  The initial view (IV) parameters are not part of the options when you create a new PDF, either in Acrobat or the Distiller.

  There are several options to apply IV depending on the version of Acrobat you are using. You can create an Action in Acrobat X that applies IV to any file open according to your needs and possibly save it as well. In Acrobat 9 or an earlier version, you can do a similar thing with a sequence of batch process.

  If you need to reach IV in the context of the creation while you can use a "epilogue.ps" script to add commands that Distiller will add to the PDF and link PS file to one of the presets of distillery distillers.

  I tried to find a solution for this and you guys were great to help me b4 I thought I should give it a go.
  I have an IR on my page so I would be able to jump to the last page by default when the page loads - the aggregation IR are visible.
  So, is it possible to configure the IR on the last page of a default display?

  Unfortunatelly the provided script does not work in my page and my javascript skills are only at the base, I'll try to look through to see if I can use the idea.

  I think the problem is that you cannot know which is the last page of the report.
  Today, it could be page 5 tomorrow with different data or with different line settings as page 74.

  In my view, there are a few variables APex you can use after the report is retrieved, but not before it. The downside is even if it works you need to retrieve all the data from the database and treat it on the client. Generally, it is better (faster =) to allow the database to process all the this stuf data. It is what it is good.

  I often have similar wishes of my users. There are several ways to work around the problem.

  (1) create a second report (region) that shows just the money. Downside is that the same query is executed twice and that some filters are not considered.
  (2) use pure SQL. Add a line for the TOTAL and order the report so that this line is on the top.

  example for this

  so, you want to add a countdown for the ID and a sum for wages. If the ID is never null you can do like this

  The double parenthesis after the rollup are important to define the group.

  This is a simplified request there are better and more detailed versions if you switch group by rollup to group sets. But I don't want to go into too much detail now.

• How can I keep a table on one page when I am editing?

  I have created a text block and adding a table on a landscaped page. The table takes only about half of the vertical space of the text block. To half way down, I type in the cells. When I add an additional line (not an extra tier, as I said I am changing the content in the cells) cell I type in and all cells under disappear and I can see them only by adding a new page image and text and linking text blocks. I want to keep the table on 1 page and be able to modify the inner text and resize the rows and columns as needed. HOW???

  Check that the master page element is not set to prevent substitute also. Go to the main spread and select the folio of problem, choose Pages > Master Pages... and make sure that allow point Master overrides on selection is checked. MP articles that are protected do not have the framework dotted on the pages when show the contours of the block is selected.

  And make sure that you have not inadvertently duplicated the folio on the page or master page.

  In fact, I went and installed the printer myself on a computer that is running Windows 7, and you're right, that option is not listed.

  I was able to install another pilot who was in fact the option.

  Here are the steps on how to install another driver:

  1. Make sure that the USB cable is not connected to the product. If the USB cable is connected to the product, unplug it.

  2. In the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), and then click devices and printers.

  3. Click Add a printer. The Add Printer window.

  4. Click Add a local printer.

  5. Click use an existing port.

  6. Click the drop-down list use an existing port , select LPT1: (Printer Port), and then click Next.

  7. Under manufacturer , in the installation of the printer driver window, click HP .

  8. Under Printers, select the appropriate driver to spare for the product (Deskjet 990c), and then click Next.

     NOTE: The other pilot of HP of your product might not be currently installed on your computer, but it is available via Windows Update. Click the Windows Update button to select additional printer drivers. Select the driver replacement for your product and then click Next. You must connect to the Internet before using Windows Update.

  9. In the printer name text box, type the name of the product, and then click Next. The printer driver starts the installation process.

     NOTE: The substitute driver name appears in the window as the default name. If you prefer, you can change the name of your product. This step is optional.

     Once installation is complete, a message appears on the computer indicating that the product has been successfully added.

  10. In the message window, click done.

  11. Plug the USB cable into the product and connect the USB cable to the computer. An software device driver is not properly installed window opens.

  12. Click close ( ) to close the window.

  Since the Deskjet 990c driver is installed, follow these steps to configure the installed driver.

Move the mouse to the right until the name of the port is visible.

  4. Click OK.

  One of the possibilities for your deliverance is a questionable feature on by default in Windows 10, changing your default printer to be everything you've printed on last.

  Go to the Windows 10 Settings of the PC and from there, select Printers & Scanners. Note the option to Let Windows manage my default printer. Make sure that this option is set to Off which is not the default. Once you set this option to Off, then set the driver Adobe PDF as a default. Windows hide more with her!
