  You have discovered the problem with the reference files.  If your machine is unable to find the file to which it refers, things do not work.  And where are the things that reference your file.  They are at home!

  The ONLY time you can use the reference files is on the same machine.  I would say that you should NEVER export reference files.  There are too many things that can go wrong with them.

  Re-export your files at home.  Do NOT reference files.  Getting them to work.  See what's happening.

• Dreamweaver CC 2015 crashes when saving file, when you choose Save as is no problem

  I use windows pro 8.1 and I upgraded from Dreamweaver CC CC 2015, now when I want to save a file, Dreamweaver still crashes and I have to force it to stop.

  When I choose Save under is not a problem, I didn't have that before with dreamweaver CC, but I also had with Dreamweaver CC 2014 (I didn't not use this version of 2014 due to this problem)

  My files are saved on a NAS drive.

  Does anyone have a solution?

• After effects CC2014 crashes when I try to open any project

  While I was working today, After Effects crashed and gave me the messages displayed below, and now I get the same messages (with a different < 3236 > number) whenever I try to open a project. I have tried rebooting, uninstalling/reinstalling After Effects, purging the memory and all of the cache manually, uninstall the plugin only I installed in the last days (element v2.0.7), using the file > open menu (instead of opening recently) command and the opening of the Explorer; I have not updated any drivers, or anything else today. I can open these same projects on other computers without any problem, both on PC and Mac. And I can import a project, works normally, then save and open this new project, but I don't think safe to do this for important/big projects. I also now lost for an hour and a half waiting for someone in the chat to.

  My specs are:

  Windows pro 8.1

  Asus P9X79

  Base i7 3930 k 6

  48 GB of ram

  Double GTX 780 ti

  First launch After Effects and uncheck the box (if enabled) Mersury delivery option in the Edit menu > Preferences > video previews

  Also in the Edition Menu > Preferences > Previews, check in the GPU information. If it is on the GPU for CPU part or else ignore.

  Try to rename the folder After Effects OLD_After effects on the slot location. Make sure that After Effects is closed.

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe

  AppData is a hidden folder.

  Background and problem:

  I have Adobe Premier, a week or two there, and after it opens and 'sneaking around to' less than five minutes, I not did something with it. (especially to me being sick or out of town). But now today I tried to use it, and it crashes before I can get anything done. I should also mention that a month or two before I was upgraded to Windows 10 8... Against my will.

  In any case, here is what happens in Adobe PPCC, step by step:

  1. I opened the program, and it starts in 30 seconds at 01:30.

  2. I go to the window at the bottom left. Right-click. Select Import. Then choose the folder of videos that I need for my first project.

  3. the PRO 'importer status window' for 2-3 seconds (empty bar). This message "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.2 has stopped working".

  4. the strength of the application closes.

  (I have nothing else on except Skype, a tab in chrome which is idling to Facebook in case I get a message and my files).

  What I've tried so far:

  1. download version 10 of Windows of my NVIDIA drivers.

  -Do not be a tech guy, I don't know exactly what pilots do. But I'm sure they have something to do with GPU and these three letters of its important.

  2. go in the "Project settings" settings and change "Renderer" to "Mercury Playback Engine acceleration (CUDA) GPU' on"Mercury Playback Engine software only"."

  -Even once, do not know what all of that means... But an online guide says what to do... I tried.

  3 restart my computer.

  4 pray.

  So far, no luck on anything whatsoever.

  Comp Specs: (I apologize in advance for what either unserviceable or missing)

  Try this:

  -Disable your NVIDIA card in Device Manager. (Right click on the map to disable)

  -Restart your computer

  -Check if the problem persists

• Crashes when importing files Canon C300

  I can not import raw images C300 multimedia browser or click and drag in first Pro CC 2015. Even if I try to import a clip at the same time I get the error serious message every time and then it crashes. Continue in software Mode on the GPU, always falls down.

  The same method works very well in CC 2014. It works if I transcode to ProRes footage, but the point of first use is that I don't have to transcode.

  Someone had the same problem import C300 media? I know that people are having big problems with AVCHD.

  This issue should be addressed in the first Pro CC 2015.0.1 update released today. Check the creative Cloud for the update application; you will need to close and reopen to get the update appear.

