After awhile java.exe is the CPU at 100%

Hello!

I have a problem with the java.exe in the environment in which I work. In the environment, I have a physical server: Sun Fire X 4100 Server with 2 processors and 16 GB of RAM for control of virtualization. On the system, this is the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter and vCenter 5.5.

For the most part, we are 5 guys in the team who use the vSphere Web GUI. We are connecting to the server using RDP and after some time, we can not connect because the CPU is at 100%. It takes 20-30 minutes to be able to connect. And then 5-10 minutes to be able to click on something. For example, to kill the java.exe file keeps the CPU at 100%. This isn't a good idea because afterwords the Web GUI does not work so we need to restart the server.

Anyone of you have any idea why this is happening?

Bogdan

Sorry! I can't see the part about it being the physical server... which version of VC is this?

Running Windows XP, I often setup.exe keeping the CPU at 100% for at least a few minutes... this process can be completed or ignored?

"Setup.exe" is a generic term used by many applications.  The short answer is 'yes', it's OK to complete the process, but you really need to know what it is and why it continues to run.

You probably need to download, install, update and run these free malware scanner (not at the same time):
    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

If that is not fix things, and assuming that this process begins when you start the computer, download, install, and run Autoruns.  When Autoruns has finished scanning, click the 'Connection' tab and look for the line that contains "setup.exe".  You can just uncheck the box on the left, or remove the item, which will prevent the routine of starting when Windows starts.

Preferably, however, you should look at the path containing setup.exe where you should be able to deduce what application is trying to set itself up.  You can then take the appropriate measures, which may be simply delete the folder that contains the file.  Note that if you delete the file, you must ALSO remove the line in Autoruns, otherwise you will get a "file not found" error every time Windows starts.

  • Portege will extinguish after iTunesphotoprocessor.exe gets the CPU to 100% usage

    Hi all

I am having a problem with my Toshiba Portege and sync with my iPad2.

I'm syncing large amount of photos to my iPad, when synchronization progess is at the stage of optimization photos iTunes runs two processes iTunesphotoprocessor.exe and the CPU usage is 100%.

The Toshiba fan then runs at full speed until the immedialtey of the computer turns off.
It is not a normal shutdown of Windows 7 64-bit. It's an energetic power loss, while the Toshiba is on a/c.

I can reproduce the same with my iPhone 4.

I thought I should use a USB hub with an adapter separated instead, unfortunately, there is no difference.

It is not only synchronize photos that it occurs also when I sync movies and only iTunes.exe running at 100% CPU usage.
Which brings me to the conclusion that the iPad draws a lot of power of the Toshiba until the laptop is on its knees.

I use external drives (not USB powered) and can copy a lot of data without any problem.

Perhaps worth mentioning that I have improved the Toshiba two months ago for Windows 7 64 bit and installed all the 64-bit drivers found here on the forum with the upgrade of the BIOS.

    Any hint is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

In my opinion this has nothing to do with the power supply or the power adapter plugged.
The iTunesphotoprocessor.exe belongs to the iTunes software and in my opinion this software highlights the laptop CPU s that cause automatic shutdown!

This means that it is not a problem of laptop but the Apple software.
I m not sure if it s a compatibility issue with 64-bit Windows system, but he s certainly an iTunes problem

So, in my opinion, you need to reinstall this software to see if that would help
You can uninstall this software from the system and could clean the registry with CCleaner, it helps to clean the registry
After that and after new restarts, you can try to install a version compatible 64-bit iTunes maybe it helps

The list file you most often is a process associated with Norton 360. However, malware is sometimes assumed the names of the legitimate files in order to deceive the end user. Norton is a Devourer of known system and as a result, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he is a legitimate file in your case. However, I recommend you download, to update and scan with Malwarebytes and Superantispyware, just to be sure. If the scans do not detect the file and the problem persists I would contact Norton or remove Norton making sure to use the tool to uninstall do.

  • Read the CPU hits 100% in the FIFO usage

I have a PC in real-time with a card of RIO 7833R. I write the values that I read a microphone in a FIFO at a sampling rate of 4 kHz.The length of the FIFO is 2048. The PC in real-time, when I call 'FIFO read' function to read say 400 data samples, the use of CPU time real PC hits 100%. Why is it so? The function 'Read FIFO' is placed inside a while loop.

    Thank you

    Prashant

    Hi Prashant,

Reading the FIFO is a method of querying, so if the number of elements specified to read are not available when the method is called, it queries the FPGA until they are.  This causes the CPU to 100% usage. You can find more information on this subject and a way around this here.

    ClientMachine Local

Help! I have spent HOURS trying to understand this point and cannot!

    Thank you

Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click on everything and see if there are lists of iTunes.  If so, clear the checkbox to remove the starter.  Check the complete list in case there is more than one entry.  When finished (if you foind alone), reboot and see if the problem persists.

