    What "update you"?

    Did you install Adobe Acrobat Reader to thing of error that you were "updated" your version of Acrobat? If so, you should always have Acrobat on your system. Open and use the file > Open to open your pdf files.

    And if it works, you need to change your file associations to use Acrobat to open PDFs instead of the free software Acrobat Reader.

    It is not Microsoft.  It is a peer-to-peer forum populated by those who have questions and especially the volunteers who may have answers/suggestions to solve technical problems.

    You will need to communicate with anyone you contacted before in any method to contact you prior to a response (and are they open Saturday and Sunday?)

    I have a HP Pavilion Elite m9360f 64bits. It is now a little more than three years. I saw that there was a recent update of the BIOS since August 2010 and I would like to know if it would be to my advantage to download and install it. The reason is because of the following: 'The system thermal performance enhances' 'updates fan curve for support processer', there are other things listed also.

    Please advise me please. Thank you.

    Never update a bios unless it's to solve a critical problem that cannot be resolved otherwise. If a bios update fails for any reason, you will have a PC that is not useless and costly to repair.

    If you do not experience any of the following problems, then I say do not do

    • Improving the thermal performance of the system. (You need monitor time processor to determine if you have a heat problem)
    • Fan curve updates for support of the processor. (You don't need this except if you upgrade the processor)
    • Answer to the question with the system seems to hang when restarting if a HP Personal Media Drive is connected.
    • Resolves issue with the system suspended when 7 GB of RAM is installed.
    • Update Diagnostic tools hardware v4880.05.

    You can try the sacking of library user, the InDesign preference files or provide full permissions to the same and then try to start.

    Steps to follow:

    (1) right click on the Finder icon and select 'Go - To Folder' option.
    (2) you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")

    ~/Library

    It will open the folder of the user's library.

    Provide " Read and write" access to the Preferences folder to connect to the user account and administrator and try to run.

    Right-click on the Preferences folder, and then select the GetInfo.

    Expand the sharing & permissions section.

    Click on the padlock icon in the lower corner on the right. Enter your administrator user name and password when you are prompted, and then click OK.

    Please click on '+' symbol, it will open the list of user accounts. Add currently logged in username and administrator option,

    Then indicate ""& read/write " permission currently logged in username and Administrator option."

    Click the gear icon and select apply to closed. Close the dialog box information .

    Always the same?

    Open the Preferences folder and then the folder Adobe InDesign trash and associated files.

    Then try to start.

    first of all, I just want to say that this is the first time, this never happened.  When I want open my muse files and work on them, and then when I do a SPOT of the photo or other, which would open the window would be where the muse files [properly].

    but for some reason strange and frustrating, when I open my file of muse, and then I want to place an object or something else, the command window NEVER opens the folder where the file of muse.  Instead, it now opens in C; ------I have down my files until I found.

    other programs do NOT have this microsoft, adobe CS4 and others.  Muse is the ONLY program that at the moment and I'm really strung on what to do about and my hand starts to fall with all of these boreholes to the good folder whenever I need to access the photos and files in my project of muse.

    Anyone know why this is happening all of a sudden?  Please notify.

    in the Herkeurdatumfield, it automatically displays 10/01/2012

    I would be very happy if someone could help me with this issue!

  • Greek character set - urgent need advise please

    We are working on a project and trying to translate in Greek.

    I have tried all the codes of usual character as follows:

    charset=UTF-8" />
    charset=ISO-8859-7" />

    Unfortunately the game characters are always throw up? (mark points) where certain characters are.

    We have tried and then copy / paste the Greek translated copy of the PowerPoint on our site (coded in php) and hosted on a completely different server and the work of Greek text no problems whats so ever.

    Does have a problem of merger?

    This could be a problem with the host server?

    Please if someone is able to provide even more ideas to try, or a response to help that would be great!

  • When I connect my laptop L300D to my LCD tv using VGA to VGA it works fine for a few minutes then the screens n that the laptop and TV started blinking on and outside. Can someone advise please.

    When I connect my Toshiba L300D laptop to my Samsung 40 inch lcd tv using vga to vga connection it works fine for a few minutes. Then the screens on the laptop and the TV start to turn on and turn off, also jumps around cursor. Can someone tell me what is the problem and how to correct.

    Try changing the VGA cables and check if it helps.

    If the problem persists, then I suggest you to update the firmware.

    Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
