  Hello. I use Windows Vista Home Premium for 2009. In the last months, I was faced with a lot of problems and I was wondering if I should re - install the operating system to eliminate the problems or is it better to upgrade to a newer version of Windows?   "Operating System not found"

  This problem may occur if one or more of the following conditions are met:

  • The basic input/output system (BIOS) does not detect the hard drive.
  • The hard drive is damaged.
  • Sector 0 of the physical disk has an incorrect or malformed master boot (MBR) record.

    Note Some third-party programs or the alteration of the disk can damage an MBR.

  • An incompatible partition is marked as Active.
  • A partition that contains the MBR is no longer active.

  Contact the manufacturer of your hardware

  Perhaps your best bet is contact the manufacturer of your computer or your hard drive. The manufacturer may have a utility that you can use to perform a more detailed analysis for the damaged areas of the disk and help verify the correct BIOS settings. However, the damage on your hard drive can be severe. Sometimes, this means that your only solution is to replace your hard drive.

  I did some research using Google, it is possible to use QoS to control bandwidth on wireless networks and wired.

  I use a router WRT54GS v1.1 that has this capability.

  I am wanting to control the bandwidth on my wireless so that my Ethernet (wired) becomes a priority of my internet connection.

  I activated the "Support WMM" option in the configuration of routers (Applications & Gaming).

  Explanations of the router are:

  Exactly how does the QoS wireless? Need details of depth.

  Hi all, I got this working now. It was something to do with the following:

  Current firmware seems to have some bugs, but I will list those in another message

  -J' had to put the IP Address of the default router 192.168.1.1 that the definition of a caused different IP address wireless devices (laptop) does not connect to

  -Setting a different download speed that 'Auto' seems to cause the wireless devices do not connect

  Will post firmware problems in another post to alert anyone who needs to know in order to make the appropriate changes.

  New VM, and I tried to run the converter on a single PowerEdge 860

  The machine has two 500 gig drives.

  60 gigs is used on drive C

  100 GB is used on the D drive

  My problem seems to be when I resize the readers.  I have a conversion failed, or I get error loading operating system if the virtual machine is converted successfully.

  So, I am confused on how to better convert it to avoid having a 1 tera byte vm on my hands.

  Please check the size of the block of data store (Mon). By default that it is formatted with 1 MB which allows 256 GB maximum disk, then try an another lun formatted with 2 MB block that allows to 512 GB disk size limit.

• Help creating a script to delete users specific bunch of disconnection

  Hi guys

  I was wondering if you could help me out, I read in the creation of a script that deletes a bunch of disconnected users.

  I find stuff a lot saying that connection/disconnection hooks are now obsolete but they are still functional in El Cap.

  However my question is in what regards the script itself. I was going to create a shell script logout following the advice on this page http://www.amsys.co.uk/2015/02/delete-keychains-logout/?nabe=5737850786545664:0 but I want to make is specific to a single user, I don't want bunch of our normal users to be affected. This script would be attached to our account by Freelance. It would save me time to clear up after that freelancers have used our kit.

• Satellite P200-RT2 - need help with recovery

  I made a Boo-Boo and need advice/help to get things fixed.

  My husband has a Satellite P200-RT2 running Win XP 32 bit (included with Vista, but had been upgraded). The battery needs to be replaced, does not load and he made the mistake to disconnect while it was closing, but had not closed completely. Laptop computer would not start even in Safe Mode.

  So, I thought to try to insert a disc Win XP Pro thought, he would work to restart the computer and start again. No, he took over and completely restructured the laptop. If great, now have Win XP Pro on it, but can not load all Toshiba drivers that I downloaded from the Toshiba site.

  I was not in a position to know if there is a specific order to load the drivers... have been reading and wonder if the BIOS should be the first?

  Needless to say that the Toshiba recovery software went on the P200-RT2, I can't find a separate drive that supposedly it contains, there are only two listed drives, drive C and D (for DVDs).

  Toshiba tells me that Microsoft sells the recovery software, MS told me that Toshiba sells. There are sites online that have the recovery disc for Vista I could buy or download, but I'm not sure on those that are reliable/safe.

  Have to mention that I have a Toshiba laptop latest (L675 - 40 X, Win 7) and have the recovery disc for it.

  Is it possible to use these recovery disks for Toshiba software loaded on the old P200-RT2?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  I have this problem and it is quite ridiculous and very frustrating. My wife was using an old account of Skype that I linked to his new xbox live ID a couple of years. No problem at all for 2 years and then last week, as the Skype account was suddenly suspended. His only use of Skype is to talk to his mother abroad each week, so I tried to fix it for her.

  I filled out the form but no matter what info I get I get just an email two days later saying my data is not good enough on behalf of output. They suggested that I have create a new account and link this one instead. The problem is that I need to connect to the suspension Skype account on skype.com to untie and forcing me to use perfectly valid MS account my wife to do. This redirects to the Skype account recovery page and this circle completely stupid of pain comes to an end. I need to recover an account that I am not allowed to recover just if he can UNTIE a valid PAY XBOX LIVE GOLD account! This is beyond stupid xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  The appropriate design would allow me to control the Skype done to dissociate from the normal ms account administration pages. This account is - once again - very well. I don't know yet why the Skype account was suspended after 2 years of valid use on xbox it anyway. We do not know what magical details, let Skype admins remove the suspension. I could not even connect to make this post using the account of my wife because it redirects to the recovery page, lol. I am connected using my normal personal gold account. Skype account ID my wife is [private information removed by Moderator] , just in case the admins read this and have mercy on us.

It turns out that someone has used my Skype name as username on a porn site or my Skype with a profile on a pornsite (I am sent me a link, but I didn't open it but the person said that he found me here).   2 usernames cannot be changed, but the Forum names.
