After formatting and reloading windows XP I have nothing in my network connections
I have formatted and reloaded Windows XP. I have a connection high speed, but when I went to set up my connection there is nothing in network connections.
You may need to install the drivers for the network card in the computer. Check in Device Manager and see if the network card is installed correctly. It may appear as an unknown device.

My hard drive has been corrupted and I had to format and reload windows 7. It worked OK for 6 weeks, but now says it is a counterfeit copy. I used the original product key, when I rebooted it. Ideas?
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )Once downloaded, run the tool.Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message. -

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem... is back with an error number error code: 0x8024400A... but my internet connection is fine...
Hello
Install SP3 by downloading and running from...
http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=24
You can ignore the text that says it's for network installations and also ignore the text advising windows/microsoft update if a single update of a PC.
This should move your 0x8024400A problem. So try and get up-to-date with the Windows updates. You have to go through Genuine Windows Validation.

Yesterday, I bought a home Permium windows 7 3 reviews software. Material of my computer is flaky and I reinstall windows once a month. If I activate windows after formatting and reinstalling the OS, will be consumed my activation of licenses?
Given that your hardware has a unique identifier captured by the activation process, you should not consume additional licenses whenever you reinstall. Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com

Stop after button problems reloading Windows
I had to format and reload my windows XP after a crash. Finally, everything is OK except that when I want to stop I'll start it up buttons and instead to get the three options in form of button, I get a box with a menu drop-down offering three options. How can I go back to normal three buttons to the closure or the day before? Also when I chose the eve I now can't move the mouse or any key to start again but have to press the power button on the tower. Once again how I go back to how it was? Thank youTry it and see, it is pretty easy to change back if things don't work for your taste! If you find that it stops at the home screen, turn on AutoLogon, to:
Type control userpasswords2 in the Start menu Run box end, remove the check mark in the "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

Format and reinstall Windows 10 - Dell XPS 13 9343
Hello
I have a Dell XPS 13 9343 provided with windows 8.1 and I have upgraded to windows 10.I would like to format and do a clean install of windows 10 and after that to create a dual boot with ubuntu.I don't want to retrieve anything, just in any format. My question is:1. What is the best way to do it? Is there a preparation necessary before formatting (except backup)? If anyone can point me to a relevant detailed guide, it will be great.2. do I need to care that I want to install ubuntu in dual boot, when I format and install windows? Or just to install after windows is already installed?Thank you.10 Windows will recreate all the partitions it needs. If you want to save your old settings factory Dell backup and restore use to make a bootable USB:

HP Pavilion dm1 Notebook: after formatting drive HARD Windows Activation failed
My laptop (HP Pavilion dm1z-3000) comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. My system was full of junk it was not usable. I tried to use the feature of HP recovery, several times but it still fails. So I decided to format and reinstall Windows.
I got a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit OEM I bought for a desktop computer. Before formatting, I used a software key finder to get the Windows key from the original Windows 7 installed on my laptop, so I could use it to validate the other copy of Windows 7, but I found that I get an error 0xC004F063 code, the computer BIOS missing licence reqd
Help, please.

Well, this would mean that you have to order the official HP recovery media to restore factory.

Formatting and reinstalling Windows without the recovery CD
I don't have access to my recovery cd as I am currently overseas and I am trying to format and reinstall windows. What would be the best way to do this? The recovery CD is totally part of reinstalling windows?
I don't want to just do the reinstall and find that I have no screen etc.
Hello
Well, if you have no recovery CD, you can install the Windows operating system from the original CD of Microsoft Windows. Then you can try to download all the required drivers will Toshiba from the Toshiba download page.
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jspBut beware: you must update the drivers in the correct order. The drivers are placed in the right order, and it is very important for the new facility.
Good bye

No one knows what buttons to press so I can format and reinstall windows xp from scratch?
Hi all.
Hi all. No one knows what buttons to press so that I can format and reinstall windows xp from scratch on my lap top compaq pentium 4 from a CD-ROM.
Thank you.

Hello
In your other thread, you said that your XP CD is damaged.
The manufacturer normally gives you one way or the other to reinstall; not both.
If you had a recovery partition, this is the information:
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?CC=au&LC=en&docName=bph07145#N296
- Turn on the computer.
- Just after the first screen display (the display of the logo), press the F10 key repeatedly until a recovery menu appears.
- etc.
See you soon.

Need help with the formatting and reinstalling windows
Hi, I have a Compaq Presario C700 p/n GR598EA #ABU I got to work about 3 years ago.
Recently, it does not load windows, even in safe mode and I can't get back either.
I used a disc to boot from linux to access and backup of all my important files and now I want to reformat the hard drive, resintall windows and start over (or try something else which will fix it)
The laptop has been pre-installed with Windows Vista and HP stuff had already installed on it. I don't have a Windows disc or discs of driver with the laptop.
How can I format and reinstall windows and drivers, if I don't have records?
Help, please.
Thank you.
Hello:
You can order a Vista recovery disk set for your laptop if they are still available. See the instructions below:
http://support.HP.com/US-en/document/c00810334=
If you live not in the US or the Canada, you can contact HP Support worldwide for the country you live and ask recovery disks command to your laptop

Is there a way to download windows 7 to format and reinstall windows 7?
Original title: a need to reinstall windows 7
is not a recovery media, my installation a lot of scratch DVD, is there a way to download windows 7 to format and reinstall windows 7?
If Microsoft said that he is not a retail license, you can not download from here.
If it is refurbished there is no recovery partition.
If it came with Vista and now Windows 7, Vista must be reinstalled and then upgraded to Windows 7.
If the name of the Reconditioners is about it, to contact them.
See you soon.
