After uninstalling my microphone, I can't install it again.

Hi, I do not know if it was still the right place to ask this question, or if it is still relevant, but I really need help.

I had problems with my internal mic to communicate with my friends on a social site the other day, so I thought it would be wise to find then uninstall it then reinstall it. After that I found it in the folder "Sound recorder" I uninstalled it, but when I did he disappeared completely. Whenever I go back to the Sound Recorder section, it says 'an audio device is not found'... then it takes me to the 'Sound' section and the recording tab is empty (if it wasn't before). Anyone know where to find it and reinstall again? It would be really useful, thanks!

Hi Roger,

Check if you can activate the Microphone, you can perform the following task:

a. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

b. click sound, and then a new window will open.

(c) in the new windows, click on the 'Registration' tab and right click the winodw then click disabled devices show.

d now check if the Microphone is listed there and right-click on it and choose activate.

e. once that you select it, right click on it once the driver under Properties option Update.

You can also refer to the computer manufacturer's website to update the latest drivers for audio devices and check.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

Hope this information is useful.
