after effects 5.5 will not install not
Master collection CS5.5 installs fine except for after effects, which did not finish install. I tried to wind 8.1 compatibility settings but does not help not. Any ideas? I know after effects 6 will be installed. It seems that my system is not the minimum requirements for meeting with a memory of 8 gb NVIDIA gt 760. How to make it work?
Yes Jeff, the system exceeds the requirements. It will install cs6 trial, but not the cs5.5 licensed version (which I own).

first try to connect and then back to your desktop cc application. If you are unable to install your programs after doing this, stilll follow solution 2 here, CC Office lists the applications as "up to date" when it is not installed.

Hi all
I add a text layer and then add my custom fill effect. Then I call AdvItemSuite1()-> PF_ForceRerender (in_data, & (params [0]-> u.ld)) of the CEAP for all layers. But only for the text layer, AE will appear a dialog box displays the following error message:

Why is this happening? What other call can I use to render all the layers?

text layers is really a source (as opposed to solids which do).
any source operation you will do an a text layer will give an error.
It goes the same for shape layers.

after effects closes on startup, not removable video card
Hi all
Lately, I get this message:
The Nvidia Geforce GT 650 M device is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged.
First of all, I got this message from random and every time I got it I had to force my laptop. At present it shows only upward when you start after effects cc 2015.3.
The after effects and my drivers are up to date. I run windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.
Someone know a solution for this or do you think that it's hardware related?

It is resolved.
I asked the support of asus and they send me updates good driver for intel and nvidia.
Looks like the update via config nvidia didn't so I did a clean install for the Asus support update send me.

You have a version with file mochaAE in this conflict. Run the cleanup tool and start from scratch.

AE CC Mac: After Effects collect Files do not collect files, including the project!
I need to send a customer projects collected, but the file > addictions > command collect the files does not collect some files (once the project has been reduced, so all files in the project are needed), including the project file!
I end up just with a record collected containing a 'Pictures' folder which includes some files and others not. This is a nightmare! There are hundreds of cases that will take days, I don't have to track down each file manually.
Any suggestions?

Running on Mac 10.9.5 CC 2014
I kept getting this error when you try to collect:
After effects WARNING: the file 'filename' could not be found.
So I know this is going crazy, but the problem was the mouse and a Wacom tablet. Whenever I gave him entry when he began to collect mistake like that. Then I tried to put in the wacom pen and clicking on save dialog enter and boom - worked perfectly. Really strange bug - I hope Adobe that address it soon. After Effects or Premiere Pro not available as tests?
I downloaded Adobe Application Manager and it lists 13 programs, but it does not list After Effects or Premiere Pro as options to install. These are the two that I had to try more than anything. Help?
They are available in tests, but your system does not meet the requirements. This is why they are not in the MAA. Refer to the card tech on the product pages.

After Effects CS4 Sniffer_gpu does not work
After Effects worked fine a few minutes ago and then the next time that I started it all of a sudden it gave me this message that sniffer_gpu had ceased to function.
