• QuickTime export error: "an output module has stopped responding."

  I feel an odd export error when I use the Quicktime codecs:

  "After effects error: an output module is not responding." The file may be damaged or corrupted. You may need to restart After Effects. »

  Similarly, Adobe Media Encoder crashes when Quicktime codecs. No program does any progress at all before the blocking does not happen. At this point, I have to manually "end task" to exit. In addition, it seems not to matter of what I'm trying to export. For example, in the SOUL, I can just try to convert one video format to another and do hang, so I don't think that the problem is due to a problem with the settings of the source or the effects. Also, I'm not all multiprocessing since I did not really enough RAM for it. Other work of output modules, so I export only image sequences for now.

  I'm having a problem with AE CS5. Whenever I try to make a video, it hangs on the first image and does not provide for as long as I selected audio. If I deselect the audio option in the output settings, then the video without hesitation. Audio works in the RAM Preview, however. I tried to export to AVI, WMV... no luck. Finally the error 'an output module no longer"appears.

  I am running Win 7, i7-820QM, 8 GB memory DDR3. I don't think that it is a hardware problem, but I don't really know the source of this problem either.

  If all goes well, there is an easy solution for this.

  Hey guys,.

  I was able to solve this problem. I'm not sure where the conflict is / was, somewhere, but here's what worked: I have created a different user account and shot to the top of AE. For some reason, the audio output module works perfectly on this account, and the audio preview RAM working more regularly on this account also. I do not uninstall any software or codecs suspicious right there. I'm not running that much more on my main account in relation to the other - can - be an antivirus or something similar - buy Hey, I'll take the same unexpected happy result. Thanks again.

  Is there a script method to see if a module of rendered elements output renders a seq image or to a single file such as QT or AVI?  (I prefer not to have to lean on the extension).

  What I realized is that After Effects doesn't like my AVCHD files I receive from my camera. (They are a h.264 and m2ts file type MP4)

  The problem is that I get "echos" or jump when I give something back in After Effects or return with Media Encoder via links dynamics and Premiere Pro CS4.

  I'm not familiar with is types of files that a lot of you who are more expereinced that I use for After Effects when you must convert to a lossless format (or as close as you can get to be "Lossless".

  I was wondering if someone could recommend the types of files should I be convert and if you have a good method to convert. Not that I want people to discuss other software here, but if you use not Adobe programs to convert, so what types of files you convert to?

  In other words, where do recommend you I begin reading or research on this because a large number of companies sell conversion programs. I currently have one I paid for, but it does not work I need to do to the HD. I want to keep as close as possible HD quality.

  FYI, usually, I'll do the video with green screen effects in After Effects. My output is video. If you have any other questions about my process, then feel free to ask me questions. Other than that, have I appreicate any advice.

  Yes, of course, there are better days for QT and recent versions are UM pretty - ho (Apple simply does not know how to make good software PC, if you ask me), but at least it offers a few options widely accepted codecs, which is somewhat important not only for your own reading, but at the latest when you need to share with other artists. AVI Windows own offerings are severely limited in this regard, literally leaving only uncompressed or ELA MS for intermediate workflows.   Hi there, I have a problem with the custom output Module Templates and my cluster:

  After Effects CC 12.0.0.404 (also showing up-to-date cloud Creative)

  Mac OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion last version)

  Mac Pro 2.93 GHz, Radeon 5870 8-Core, 32 GB RAM and with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 3D +.

  Remote Machines (there are four) are Mac Pros (Quad-core, running 10.7.2 with 16 GB of RAM), by using the ae_render_only_node.txt file in their folder of user Documents.

  The exact error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  I try to get a cluster working with After Effects CC (see exact version above). Unfortunately, I need custom output modules, and I can't seem to get the slaves made to recognize. I found older sons on this particular issue, but no solution has been found.

  I use commandline aerender in OS X terminal to start a render with a basic test scene.

  To simplify things, I tried to test this on a single machine, rendering both slave... Same result everywhere.

  Here is what I tried:

  I have exported a file of .aom of my main machine (where I have my desired custom output Modules) and attempted to bring on the slaves of rendering. However, because the slaves of rendering are return only, (they ae_render_only_node.txt in their Documents folder), the ability to import Modules output is disabled in After Effects (it opens as the rendering engine of the effects after and modify > Templates menu is grayed out).

  Then, I thought I would try to copy the main machine (user) /Users/ / Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0 folder to render slaves, thinking that would get any other file in preference to them to define the output modules. No luck. Launched After Effects (which loads as renderer after effects) and reset my preferences to disk cache (so they were not always of the main machine). Tried again aerender... no luck. Same error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  After that, I thought it would be a good idea to log out of Adobe Creative cloud on the main machine and try connecting the machine slave made with my UserID and password and temporarily remove the ae_render_only_node.txt file. Then I would import the .aom file in the full version of the AE... I tried this and success! The work of renders... they find the output without problem Modules. Only it is, as soon as I log out and switch between using the ae_render_only_node.txt file, the output Modules are not found. Don't know what's going on--if the output Modules are currently disabled by the ae_render_only_node.txt file? Or maybe signature out of my Adobe ID is to remove preferences that determine the output Modules? Don't know where the output Module preferences are stored to be able to tell.

  Next attempt: I thought that I would try my preferences with creative cloud sync. I made sure to check synchronization preferences after effects to ensure that the output Modules are configured to synchronize. I did a sync where I transferred my preferences of the main machine. Then, on the slaves of rendering, I ran synchronization preferences and chose to download preferences. Works when connected, but not when it is used as a single render node. When it comes to a single node returned, he even invites me to download synchronization preferences and exit the Application, which I do, but nothing seems to happen. I retry aerender and still the same error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  I can't seem to find any info on where the output Modules are actually stored (apparently they are not anywhere in the user/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects / folder?).   . I started a project of type kenitic with CS6 and have now I just CC and try to complete the project with the CS of cloud.   I have imported my mp3 file and brought my text layers.  But when I try to hear the sound, I get nothing.  I tried the ram preview... nothing.  I tried the (.) on the numeric keypad as well as using Shift / and the displacement of the scrubber.  Still nothing.   I have the original mp3 file on my desk and can hear it very well from there.  There is no interactivity with the audio Panel... She is dull kind of worms down.   Anyone have any ideas?

  MP3 files are not suitable for production activities.  Convert your MP3 into an uncompressed WAV or AIF file and import it back.

  In addition, check after Audio effects / physical preferences and correspondence of Audio output, to ensure that your output audio standards are used.

For some reason, I can't get updated driver from HP Web site directly and not AMD (which, on a side note, is a bit confusing to me know why). After seeing how many updates are available for my computer (here), I decided to update many of them. Here is a list of the updates I have downloaded and installed.

I tried system restore several times, but my computer could not be restored to several dates I've tried. If I do not solve the problem today, tomorrow morning I'll try an advanced recovery method. I have a Windows 7-64 bits of the operating system at the same time, graphics cards Intel and Nividea. I had this same problem several times since I got the computer (Dell). Dell has replaced some hardware. Previously, he was my Western Digital external hard drive software that caused the problem.   You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

  But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.
