• Creative Clod Desktop Update stops at 12% - error code 205

  Ongoing for more than a week at least. Creative Clod Desktop tries to update itself and the download stops at 12% each time. No connectivity problem, no firewall problems. Doesn't seem to be a cure. Tried to download the installer standalone and using that, with the same results. Cannot use the desktop application at all, because the only thing that it will let me do is try and fail to install or to quit smoking. Have done all the stuff with removal of the OOBE and stuff to install libraries without success. Just Miller does not download or I would like to do something else with the Desktop Application. Afraid to do the online chat thing and let some Clown from the Adobe Support to operate my computer because in the past they have deleted critical files while I was begging them to the do not.
