  I must be missing something.  In Adobe Illustrator, when you select a layer (or Sub-layer) to copy, is it possible to copy only visible layers and not those hidden?

  When I provide my clients with their final illustrator files, I only want to register the approved artwork.  Currently, I make a copy of the file and go through and delete hidden files, it would be much easier to copy and paste in place visible layers in an Adobe illustrator file.

  Given that your items are grouped, select objects on the artboard should be as effective as Select layers in the layer panel.

• ACR adjustments after merge visible layers

  After I work on photo in LR, I want to open it as a smart object in PS. I'm doing this so that I can continue to make adjustments in ACR. Once in PS, I do typical changes with adjustment layers, still try to work non-destructively. However, at some point I will use merge visible layers (Ctrl-Alt-Shift-E) to do some cleaning pixel-based. Once I do that, it seems that going back to ACR in the object dynamic is no longer an option. Do you know why this is the case?

  I wish l could explain it's "human error" but I have not worked on these affected pages today. I noticed missing items when I went to review the chapter. I worked in the file all day today... and it is very disturbing: I printed these performed 10 pages late yesterday afternoon. I went to retrieve this file in time Machiene, but my backup file also had the same problem of 'ghost elements' (even if it backed up once I have printed, and the impressions were very good). I had to go all the way back to file on Monday, which was pre-re-design of these pages.

  I use InDesign for 8 years and have never encountered a problem like this before. I hope that someone out there!

  You should probably also do a Select All on the page and see if you see single-point stray objects or other objects that you do not (at the time on the screen of the page or in the layers panel). I saw maybe three cases in 8 or 9 years of single point objects with a fill assigned which caused all sorts of behavior strnge. I never managed to create on these intentionally, however.

  I have a vector image which I would like to convert to "connect the dots" image, so I don't need that anchors without segments between them. I deleted all segments and have only anchor points now. My question is how to make unique items visible and printable?

  To get only the anchors: select all, then select > object > poignees handles management, then delete

• How to make the handles visible direct selection on the pasteboard?

  When I go to for transformation/resize images within frames using direct Selection, I don't see the handles of the image because they are white against a white cardboard.  I use InDesign CS5 (ver 7.0.4) on a Mac. I've been using InDesign for a few years and never noticed that it was a problem; all of a sudden, the handles seem invisble. I don't remember what the color scheme was before. (Maybe I'll lose my mind). The colors did not alter an update? There is an option in the preferences to choose the color of the pasteboard, but this does not seem to have any effect. In the meantime, I can't find the handles to resize/convert images. I can enter a percentage to scale, but it is sometimes useful. How to make the handles visible direct selection on the pasteboard?

  If you're talking about the color of a path and its handles, which is dependent on the color of the layer selection. Go to the layers panel. Double-click the currently selected schema and change the selection to something darker color.

This is forcing me to keep files on my computer when I only need part of it and could make my move over much bigger it must be.

  Is it possible to export the individual after their separation clips so that the source files I need to keep is only the part of the clip I need?

  My (sticker at the bottom of the computer) product key is only partially visible, is it possible that I can get all this? I have the proof of license and certificate of authenticity - those who are clearly visible. The product is a HP/Compaq Presario CQ50 running Vista. I know that when I bought the computer, that I should have written down elsewhere product key automatically. I come here is because the MS site has not exactly a section for that!

  I have a book script Adobe Scripting of Chandler McWilliam, I want to use. Essentially, it exports all visible layers in a document open in PS. The script works, but I can't seem to export to a folder/directory of my choice. It is default export to the folder that contains the Photoshop application.

  This is my first ever having to ask a question about the photo shop elements. I want to buy, download and install items 14. My question is. If I do I'll be able to make a physical copy of the software? The reason I ask is because in November last, I had a catastrophic computer crash and after another I could not reload my previous version I had but I contacted Adobe and a tech was kind enough to help me find the problem. So my question because I understand that when you buy and download that you can use it on two computers if necessary. I am grateful for all someone could give me advice. Just one more question. I couldn't just burn the exe file. file to download Adobe on a CD or a DVD?

  Yes, you can download the installation files and save them on a hard drive or disk.

  I have lightroom 5 and sony A77 M2. Finally I solve it myself investigate other positions on the internet on the same subject. I clicked on the part of area of "copy of area" (right of the screen) to the modus of import and the images showed once again. Still don't know why the pictures disappear and hope it was just something that I was wrong somewhere. Before I had multiple tasks (moving files) in the background may cause pressure on system/software.

• The invisible layers using the text returned on visible layers

  I'm working on a newsletter page 8 for a customer. There are 5 versions of the newsletter of new pages 3-6 are common to all the 5 editions, pages 1-2 and 7-8 is unique to each version. I use an InDesign document with 6 layers, 1 layer of background (#1) pour common/story layouts and a separate layer for each version (#2-#6). When laying on the stories of page 7 (a single page) my invisible layers affect the provision on visible layers. I have a story on layer #2 all plotted, so when I move to the layer #3 I disable #2 and light #3 which should give me a blank page to work with. The page appears empty, but when I add my pictures and text, information on layer #3 is being moved by what looks like a build-up of layer #2. Why is this invisible layer affecting the layout on a visible layer? How do I fix this so I don't have to go back and rebuild individually 5 versions? Thank you!
