  The latest version of After Effects that could run on a 32-bit system was After Effects CS4.

  You must have a computer capable of running an operating system of 64-bit like the last Apple OS 10 - which the cat name they are so far, the Ocelot or something? -or Windows 7.

  Now, when you get the floppies to install Creative Suite CS5, Adobe thoughtfully includes previous versions of 32-bit first and AE.  But because you pay all these new bells of 64-bit & whistles, it seems kinda stupid, not doesn't it?   It is designed as an interim measure.

  Go get yourself a new computer and the operating system.  And if you can't, put up with what you have.

  Personally, I had to wait 9 months before I could afford a new 64-bit machine.

  What is the operating system that you are using? First pro and After effects requires 64-bit processor and operating system. If you have the 32-bit processor or operating system it does not display these applications in the list.

Recently, which means simply this project I get this error "after effects error: incident occurred while invoking the plugin effect"Looks"." whenever I try to make. If I try to remove the clip where it messes up and replace it with another it will mess just straight up in another place.

  Open GL: My open gl is not enabled

  I have read other forums and watched tutorials. I did the following. (Not in the used order)

  1 decommissioning Magic Bullet Looks from 1.4.3 to 1.4.2 (did not work)

  2 upgrade Magic Bullet Looks to MBL 2.0 of Magic Bullet Suite 11 (did not work)

  3 uninstall my gfx card and re-install with the latest version (didn't work)

  4 reset the AE preferences by pressing alt + shift + ctrl on the shortcut (didn't work)

  5. change H.264 rendering parameters->. AVI (did not work)

  6. I deleted the "AE_OpenGL" of my After Effects file (didn't work)

  The skin file is not that complex, but I don't know if it'll help, but that's it.

  I've never had this problem before and hope someone has a solution to this problem... If so please post a reply. I don't know if its because I put the plug on all of my clips and then made an adjustment with an another Magic Bullet Looks layer or if it's my fault of clips but I don't know what to do.

  It seems that the looks hangs only on this project. If this is the case then it is probably a problem with one of your video clips. Either there is a corrupt frame or some other codec glitch which throw errors. I suggest you replace the elements of film with temporary images. You can even use solids. Replace one at a time, then cancel, until you find the film that causes the crash. Then re - compress this film to another codec or replace it.

  If looks are blocks on all types of images, then you will have to pursue other options that are more linked system.

  I have a 32-bit and I was wondering if Adobe could make a 32-bit version of After Effects. I know that After Effects cs4 work for 32, but I want to most recent.

  AE needs a lot of RAM to work. 32-bit operating systems cannot access more than 4 GB of memory total system. This means that, if you have a tiny GPU has only 512 MB of video memory on this subject and that your computer has 4 GB of RAM installed, your system see about 3.5 GB of RAM.

  AE needs 4 GB of RAM minimum to run (I think 8 GB is the minimum to use actually reasonably).

  It is impossible to make a 32-bit version unless they created a whole new piece of software that could live with less than 4 GB of RAM. And it would go really slowly and nobody likes him. So, as Rick says, you are flat out of luck unless you upgrade. It's pretty cheap (or free) to build a 64-bit operating system, so, you know, you can do it.
