After sysytem restored in windows 7 Home Edition, laptop can't connect to the internet.

Personal salvation of support
I have a lenovo laptop with windows 7 Home Edition on it, whenever I have a system restore I have following problem with network connection.

  • WiFi: the problem with the Wi - Fi connection is it says it has limited connection to the internet, the system receives a valid ip address of modem/router (DHCP). But system is unable to ping the address of the router (gateway address), similarly it cannot ping localhost or 127.0.0.1. It says general failure. Then I try to give the IP address manually on the wireless card, but I have the same problems
  • Wired: when I turn off the wireless connection and want to connect to the laptop via a network cable to the router I have the same problem, it cannot ping the localhost or 127.0.0.1.

I tried the following, but it didn't work.

  • ipconfig enough and ipconfig/renew
  • Flushing the DNS system
  • netsh winsock reset all.
  • netsh int ip reset all.

I saw several online forums, but couldn't find the solution to this problem, the only solution is to restore the system to factory setting, and then it works. Wired and wireless network works fine

What is the solution to this problem, this is not an appropriate solution, is it a windows M S for this solution.

Your help is highly appreciated

Thank you

Tahir

Hello

Open network and sharing Center, click on your wireless network connection.
Click Properties, double-click Internet Version 4 Protocol.
Select obtain an IP automatically, and select obtain dns server address automatically.
check if it works
method 2:
This is perhaps a problem with your wifi driver.

Open Control Panel, click hardware and sound. under devices and printers, click Device Manager. Expand network adapters and then double-click your network adapter. go to the driver tab and then click on set to update driver (leave the pc it automatically searches). Once he did try if everything has worked.
see this page for more information:
I hope that helps!

    Hi all

After cleanind my registry with Wise Registry Cleaner, I can not connect to the internet. Network LAN and wireless do not work. Windows 7 has diagnosed the problem and says the following:

Similar to Wireless adapt. The problem is probably not the antivirus program, since I have only deinstaled and the problem persists. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, but no solution again. I can't do a system restore point before cleaning the registry, because Windows could not find a file that is needed for the restore. I restored again since before saved registry cleaning but no help.

Any other ideas please. This really seems teribble :(

    Hello

When parasites get installed on your computer, they might create hooks in the system computer activities related to the program "Junk" files  When you get rid of the 'Junk' hooks could remain in the system, in the absence of target files (they cleaned) problems are created in the network and Internet related activities.

If after uninstalling the "Junk", the Internet connection does not work as it should, you will need to restart the operating system parts which get trashed by the process.

    WinSock and TCP/IP update.

Type Cmd in the search text box.

Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a command as administrator prompt.  Allow the elevation.

Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt and press the Enter key.

The same processes to refresh the TCP/IP replaces the command typed with.

netsh int ip reset press enter

    ipconfig/flushdns, press enter

    Restart your computer.

  • I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart

I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart it.

I use windows xp on my host computer and all computers in my client. After that I uninstalled the free trial NIS version and restart my host, I lost the internet connection. Tried to restore with the restoration of the system, but when I restarted it, it said the system restore could not be made. I changed it then with my laptop and I can connect to the internet as the host.

    Hello

This can happen if the uninstall process fails and leaves behind a Symantec registry value. See the following Symantec article.

Unable to connect to the Internet after uninstalling Norton AntiVirus.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/NAV.nsf/8d071816eedd7cac88256c0e005a96e5/751c3298ab99cf7188256d34006702e2?OpenDocument

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • When I reinstall windows from my dell disk, everything is great and there are no programs. Also, I can't connect to the Internet.

Good so I bought a Dell Inspiron of the 620 years for the game and I had to reinstall Windows 7 on a drive I ordered from dell. So I reinstalled Windows 7 and now I have a lot of problems. So first of all it seems very strange, the taskbar is not transparent and all the buttons are very weird. Also, there are no programs in the start menu. Secondly, it is said there is no Internet connection available, but I plugged in everything. I can also connect to the Internet on other PCs as my laptop. Any help is necessary, because I really want to return to the game. :)

    Hello

When you reinstall the operating system, you must obtain the latest drivers for Windows 7 Support of Dell.

Go to this link for your model, and then select the operating system > and then select the correct chart, drivers etc. :

    http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/product/Inspiron-620s

For network adapter drivers, you can use the computer you are about to post here to go to the link above of Dell > download and save the software drivers for the office > transfer using a Flash drive and install it on the problem machine.

Then use your game machine to get the rest.

And here's how to reinstall using a disc from Dell:

    http://www.Dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=&l=&s=&docid=266457

    You will need

    • Dell operating system installation disc
    • Dell Resource CD/DVD (also available on the page Dell drivers and downloads )
    • Any software and/or the documentation of your connection to the internet service
    • Any application install disks

The network port is the port on the laptop (it is not that large - look around) that looks like a large phone connection.

This is not a configuration supported for Windows 7 running. Windows 7 must be installed on an internal storage device. This is probably why Windows 7 SP1 fails.

  • I installed Windows XP Home Edition. Can not find the wireless network drive

I installed Windows XP Home Edition on my spare PC.  Now I have wireless network card in the computer and problems to find the drivers for it, and I don't know what brand it is, so I know it's kind of makes it harder too.  Then I also have to start the computer, but if I press F1, the computer starts well

I was just wondering how can I get rid of this?

Disable all devices that can connect to your router (wired or wireless)...

    • PCs
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Smartphones
    • Smart TV
    • Printers
    • Networked storage
    • Another thing that I have not mentioned above!

Put on your router and wait for the normal light distribution. Then turn on all devices.

I hope that your ip address conflict went away. Generally ip conflicts can happen when the router is running again without doing the same with all devices later.

If you have even an ip address conflict, it is possible that you forgot something above or can someone use your router without your knowledge.

Your router's wireless network is secure? Ideally with WPA2 encryption?

  • Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) include SP1 is the Virtual Machine for Java (MSJVM) installed on this and future Service Packs Microsoft remove it?

While the installation of Microsoft DirectX 9.0 c on my Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) operating system (not sure if the 2002 version in it's original state included SP1), EULA (EULA) provided the contract included a paragraph stating that "ONLY in regards to THE VIRTUAL MACHINE MICROSOFT FOR JAVA, YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED to INSTALL THIS OS COMPONENT ON A MACHINE THAT CONTAINS A ALREADY the VERSION OF THE MICROSOFT JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE". Assuming that the MSJVM was included with Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002), I advanced and accepted the EULA. I then downloaded and installed Windows XP SP2 and SP3, but wasn't sure whether SP2 and SP3 removed the MSJVM in any point. However, research on the question, I discovered the site "FAQ of Transition MSJVM" (updated May 7, 2004), who answered the question: ' if I install Windows XP SP1a or later, it will remove my current MSJVM? " with "No, the operating system upgrade will not remove a MSJVM existing on the computer" (http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/interoperability/java/faq.aspx). However, I can't find any instance of it on my computer.

    So my questions are:

    1. Windows XP Home (Version 2002) Edition include SP1?
    2. The MSJVM is installed on this version?
    3. SP2 or SP3 removes the MSJVM in any point to?