• After Effects CS6 crashes when you try to use the Preferences submenu

  I have a problem with AE "freeze" or lock in place when you try to use under preferences submenu items. I have to stop with the Task Manager to regain control. I have a PC wintel with 8 GB RAM and 2 TB of disk and a quad-core, do not think that any of those who are a problem. AE is the only child of problem in this entire suite. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

  That does not meet the system requirements and I think it's safe to say thatr it is the reason for the accident - the program seeks to draw the preferences panel in an invalid area because it cannot properly address the resolution of the screen too small. Increase the screen resolution and everything will probably work.

• CS5.5 / Win: Indesign crashes when importing an rtf file

  Hello

  My plugin crashes when importing an rtf file. Most rtf work very well, but it's not OK. If I try to import Indesign crash. Also if I try to manually place in Indesign.

  I think that something is wrong in the rtf, but I can open it in Word.

  Any ideas what to do?

  Can I perform a check in advace?

  By the way: I can't save my RTF presets in Indesign. No idea why?

  It does not work without my plugin. InDesign crashes also without it, if I placed the RTF manually.

  In the meantime, I found a sequence in my RTF which is the cause of the accident. I fixed that manually, and after that I could import the RTF. It seems that it is a problem of the RTF import filter.

  The uncorrected RTF was imported to Indesign CS3, after that it crashes (CS4, CS5, CS5.5).

  I met a relatively urgent problem that I hope someone can help me with. I do a video in after effects cs4 for a customer using sequences captured in HDV split this show as .m2t files. I edited with these files in after effect before, but now all of a sudden when I go to file-> import and select the file, I get an immediate "after effects error: could not import the file '... "type of file unsupported of extension.

  I also noticed that it wouldn't let me import the .mpg files however import .mov without problem.

  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

  Nope. There is a 9.0.3 update. Try installing that. After trying that, let us know if you're still having problems.

  Also, you say that you have imported the .m2t files before. Try with a file that was successful before so that we can exclude the possibility that the files you were trying today are not damaged or wrong somehow.

• After effects error: could not import the 'Sweet CC Beta.jsx': type of file not supported or extension.

  OK, so that is the problem. I wanted to try the all new beta after effects candy but when I try to open the file it just straight up with the error in the title. I'm on a MacBookPro running the Mavericks. Does anyone else have this problem?

  You do not open a jsx file, run you from the file > Scripts menu. Just give a try.

• some after effects 2015 questions

  I'm having some problems with after effects 2015 which I was hoping someone might be able to shed light on:

  1. when I Composition - add to the queue of media encoder - I get an error message AEDynamic link server, adobe media encoder is not installed (it is) I tried to reinstall once or twice and no cigar. I'm on PC and the software is installed on my D: drive not C:

  2. when exit MXF OP1a - file XDCAMHD 50 PAL (4:2:2), which is the format that I deliver to television stations, AE 2015 shows a shift of parameters and resizes pictures 1440 x 1080 - AE 2014 did not do that, so I'll have to go back to doing my final output 1920 x 1080.

  3 preview, audio not playing not for the first second or so when he was at first, which is a bit irrititating. What is worse still space does not stop reading again - I am wanting to stop the playhead to the point of his place, so I know the frame to beat match a cut, but space does not, and escape takes to the starting point, once more I had to come back in 2014 to make some images to the music of time

  I have a new win 7, LR 5.7. Loads very well and I have successfully imported 1 time. Now it crashes when importing. I uninstalled and reinstalled LR and it imported 1 times successfully and againf now it will not matter a second time. Help, please.

• After Effects constantly crashing

  I have this annoying problem that I don't know if began to arrive after the last update, but it was everything works OK until After Effects started crashing everytime I click on and drag a layer in my computer. Move everything from one place to the other. The same thing happens if I want to move a media file from the Finder to the model project, I click, drag and the application crashes on the trail. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall and the problem persists.

  Anyone?

  I deleted my user preferences on my OS and now everything works as it should.

• Updated October 2014 CC causes crash when importing OBJ.

  I tried to import a file (created in c4dr16, registered as a .obj file) OBJ AE CC 2014 to be used with Trapcode Form plugin. without fail, it causes AE crash when importing.

  I tried going through the menu import by dragging the file into the prj with the same results - crash.

  Connection to all media via the network of servers uptairs.

  You will need to take up with the red giant / Trapcode. That being said, C4D outputs simply crappy OBJ files. Download Blender, open your file in there and export it again as an OBJ file much better.
