  You receive this error 0xC004E003 when the Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed on your computer.   Try activating windows 8 pro after buying the upgrade through MS online.  Initially it was working fine, then I was invited to return my today activation code that I did, now it will not activate.  What's weird is, if I go to the system properties, it is said not activated, I click to view details, and then it tells me that it is enabled.
