• What is the best way to customize the skin of the PlayBar?

  Hello

  I need to customize the skin of the PlayBar and put our new totally brand design.

  I know that the default skin files are found under folder Templates. Should I take one of these fla files and customize it with our new model?

  I have another option in my mind, but do not know if it works. I guess I can hide the playback bar and create my own buttons on the stage and in this way can build the scene with my own reading bar control.

  Do you think one is better? I need your comments.

  The question is not so much what you CAN do with buttons in Captivate to replace the PlayBar, but what one MUST do one way or the other.

  It must be remembered as it is currently impossible to add interactive objects such as buttons to master slides or quiz question slides. So if you do not create your own playback bar customized with all the keys you need, you will end up having to replicate the same button, set each slide of your project, which is a lot of buttons to maintain. But then when you get to your quiz slides, you will not be able to add same buttons here.

  So if you have the resources to customize your own reading bar, which seems to be the best option from a perspective of low maintenance.

• WebCenter spaces 11g: Customize a skin

  I'm trying to customize a custom look & feel of Toilet spaces for a customer. Based on owcs_r11_custom_taskflow_wp.pdf, we created a new skin and deployed. If you enable this skin in Toilet areas, you will see the new look & feel, but with missing images as the background of the top menu, rounded background images images etc... I checked the .rar file, this file includes also about images.
  
  Some information about it:
  -We use ExtendWebCenterSpaces.
  -skin regarding lies in the CustomSkin project, under folder of olive trees.
  -the images are found in the olive/images folder.
  
  Can anyone know how this can be solved or any other suggestions/documentation?

  To customize the BEEP homepage, you must edit the 'login.jsp' file that is located in the following location

  D:\Middleware\OBI\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\tmp\_WL_user\bipublisher_11.1.1\gyyvtu\war

  (This is the location of my installation configuration and it may be different on your side)

  File open login.jsp and search for file "oraclelogo" image and you will find the location of the source of the logo file.

  Place your new logo image to the location of the source and edit your file login.jsp accordingly.

  Similarly, search for "BI Publisher" and rename your company new brand name.

  Next:

  Navigate to the location

  D:\Middleware\OBI\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\bipublisher\repository\Admin\Translation

  Search for the file "XMLP_en_US.xlf".

  You can search for "BI Publisher" and rename your company new brand name.

  Please note that you must change your 'target' name and don't change the name of the source.

  In the instructions you listed, he wants that you open the component list of the scene. It apparently no longer works. Open the library window and you will see the list component. • Customization of skin to CP5

  Hello - my team is heavy users of 4 CC.  We use it create demos and software training.

  I'm testing CP5 to see if we want to upgrade.

  We have a custom of the bars reading that we use regularly for our projects of brand.  In CP4, it was pretty easy to do because the flv files are available and you can easily put the playback bar swf published to the folder in the folder of the gallery and have it as an option in the settings of your skin.

  However, with CP5 reading published bars seem to .ini and not .swf files.

  It seems that you can bind a playback .swf bar, if you click on widgets - so you get the selection of registered here swf files: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5\Gallery\Widgets\Playbars

  So I put my PlayBar swf published to this folder.  However, it does not appear in the options.  Then through the widget toolbar, he chose and nothing happened... probably because it is not a widget?  Or is it?  What makes a widget, a widget, and not only an animation?

  Also when I do choose one of the prefab widgets and choose the option "insert" it just that she pours on the first slide.  So should I assume that if you want to use a widget as a playback bar, it will not appear on the skin and you should choose to not display a bar to reading in the settings of the skin, and then select "Show the rest of the project" on the widget inserted on your first slide?

  You seem to be confusing paths. Your first message contained the following path:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5\Gallery\Widgets\Playbars

  Now, you mention a path:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4\Gallery\PlaybackControls\SwfBars\

  The old path seems to be a 64-bit system. Mine has this path and I am using Windows 7 64 bit. I could take on Vista 64-bit systems also have this way too. Uncertain of XP.

  I know a lot of things Captivate 5 changes as he has been rewritten from the ground up. Sorry, but I'm not sure exactly where you must copy the custom SWF file so that it appears. I hope that Adobe or another user of the forum with some experience in this area will chime.

  I was wondering how to customize the user of OBIEE 11.1.1.9.0 interface.

  For earlier versions, there was a guide to go to different folders by default and exemplary, adjust and modify your HTML, CSS, or XML files.

  I was reading the new style/skin of skyros, but I can't find a guide how to customize this skin and style.

  The 11.1.1.9.0 version of OBIEE isn't the same folder structure as the 11.1.1.7.xx version (where you set the fusionfx or blafp styles and skins), so I'm a little lost around that.

  So someone has more information about the customization of skyros /11.1.1.9.0 styles and skins?

• FlashHelp skins with no animation?

  My company uses FlashHelp to produce a manual in our product line. FlashHelp work because it is fully cross-platform, unlike WebHelp (which breaks in Safari). Unfortunately all of the skins included in FlashHelp have superfluous animations that require the user to wait for their content. For example, if you click on a book that contains a lot of topics, you must wait while FlashHelp displays slowly all. It should display all the topics * immediately *. Also, most of the pelts have unnecessarily long loads (while the skin goes in the space of about 5 seconds - it should make it as fast as possible) and annoying animations when you click on a topic.
  
  My question is this: is there a FlashHelp skins that not have animations (or 1 second animations), but instead are more similar to WebHelp? If this is not the case, can I customize existing skins for not having all the animations? I checked the FlashHelp SDK directory and it included the fla files for buttons and toolbars, but I didn't see any chronology of video clips. Is it possible to manually delete these animations? I hope, because many of the skins look pretty nice - they just force users to watch movies, that they do not want to see.
  

  I doubt that Flash skins are entirely without animations animation being the main point of Flash. You can edit the .fla files yourself if you have Flash. I did it with our skin because one of our clients don't like the help system to be flashy (pardon the pun), but I still like using FlashHelp, because I can customize it, and it is cross-platform. Instead of using the SDK, however, I usually generate the output first using skin from the gallery that I want to go, such as the slate and then change the .fla files in the. SkinSubFolder! Directory in my file of the project.

  Here's a specific example. skin_textNode.SWF makes the text like the blade of TOC entries in the right for the display and back out when hidden. I got rid of it by following these steps:

  1. open skin_textNode.fla in Flash and double-click the 'Label' object on the stage to get the timing.
  2 Select the object again and click on the first keyframe in the timeline panel. Property inspector gives me the exact coordinates of the location of the object (X: Y: - 0.8, 0.2).
  3. click on the next keyframe, click once on the object and enter the same coordinates.
  4. make on all the keyframes where the Label object is in a different location in the first keyframe.

  After doing this, when I export the movie and see in help, the elements in the table of contents just down from the book containing instead of sliding back, reducing the load on the time a little.

  If you get rid of some unnecessary animations in the toolbar buttons and so forth, I think this reduces load time a little more down. I just opened one of my systems, and it takes 3 seconds from when I click on 'Help' in the application. (Some of this, I think, is the scripts have run). Just the basics of Flash you need to twist the skin and get rid of some of the 'flashy '.
