  I have finally upgraded to El Capitan at last week. I had no problem until today when I downloaded a new Java Update, which I think may have also installed some sort of adware / malware on my system. Since the installation of new advertising tabs open (on both Firefox and Safari) when I click on some normal links on some sites. I also see underlined green links ad on some pages.

  I tried all the tips I can find online, including of Malwarebytes, Avast, reinstall browsers, try a new user, follow the instructions to remove "DownLite" etc. I also checked the LaunchAgent and LaunchDaemons folders in my library, and they seem to be something unusual.

  Any help with this would be much appreciated because it becomes extremely frustrating Apple have advised me to reinstall OS X, but I would try other options first as it may seem a bit drastic!

  You may have installed ad-injecting malicious software ("adware").

  Do not use any type of product, "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" on a Mac. You have already seen that it does not work.

  Save all data first.

  If you are not already running the latest version of Mac OS X, update or upgrade in the App Store you risk adware remove automatically. If you are already using the latest version, please log off or restart the computer. Still, some types of malware will be deleted, not all. There is no such thing as the automatic removal of all possible malware, either by OS X third party software. That's why you can't rely on software to protect you.

  If the malware is deleted in your case, you will still need to make changes to the way you use your computer to protect you from new attacks. Ask if you need advice.

  If the malware is not removed automatically, see below.

  This simple procedure to detect any type of adware that I know. Disabling is a procedure distinct and better still.

  Some legitimate software is funded by advertising and may display advertisements in its own windows or in a web browser while it is running. It's not malware and it may not appear. In addition, some Web sites display advertising intrusive popup that can be confused with adware.

  If none of your web browsers work well enough to carry out these instructions, restart the computer in safe mode. The malware will be disabled temporarily.

  Step 1

  Please triple - click on the line below on this page to select it, and then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

  ~/Library/LaunchAgents

  In the Finder, select

  Go ▹ go to the folder...

  from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + v press return. Open a folder named "LaunchAgents", or you will get a notice stating that the file cannot be found. If the file is not found, proceed to the next step.

  If the folder opens, press the combination of keys command-2 to select the display of the list, if it is not already selected. Please don't skip this step.

  There should be a column in the update Finder window. Click this title two times to sort the content by date with the most recent at the top. If necessary, enlarge the window so that all the content show.

  Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "take a screenshot of a window." An image file with a name starting in 'Screenshot' should be saved to the desktop. Open the capture screen and make sure it is readable. If this isn't the case, capture a small part of the screen indicating that what needs to be shown.

  Start a reply to this message. Drag the image file in the editing window downloading. Alternatively, you can include text in the response.

  Leave the case open for now.

  Step 2

  Do as in step 1 with this line:

  /Library/LaunchAgents

  The record which can open up will have the same name but is not the same as in step 1. In this step, the folder does not exist.

  Step 3

  Repeat with this line:

  /Library/LaunchDaemons

  This time the file will be called "LaunchDaemons."

  Step 4

  Open Safari preferences window and select the tab 'Extensions'. If the extensions are listed, post a screenshot. If there are no extensions, or if you cannot launch Safari, skip this step.

  Step 5

  If you use Firefox or Chrome browser, open the list of extensions and do as in step 4.

  I'm seting of an environment that uses Web-Auth for my cable and wireless. I followed the exact steps in this page of Cisco to run:

  I'm only testing environment wired right now.

  I plug a PC on a port, and I try to access a Web page of randon (for example, www.cisco.com). It is automatically redirected to the authentication page. I type the user name and password, but when authentication is successful, it goes automatically to the https version of the page, which brings me to the problem. I should add an exception (more on this option on the IE Web page) to this page to continue with the authentication and gain access to the internet. I enclose the steps I must perform:

  

  

  

  I think that it is linked to the certificate, but I'm not sure who or where. I would like to get some advice on your part to avoid this problem. I have no intention to buy all certificates, so if I could jump the https would be great.

  If you don't want an official cert, you must go to http only. But this means that people paswords will transit in the clear on the network.

  It's been long that I tried, but not is not remove 'ip http-server secure' do the trick?

  A redirect link would normally have the? elqTrack = true

  Basically, tit delivers with this new track is that it breaks the complex links or redirect the links that include a 3rd party followed. But works fine with Eloqua mergers

  Since our current version, Eloqua has added additional script at the end of all the links redirected causing the URL to break; We have successfully deployed a fix over the weekend to address this problem, and I can confirm this issue now been corrected.

• "The page isn't redirecting properly" problem on Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11

  After installing a piece of hardware that increased the length/power of my wireless connection, and turned on my computer the next day, I loaded the 11 Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, but the two would not load Web pages with a "http://" in front of the 'www. '; they would only Web pages with an "https://" in front of the «www.» This problem occurred with persistence despite me both browsers the reset to the factory settings. I looked at prior to this problem solutions, but none of them does not work (I tried to reset my cookies and that has not worked as well as made sure that the cookies on both browsers have been activated and that didn't work either), for me at least.

  4. I fought with my wife several times because of this problem

• (Redirected) Technical problem with the laptop warranty

  I just bought a new Inspiron 15 700 series in January and in just 2 months it broke down 2 times. I am a student of the University & without my laptop I miss out on a lot of things. I bought dell because that my last laptop was perfect for 4 years & was held without any problem but this laptop is my worst purchase ever.

