  • A website I'm working on that would take about 1 minute for Site Preview in the browser. The same site, after the update of 2015 takes now up to 7 minutes of preview in the browser. This applies to all sites, the largest site, the longer the delay.
  • Adding an image would take a few seconds to implement now, it may be up to 30 seconds or more.
  • Highlighting a chart area or text box results in similar delays.
  • Loading a page in the chart window will take at least 30 seconds or more.
  • Preview a site in Google Chrome - page loading lasts up to 3 minutes.
  • Preview a site in Safari - loading pages lasts up to 3 minutes each, the scrolling is fragile.

  Basically, what I could do in 1-2 hours before the update can take throughout the day now, if I can perform a task at all.

  Suggestions (with the exception of the most recent purchase Mac ) to speed up the update of Muse 2015?

  Scientific tests not here, but I think that the creative cloud App can have some influence here.

  I've been playing with the firewall settings after discovering the CC tried to synchronize files - which would take approximately 47 hours! Hmmm.

  After pausing synchronization CC disable firewall from Apple, then juggle some more with it and turning back on, I noticed a speed immediately gain Muse and the problems that I said that I had. Not to say that it is suddenly fantastic once again, but I'm now at a point where the Muse is still usable.

  Also, I had the bad evil with flow here in Indonesia. No more.

• Internet MacBook becomes very slow

  THE PROBLEM

  A week ago from the internet on my Macbook has become very slow. Web sites load then, but it may take up to five minutes on some occasions, or even longer. This happens systematically 10 seconds to 5 minutes after the connection to the web. At first everything is super fast, then all pages/apps using the internet starts to turn.

  ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS

  • Replaced the modem & router: I bought a new modem-router combo to replace my original separate modem and router, no change in question.
  • Tried a third modem/router: a friend gave me his modem router to try and the same issue. (In both cases I had my ISP to update the MAC address)
  • Tried other devices: I tried the connectivity to other devices (iphone & ipad) and found no problem. Speedtest app appears 32mbps to the low and 5 Mbps + constantly.
  • Tried another browser: was using firefox, I tried Chrome - same question. In addition, any application on my computer using the web runs slowly, no browsers only.
  • Tried to connect to the Internet through direct ethernet modem: no improvement
  • Tried to restart the computer and the modem/router: it is 7 + times for two days with no change
  • Tried to connect to the web via a mobile hotspot on my phone: problem persists.
  • Updated my computer and all applications: no change
  • I started in safeboot and the problem disappeared

  You did a great job trying to fix this yourself! Given that the problem didn't occur in safemode, our next step is to check your login items. Please follow the instructions below:

  Important: To print these instructions, click the Share button in the Help window, and then choose print.

  Test your login items

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.

  2. Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.

     Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.

  3. Select all the elements of connection, and then click the button Delete .

  4. Choose the Apple menu > restart.

  5. If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.

     If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.

• Typing becomes very slow in Firefox 3.6.11 in Mode safe mode with all extensions and plugins disabled.

  When I first start Firefox, all right. And everything is fine as long as I type in the text boxes on any web page. I can type in the address bar or search throughout the day with no problems.

  But, for example, just by typing in the edit box to ask this question on this site will result in the problem after I typed more say 150 characters.   This sounds like it may be related to a power management.  Looks like it's to reduce the performance of the material to save batteries.  This is a normal behavior with laptops, but it can become a nuisance if someone does not create a power plan that does not take account of this.

  Go to start, search for food options and open this result.

  Click on Show additional plans.  There should be a plan for high performance.  This plan will be favourable performance during the conservation of battery, so your battery charge may not last as long.

  When you run the uninstall program, it allows to uninstall all versions of Flash Player.

  When you reinstall Firefox it always uses your old profile with all the old things that you had. That said, you're lucky, there is a new feature that lets you "Reset" of Firefox. This will remove some of the pieces that might cause problems while it keeps your bookmarks and other important things safe.

  Last week did a cleaning installation (windows 7) on my old laptop.

  (the material is not good enough for an update for windows 10)

  At the beginning everything was fine and some updates have been installed.

  However, after the installation of "Windows 7 Service Pack 1 for x 64 systems (KB976932)" the trial was kept updated search forever and the laptop became also very slow.

  Try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting.   Using the system restore option is most appropriate when your system is slow and you need to increase the free disk space on your C partition.   If more than one person uses the computer and they have their own user log you need to run Disk Cleanup in each user profile that you want to delete all the unwanted files.

  A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. Delete System Restore points may be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments.

  cCleaner comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.
