  There are a few threads on this, I'll post them below. Also, please answer the following questions. In questions, I'll explain why I ask them.
  What antivirus do you have? Is it updated and ran through a Full Scan? There was malware and viruses that may prevent you from downloading files.
  Have you tried to clean boot? Following these instructions could let us know if it is a 3rd party software blocking you or if it's a Microsoft process.
  Try some of the answers in the following threads. If you get error codes or something new comes along and you still need help, just go back to your thread here and let us know your results.

• Cannot download images from Canon to the computer

  I have a new Dell running Windows 7.  I installed the software for my Canon PowerShot SD550 camera, but I can't download photos from my camera to the computer.  I tried to uninstall, but it won't let me.  Is this a compatibility issue.  I have a camera perfectly, and it saddens me to think that it is useless on Windows 7.  Any help would be appreciated.

  If you have connected the device via a USB port to the computer. Make sure that you follow these steps to download pictures from the Canon.
  a. turn on the Canon camera and put it in playback mode by pressing the button with the triangle "play" on this subject.
  b. plug the small end of the USB cable to the device and plug the other end into a USB port on your computer.
  c. click on the "Start" button in the lower left corner of your desktop and click on "my computer.» Double-click the icon of the gun in the left pane of the window "Workstation". If another file exists inside the folder of the Canon, so open that until you reach the image files.
  d. Select the files to be transferred to your computer. Hold 'Shift' click on the two separate files and it selects all of the files between the two. Otherwise, hold 'Ctrl' to select multiple files that are not adjacent.
  e. click on 'get images from the camera' If Windows recognizes the Canon as a camera 'Scanners and camera,' Wizard which will guide you through the download of your photos on your computer and remove them from your camera. Click on 'copy selected files' if 'get images' is not an option, this will open a dialog box where you select the location to which you want to download your photos.

• Impossible to download files from ANY browser, download "internet explore 6.0 + required.

  I have Windows 7 64 bit and Internet Explore 9 installed, as well as Safari and Chrome.  The same message in all three browsers when I try to download from gaming sites. Above the box error message indicates "Internet Explore 6.0 + required. In the box it says that it detects a version 0.0.

  Here are the sites that I've had no issues with/shockwave.com, iwin, bigfishgames.com.

  The problem started last night. I have disabled the firewall of my antivirus (webroot), rebooted and it worked fine. I put a system restore.

  Between last night and this morning there was a complete windows update when I turned on the computer.

  Then the party started

  I used the system restore and took it back when things worked... no luck

  I have not removed/disabled any virus or malware software... no luck

  Also tried to create a new user to see if the problem would be postponed... He did

  Microsoft Safety Scanner mode running without failure.

  I found a lot of questions about the inability to download, but none had the same description as my error message. There are so many suggestions of what we must try, I don't know what would work for my problem. Any ideas out there?

  2. / Library/Application Support/Adobe (rename Adobe Application Manager and Adobe of joint office)
  3. Go > utilities > (rename Adobe Application Manager and creative cloud)

  Canon 70 d raw files are not supported in Lightroom version 3.3

  you need at least version 5.2 of Lightroom and Camera Raw version 8.2

  So, you have two options:

  • upgrade to a newer version of Lightroom
  • Free DNG Converter allows you to convert your images to DNG and then import into Lightroom 3.3

I paid more than a grand for a great HP with Vista and used for the Tech Cert class and cleaned for my son's graduation gift and he is a writer and player and he loves her and we had win7 and new free heat paste and he's still using it after 7 years. I also have older refurb that run circles around "hater peeps" with bells and whistles that they dislike. I take most of it off the coast of the new computers anywho. A very productive day and catch me on my site of the Pupsrun.com family, when it finally comes out of beta mode. :)

  Photoshop elements 12 can use the 8.5 camera raw plugin, which should allow the Olympus E - M10 to open in 12 PES editor or be imported in the Organizer 12 PES.

• Transfer or download images from my camera to my computer.

  I have a Dell Inspiron3847's new with processor i5-4460 running Windows 7 Professional. I downloaded pictures from my camera to this computer twice since I got it but not for a few months now. I would always take the small map of the camera and put it in a hi speed of the reader/writer for SD/SD/MMC cards, I bought and plug the cord into a USB port. Immediately a small window open on my desk asking if I wanted to transfer photos, or when I wanted to put the information, or which file, etc. Now I plug but receive nothing. I know that its not the (card reader) is working because when I go to start, then computer it shows disk removable (e). But I can't find a way to make the computer give me the option to transfer images. My icon lights telling me that I can safely remove hardware and eject the media, but that's all I get another small circle that runs for about 2 seconds next to my cursor arrow on my desk just after that I plugged the drive into. Any help?

  Why not connect the adapter first, the card insert the SD card?

  Looks like your Auto play settings must be configured.

  Open Control Panel > Auto Play

  Be sure to only use AutoPlay for all media and devices is checked.

  If its already checked, uncheck it, then click Save.

  Close the dialog box, reopen it, then check the new box, then click Save.

  Just installed Photoshop Elements on my new PC under Windows 10.  Saved all my photos from a hard drive from my old computer to the pictures folder.  They're all here, all the 5,000 +, but after trying several times to download at Adobe, I get an error message it failed because some files little damaged or already exist?  These photos were all ok on my other computer and open with Photoshop Elements.

  Yes, you have not used the recommended method to transfer your catalogues and image files on the new computer:

  Displacement of Adobe elements Organizer catalog by using the backup and restore | Photoshop and first Elements 6 or later version

  This process handles to recreate your image file tree where you want, while creating a new catalog of ancient and update of the catalogue for the new location of the file for each image. The location is different even if your folder tree is the same, because the disc is recognized as different.

  If you get the above message, it means that you have not only copied your image files, but you also copied the files of catalogs?

  I guess the hard drive from the old computer is still available? Or is your old computer still work?

  DNG Converter 9.0 will work. You select the folder that contains the raw photos. You are trying to select individual photos.

  If you have had any problems before, repair permissions, restart your computer and try again.  If this does not work, then buy a card reader.  You will get best results when they are still working.
