are some tips on searching for files, that you downloaded.

If you download a file, and the save file dialog box appears, it is best to specify the folder in which you want to save the file to. This will save time later. If you save multiple files, Windows will normally remember the last folder you have saved, if you do not have to specify the folder again.

  • I downloaded the adobe reader software, and my habit always file open

I downloaded the adobe reader software, and my habit always file open

Do you have accepted the license agreement for the reader?

    Otherwise, go to C/Program Files (or Program Files (x 86)) / 11.0/Adobe/Reader

Double-click the file "eula.exe" (it may just say "EULA")

    Accept the license agreement.

Open drive and you should be able to open a PDF file.

  • Why the Adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

Why the 11 adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

    Hi Nassman,

Adobe Reader is a single reading software for PDF files. JPEG is not a supported format that would open in Adobe Reader. You must open the Jpeg in application that supports this file format. (for example, Photoshop, Picture Viewer, MS Paint)

I hope this helps. I would like to know if you have any further questions.

    Kind regards

    That is right.

If you have Acrobat you need not drive in any case since the drive is only for viewing of PDFs and Acrobat has that covered already.

  • Download Adobe Reader block AV Firewall network of files compressed and encrypted?

I'm having a problem downloading Adobe Reader because our Sonicwall AV settings apparently do not allow compressed and encrypted files in the network.

Hello! When I try to open local or online PDF files, Adobe Reader opens aandd... rest like this. The program does not show me the document, and then closes.

I uninstalled and installed again, but the problem persists. This happens with all of my pdf files.

  • Adobe Reader XI hangs just push a button

It is a problem, I first noticed on my boyfriend's computer. He was running Windows 8 at the time, now upgraded to 8.1. Also, it happens to me on my computer.  I also run Windows 8.1.  To reproduce the bug:

    (1) open a document in Adobe Reader XI.

    2) press a key on the keyboard OR press on any peripheral on the mouse. (which means not left/right click buttons)

    (3) adobe Reader XI will close.

I reinstalled the software both on his and my computers. I did the cleaning before reinstalling, etc. of the registry. Nothing suits him. The software crashes as soon as I hit any key on the keyboard or the mouse. Note that I can click on the page with the mouse left/right buttons.  I can scroll with the mouse wheel. But if I hit any other button of the mouse, such as wheel of mouse, front/rear, zoom button, the software crashes.  It is reproducible for me on both computers to 100%.

    Any advice?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
