  Here's the scenario:
  
  1 oracle DB binary: 11.2.0.2.2
  2 using the dbca to create general database of goal and then change the "11.2.0.0.0 to 10.2.0.3.0 COMPATIBLE" initialization parameter in the window "all initialization parameters.
  
  So, when I finally start to install the database, I am getting following error when installing:
  
  ORA-00201: control version of the 11.2.0.0.0 file that is incompatible with ORACLE version 10.2.0.3.0
  ORA-00202: control file: ' / u01/app/oracle/cfgtoollogs/dbca/infpp1/tempControl.clt'
  
  IGNORE OR ABANDON...
  
  Now, you might ask why I do this. In fact, I want to install fresh 11grel2. database with the less compatible parameter. Custom schemas IMPORT DP in the development of this that compatible database is set to 10.2.0.3.0. Then run database with these settings for a week and finally change the compatible parameter to 11.2.0.0.0
  
  Any ideas where I'm wrong? as the default value model seems not to accept what I want to do.

• X 1 carbon (3443CTO) startup white screen and no activity after the ACHI BIOS compatibility

  I have a X 1 3443CTO of carbon and it works well.

  Last night, everything was ok and I went into the BIOS and changed compatibility AHCI (don't ask me why, I was doing some tests), then I went "exit and save changes" (on the last page of the BIOS). As soon as I press the screen freezes y enter (as opposed to restart)

  Because that's where I hold the power button and it stop.

  Then I turn it on again, but now, here's the problem:

  (1) the computer turns on, keyboard backlight flash on a second (normal)

  (2) screen remains blank (no, it isn't the defective backlight)

  (3) power light starts up (normal)

  (4) no sign of activities no button, no beep

  I don't know what the problem is, but he believes it is due to the BIOS setting I did that caused the problem. Someone please help me solve this problem (urgent)?

  I'm under CF9 standard on a production environment. We had a disk crash this week and had to rebuild our server backup has been altered as well.

  I installed IIS and CF 9 and have a problem with the truncated strung query.

  These are short strings that were working before the crash

  It is initially mistakes as cold fusion pages are looking for values are not being provided to the pages.

  Here is an example of a URL that is truncated in the IIS log:

  164666 = redirectionNom - events.html &

  the correct url is redirectionNom = 164666 - events.html & id2 = 23456

  Note the ampersand when other data is added to the url.

  I have validated that it's the question of dumping on the values of the url and the CGI variables and compares it with the url in the address bar. We certainly lose things out of our URL.

  Is not very long query strings, so filtering applications should not stop them, and we do not get the expected 404 error, we would get if it was a problem of filtering application.

  I understand that there is a new feature added to the CF security limit the query string to 100 parameters.

  I do not think that this new feature we the problem. I've been programming CF from CF 3.0 and have never had a problem like this

  So I fgured it from the trace. I had reviewed and compared the httpd.conf for ISAPI_REWRITE files but obviously this made while I was asleep. There was a ruke missing in the record of production where the screw to the top. Thanks for all your help!

  It is a forum for peer volunteers. There is no "urgent" here. For "urgent", you open a sev-1 SR with Oracle's Support.

  That said, what I would do at this point is to create a your spfile init.ora file, and then edit this file init.ora to set the compatible parameter to where it should be, create a file the init.ora spfile and restart db.

  Assuming your sid is "geooap":

  copy spfilegeooap.ora spfilegeooap.save
  set ORACLE_SID=geooapp
  sqlplus /nolog
  create pfile='initgeooap.ora' from spfile;
  exit
  notepad initgeooap.ora  << fix the parameter
  sqlplus /nolog
  create spfile from pfile='initgeooap.ora';
  startup

  Here, I have little doubt. What is the difference between compatible.rdbms and the compatible parameter database.

  We have a 2 node RAC on solaris. When I checked at the ASM instance level I found compatible.rdbms has the value 10.1.0.0.0 and compatible.asm 11.2.0.0.0 and compatible database is set to 11.2.0.0.0.

  Please guide me it will make a difference. Or I have to change the compatible.rdbms to a higher value.

  When compatible.rdbms is set to 10.1.0.0.0, this means that the instance ASM (version 11.2.0.0.0) is compatible to support lower versions of instances of RDBMS from version oracle 10.1.0.0.0.

  If you don't want the ASM instance in support of the lower courts of RDBMS version, you can change the setting.

• CAN the c series modules and drivers XNET and Ethernet expansion chassis cRIO compatibility issues

  Hello

  I encountered a problem with my current setup which was not picked up by the tool advise cRIO or by the engineer of applications OR that we used to check our configuration before starting the project.  It turns out that the NI 9853 CAN modules require a XNET driver that is not compatible with the NI 9149 expansion chassis.

  We currently have a system with a cRIO NI 9068 with general IO and some CAN controller and CAN open modules in a carrycot and an Ethernet NI9149 with more general IO expansion chassis and more CAN and CAN open an another pod remote modules and all of this should work under water, so I can not move the modules of the expansion chassis to the chassis controller without a lot of overhaul of the system and equip and a team of angry engineers and technicians.

  I have developed the FPGA code for the 9068 OR and have CAN and CAN open networks works with happiness.  Then I tried to copy the same FPGA code on the expansion chassis and it compiles, but when I try to launch it I get the error-63184 code.  After long calls OR support, and tries to install the missing drivers on the expansion chassis, we discovered that XNET is not compatible with this chassis.

  Can anyone suggest the best course of action?  Is there an expansion chassis Ethernet that will support XNET?  I have here no information online about this compatibility issue that I can't find?

  I'll be communication with DIRECTLY, but from previous experience of the "odd" questions, I know the community often hold the key.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

  It's official.  CAN open modules are not compatible with the expansion chassis.  I have them moved to RIO and will get the upgraded pods.
