Adobe Reader made salient characteristic

Hello! I used to use the highlighter on PDFs and it was aligned with the text highlighting neat, as in a Word doc. I don't seem to have this option more. Pencil highlighter in PDF files is a circle that goes whenever I drag it and is shredded, not aligned with the text and I have to drag everything I want to emphasize, (can't click on a section of text, like in Word. I miss the old tool. I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you

NCT

Hello! I uninstalled and reinstalled. I hope this will fix the problem.

I downloaded the Adobe reader mobile for iOS at the time and tried to open a PDF created by Acrobat XI and optimized (no error reported) for the web and mobile devices, the file has been encrypted password (* not livecycle *) using 256AES, acrobat X compatibility restrictions allow: no, authorized printing low ground.

You can open the file with Adobe Reader.

  • Dynamic PDF is more made in Adobe Reader 11.0.07

We have a number of dynamic forms of XFA (PDF) we sent to end users. These end users are in the process of upgrading to Adobe Reader 11.0.07 (Windows, published on 5/13). However during the upgrade, users when you open the form get a number of modal dialog boxes with a notice stating "Invalid parameter." There may be several dialog boxes with this same error, one after the other. When the errors stop, instead of the actual shape displayed, a boilerplate message notify the user that they need to upgrade to Adobe Reader 8 appears (see below).

    bad parameter.png

    boilerplate.png

I tried to change a number of form fields and settings, but nothing seems to affect the outcome. Does anyone else have this problem?

I think I found the culprit of the error in the XML view:

    http://www.XFA.org/schema/XFA-template/3.3/ DisplayDocTitle:1? >

I removed the part DisplayDocTitle:1 of the tag and the error disappeared. Would be nice if Adobe error actually tells you which parameter was wrong instead of having to study by trial and error.

  • Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash Player for Firefox

These two above ins card are offered by Firefox. However, I made several attempts to download and install these plug-ins, without success.

Each time, the browser goes on the Adobe site. It says to access the instructions so installation of these plug-ins for Firefox. I'm going to the instructions and they claim that these plug-ins do not work with Firefox.

My questions, if Firefox offers these plug-ins, why can't I install them.

Please make sure you use the latest version of Firefox by going to the Help menu and selecting "in regard to Mozilla Firefox". The current version is 3.6.3 (to date), if you are using an older version, please download the latest version from the Firefox Web site. If you are using 3.6.3, try to visit Adobe for Adobe Reader download pages and Adobe Flash directly, note that you will probably agree to install Adobe (Adobe DLM) Download Manager and agree to several security prompts in the bar at the top of the page before the plugins to install. Here are direct links to the download pages:

  • Zoom ActiveX Adobe Reader missing tools

    Hi guys,.

I made a simple vi to open a pdf file in an ActiveX container. It works fine, but I wanted to be able to use the adobe reader pan & zoom tool.

If I open the PDF file on the computer, I have the tool, but when I load it in 2015 from LabVIEW, it is absent.

Is there a way to select this specific tool? Do I need to download some drivers or a library?

    Thanks in advance

As explained in my last post, if the ActiveX component does not provide this functionality itself you can not implement it on top of the Active X component yourself. Your drawing of the part would be permanently by getting crushed by the own design of Active X components, resulting in a very ugly flickering as the two drawing routines are trying to fight against each other.

    You have three options:

    (1) obtain a PDF Viewer control that supports the functionality you want.

    (2) recover the image complete and the visible area somehow, resize it to view thumbnaiil you are after and view it more control Active X, rather than on top

    (3) call an adjustment and leave it as it is.

Don't ask me how to do the 2). Should you allows to get somehow an image either can't stand the sight of the full document, which activate Adobe X control probably. Can do a sort of photo resizing which is pretty easy to do when you have IMAQdx but a pitta to do yourself (simple pixel resampling only gives a horrible result). Displays the result in an image control, in addition to control Active X would be the trivialst part of this.

  • Cannot install Adobe Reader 9.3 Error Message 1402

I made several attempts to download the Adobe Reader updates, but still receive the Error Message 1402 every time.  I have recently deleted adobe all products from my computer and reinstalled each successfully, with the exception of Adobe Reader 9.3.

I can't get this download and installation due to receive Error 1402: could not open key.  I am the administrator on this computer, and no one else uses or has anyone used except me.

Unfortunately, the article above applies to Windows XP and Windows 2000, not Windows Vista.  But this led me to the following:

Here is an article on how to change the permissions on the key of Vista (and XP but skip this part):http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405573.html#OnWindowsVista.  Although for another Adobe product, the rules relating to the modification of permissions are the same.  I am sure that your error message included more than you posted - it would have included also the key to the problem.  That's what you need to find the section of the registry to change.  Once the change is complete, you must have permissions and should be able to install.  To install a right-click on the executable setup file downloaded and click Run as administrator.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hi rainwater63,

This problem may occur if there is an incorrect setting in one of the following registry subkeys:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 322756 How to back up and restore the registry in Windows

Check the Microsoft KB article below which talks about a similar issue with Microsoft programs. You can give it a try and check if it works.

You receive an "Error 1606" error message when you try to install or remove a program from Microsoft
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/886549

If the step above does not resolve the issue, I would say that you install the Windows install cleanup, then run the cleanup utility from the start menu and then remove the entries for the software, and then restart the computer for the changes to take effect and now try to reinstall the software and check.

  • I get an error message "an error has occurred while trying to write to the CONFIG folder. MSI"by updating to adobe reader.

I have a folder named CONFIG. MSI shows as locked in 'share with '.  I can't seem to change the configuration, that is, to unlock the file.  In addition, 'Properties' shows 22 files in the folder but only 2 files display in Windows Explorer.  When I try to update Adobe Reader, I get an error message that an error occurred during the attempt to write to the CONFIG folder. MSI.  I am the administrator on this PC.  What can I do?

Original title: locked file, CONFIG. MSI

    Hi Paul Rumbaugh,.

    (1) this exactly happens when you try to access the folder?
    (2) what is the error message or error code ?
    (3) have you made changes on the computer?

    Method 1-

You should check if the problem persists in Safe Mode as well.
To connect in Safe Mode, you must follow the steps in the article-

Start the computer in Mode safe

Note: make sure you connect in Normal Mode after you perform the troubleshooting steps.

    Method 2-

Perform the steps in the article-

    Disable the anti-virus software

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall

Note: make sure that you turn on Windows Firewall and re- Activate the antivirus after performing all the troubleshooting steps given the computer can be at risk of infection by the virus.

    Method 3-

See the steps in the link-

    Error writing to file C:Config.MSI

Note: you must follow step 7 of article to return the computer to Normal startup after you perform the troubleshooting steps.