  I even called customer service, they kept me waiting for 30 minutes, I do not unplug the phone, the person even took my number and then suddenly disconnected call & he never called back. There was no resolution of the issue, I even he asked the number for the Department and the complaint which it did not. The guy on the call was harsh, I told him that the charger is working & he said, how do you know? I was on a call with the Dell customer 1 hour service & there is no solution. I wasn't expecting this from Dell.

  I am very disappointed by the Dell customer service, its quality is deteriorating. I don't have a laptop of these 3 days, I missed an important presentation because of this. A new laptop to fall twice in 2 months & Dell doesn't care. I would never buy a Dell laptop because of this experience, I would never have let someone in my family buy a Dell & I will post reviews of their service to the customer & product on amazon.

  Extremely disappointed with Dell Service & product.

  In the framework running Windows 10 upgrades via the Dell Drivers page, he recommended that I have a flash update the BIOS of my AIO 2720, of A07 to A11. Since I was now three problems:

  1. in the BIOS (or UEFI?) the screen will blink now on and out while I fight see and edit anything.

  2. one of my partitions Windows 10 three (2 on a SSD) and the other on a hard drive also flashes on and outside, but not so fast. I reinstalled Windows 10 three times but nothing helped.

  3. everytime I turn it on, I get an error message saying that the boot device has not been detected and for inviting me to press F1. As soon as I do this - every time - the machine then starts normally.

  I always have a copy of the BIOS original and attempted to go back to that, but the machine won't let me, saying that a later version BIOS is installed.

  As if by chance, and I don't know if this is related, the option of 'sleep' in all three partitions Win 10 inexplicably disappeared after the flash upgrade and is therefore no longer available anywhere.

  I'd appreciate really any guidance. I'm not technical but moderately competent.

  I bought an Inspiron 15, 7548 end of may 2015. I bought to use for work and college classes and bought Adobe PhotoShop Elements and CorelDraw x 7 software (after PhotoShop has not worked) for photo editing. The screen resolution is so high that I see even the buttons program, Windows Picture Viewer and many other programs. They appear in and 1 "x 2" square in the center of the screen). Can I decrease the resolution of the screen with less desirable results. The laptop also freezes at random and must be delivered to work again. There is also a major shift by typing in Word 2013, Facebook, Tumblr & Pinterest. I spent 8 hours trying to get some sort of resolution with all the problems only to be told by Dell support that he's spent 30 days return period and there is nothing they can do to help me. I'm just trying to get this fixed, replaced or repaired (at this point, I would like my money). I can't talk with anyone in the United States (not Dell policy) and do not know where to turn. I started to document (images and videos) many questions that keep appearing daily. Technical support tells me the question with the hi res screen is a known issue and they are sorry but there are no miracle or patches. I even took off from work and led to their location in Plano, TX to try to get ANY kind of help. No luck there. I work inside and many of our technicians look at there, both say there are problems with the laptop.

  Anyone know who I can talk to (a person in the United States would be although I was very missed by India support person I spoke with last) or where I can take the laptop to someone with Dell show what is happening with it? I am at a loss here. I am a mother single life work paycheck to paycheck and spent over $ 1500 on this laptop and the software I can't use. I own a very expensive paper weight now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  After 2 weeks of emails send me other departments to call, live chat get back to someone else, I always have the technical problem.   Nobody can help so they keep passing the ball.   Management worst ever.  I pay to have someone come to my house and to solve the problem... from now on, I will buy from other sources since the 'great support' I was hoping for never materialized.

  I have a big problem, I did the research everywhere, but I guess I might be the only one with this problem.

  I have a 5130 11 Pro and I installed the incorrect firmware for my touchscreen accidentally, I installed the 7000 series Panel Touch Firmware, now when I touch the upper part of the screen the pointer is displayed in the bottom and vice versa. I tried to reinstall the firmware of another origin but nothing works, I tried that Samsung, that of sharp and the generic, I also tried refreshing the Tablet, to start from scratch and remove all the drivers and reinstall them. but nothing works, even when I re calibrate the touch screen it will not work properly.

  Any suggestins.

• Redirect the problem - computer laptop display tablet version instead of the version of office

  I'm having a problem with the wrong version of my site displaying on some devices.  Specifically, the version of the Tablet displays on some laptops instead of the desktop version.  Here's what I observed:

  • Sony Vaio 14 "laptop incorrectly displays the version of the tablet in IE and Edge (Windows 10).  It should display the desktop version.  Screen resolution is 1600 x 900.
  • Computer 14 "Dell laptop displays the desktop version properly in Chrome, IE, and Edge (Windows 10). Screen resolution is 1600 x 900
  • MacBook 13 " correctly displays the desktop Chrome and Safari version.
  • iPhone correctly displays the version of the phone.
  • iPad & iPad Mini display correctly version of the tablet.

  Why Sony Vaio did not display the correct version?

  I use the latest version of Muse 2015.0 and downloaded all files when publishing.

  The Sony Vaio is a hybrid between ultabook and what they call the other rank.

  + It has a good processor and cheep

  -goes flat batty after 2 hours, the keyboard is too small to be useful, and the touchscreen is the lowest bidder... I guess that is why WX called a Tablet

• Redirect Ports problem

  I have a WRT54GS router and I'm trying to forward ports. When I'm the screen forward port on the router, I enter in the ports, try to click on the "Activate" box and get the following message:

  'You cannot use the IP of the router, the network or the Boroadcast address' and therefore, they don' tregister/save.
