Adware on my device

There is a soft throwing ads in my notification bar and icons randomly appears on my homescreen leading to install app links. Also I get this droid dance logo and then add a full screen or add video appears. (Screenshot attached)

Now I have not installed any apps recently, so I think it's one of the applications already on my phone that is to do. I did an anti-virus avast and nothing came. What should do?

When a rogue notification appears in the status bar with the FRP, press and hold in this document, the notification goes to black with a sign of the Info, ptess still once and see you the APP then generates ADS, uninstall it...

  • Redirection Adware problem

I am new user of MacBook (less than 24 hours) and already makes it painful to use because someone told me there is no virus for Mac, I was carelessly downloading of programs and I am here... My browsers (Chrome and Safari) are double tabs, we repeat just what is already open, and a other advertising. Also, I got pop ups and ads around some sites like imdb or other trusted sites. Now it's better, maybe because I've done a few things to try to remove this, but the redirect is still a huge problem. Here is the results of my diagnosis, I hope someone can help

Click here and follow the instructions, or if it is not a type of adware is covered by them on the computer, these. If you would rather not remove it manually, you can run rather MalwareBytes for Mac.

MalwareBytes is a removal tool and does not stop adware or other malware from entering the computer. What said you is true that viruses are concerned, but does not apply to other types of malware. For effective protection, do not download software from sources other than the Mac App Store or Developer Web sites.

  • After wiping adware Macbook problems?

Two of my installed browsers (Safari & Firefox) were diverted by Trovi and I followed these steps http://https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7407316

Everything seemed okay for about a half hour, then I go to my home page and see this:

This happens on both browsers now and even more strange, some bookmarks send this message but others don't and will connect very well! My internet connection is running. I checked the other devices and they are OK.

I wonder, can I clear my Mac and OS and install a backup I have? Or will the adware and other nasties still exist now? I know Trovi is an adware just, but I'm paranoid enough now because he had misappropriated credit card data settings to automatically fill. I think that my Mac picked up more than just Trovi since I found something called "Elsa", more a few other weird extension. Don't know if it helps, but this all started because my son has tried to download music a bit torrent site and installed what is called "Niceplayer."

Thanks in advance for the help!

And if Linc Davis is around, I would really like to know your opinion.

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.

Difficulty of pop-ups in browser that support Safari.

Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

    Hi angelover08,

    1. have you tried to change the drive letters of removable disks?

If this isn't the case, you can try to change the drive letter designated to removable drives all the other letters other than E, F, G and check if it helps.

    Check out the link:

    Hello

Malware to disable your firewall and your safety programs.

Scan of Malware in Safe Mode with network.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-Windows-in-safe-mode/#Vista

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Boot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

Then, download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware in Mode safe mode with networking:

  • Deleting an account Windows 8 will remove traces of spyware/adware etc?

One of accounts windows 8 has been recently infected with adware/spyware, other accounts show no sign of adware so I guess that this account has been affected. I have installed a number of security such as Malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy programs, and adware seem to have disappeared.

This account and the computer is newly configured, so it's not really a lot of backup and not big thing to lose, but delete/remove this particular account would eliminate all traces of virus/adware/spyware that came with the freeware from cnet doubtful? Or good is the computer to use the services banking etc now, since there is no obvious signs of adware that was once present at 100%?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Juuuce,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community forum.

As described in question, it seems that the problem that faced you account specific user but when you created a new user account and then everything seems to work very well.

I quite agree with you that if new user created account works well then you can delete the old account, but make sure all the important files, data images and information you need from the old account has been moved to the new account or that she has been saved on an external device.

If you are sure that you need no more files, data, images and information from the previous account, then you may delete the account.

Note: If you delete the account, then all files, data, images and information stored on the user account will be lost and you will not be able to recover them.

Hope that I was able to answer all of your concerns. If you have more concerns, please post back and we'll be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