Download Revo and use it to uninstall iTunes http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/revo-uninstaller/revouninstaller.html.  He is able to find and to perform an uninstall, then restart and see if the problem is resolved.  If he could not find or uninstall iTunes do not bother with the reset - it did not work.  Try to reinstall iTunes and then uninstall with Revo instead of Vista uninstalling the program to see if that makes a difference.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Double-click the error message in the event viewer, and it can provide premanente details that can help us find the problem.  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.petri.co.il/vista-event-viewer.htm. Display any additional information that you will learn (if any).

In the Task Manager when you see the running process, try clicking on it and then click end task.  Is there any task containing more than 10% of the CPU at all times - if so, what?  I assume that you have already tried it and a new process starts just 10 seconds later.

The above information is useful in telling us that iTunes seems to be the cause.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

What about a network card and the part of the BIOS? Help!

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

Try restarting your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

If the problem does not persist, I you suggest to restart the computer to return to normal boot and then run Autoruns by downloading it from the following link:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Once Autoruns runs in the computer, it will show the use of the processor by the exact process names. I suggest you to respond with the names of your higher CPU processes.

If the situation is the same in safe mode, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and try to run hardware diagnostics on the computer.

    Thank you.

  • I can't find the fix_svchost.bat file update. The svchost.exe process is spiking the CPU at 100% after the computer crashes.

Original title: I can't find the fix_svchost.bat file update.

I'm in you process of having my computer running faster. The svchost.exe process takes 100% of cpu memory and computer dthe freezes. A friend of mine told me a method to solve the problem, but I can't find the fix_svchost.bat update. I went to microsoft update center and don't find any results at all, and I don't know another place to look for. I think that the update does not even exist.

I could send you a fix_svchost.bat file, but I don't think it's the starting point.

What you need to do is run a few respectable scans for malware first, and then see if any of you are your svchost.exe process is still badly behave.

Behind each of the svchost.exe process that see you in the Manager of tasks can be one or more process of XP you have to be running, but malware is KNOWN to imitate or hide behind a svchost.exe process, so you won't be able to see in Manager tasks.  You have to outsmart it.

First yo should make a reasonable effort to eliminate malware, and then start troubleshooting - not the other way around.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs at:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

These comprehensive analyses can take some time, but you really need to run.  SAS will probably be just a bunch of Internet tracking cookies, but you can remove them.  Once you have done at least a full analysis, you can do quick scans in the future to save time and save the analyses complete for when you have more time or are really suspicious of an infection of the system.

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

In 1985, there were 11 known computer viruses.  Today, there are over 70,000 and new threats are detected every day.  Always update your virus definitions before running a scan.

  • After you install an update from the CPU to 100% usage

I installed an important update for Win 7, it was for forefront security. After the installation was successful, I saw that my CPU usage went to 100% and the memory above 70 %s. In the Task Manager, I saw around 50-100 process rundll32, and also a lot of wermgr.exe. I tried to uninstall the update, but the problem is that I can see that update my update history (control of configuration\systeme and Security\Windows Update\View update history) but when I want to uninstall that I don't find it in the installed updates. Please help me how to get back to the original on my laptop configuration. This problem heat intensely my laptop and I fear that it could damage my system.

  • Igfxupdate.exe forces the cpu to load 100%

Recently, my cpu load @ full, when open the Task Manager it remains cool. I couldn't find IGFXupdate.exe job manager. When deleting the file in the windows folder, it activates by itself once the Task Manager is closed. Please someone find a solution to my problem... Even google is looking for the answer...

    Thank you

Hi, after several hours of attempts, I think I finally found the culprit:
most likely a Trojan Generic 792778 of KDV, it claims to be the windows service "Search Indexer" and it creates the executable file false: 'igfxupdate.exe' who tries to connect to the internet and increases cpu load all the time until you open the Task Manager to hide...
So I solved the problem like this:
in the windows services management console, I disabled the above fake windows service (he was in automatic start mode) and after I deleted the igfxupdate.exe file in the windows system32 folder...
I restarted the pc and I deleted the same service with the command: "sc delete SearchIndexer '...
problem solved! CPU back to the normal level, no more connections and no more files igfxupdate autour...
in any case, for more security, it is best to also do a full scan with a good antivirus/malware software

  • stop DC-source after awhile and then begin the pressure measurements

I don't think that what I want is so difficult, but I have very little experience with labview.

I generate a continuous voltage for a period of time. After the time of the source voltage must become zero and pressure measurements must begin.

In vi, I did the steps start at the right time, but the source never generates a voltage.

I placed a picture of the diagram as an attachment. There is nothing in the case if the value false.

The while loop ends after the time to reload, and then the case would become true.

The part related to PXI1Slot2 for the source and the part related to PXI1Slot3 for measurements. (But as I said, there is no problem with my measurements, the DC-source is my problem)

I know that I can use the source because I can do generate a voltage if I place the part related to PXISlot2 on its own to a vi.

Both sides in the case structure should arrive in a certain order? As they are it is unclear who will take place in what order.  If they must be in order, use the wire of the error to force the order or try a sequence structure to put them in order in consecutive images.
