Your graphics driver is perhaps too old to run Age of Empires III. If you want to update your drivers, contact the manufacturer of your computer for any assistance needed.

System information: 2400 MHz, 512 MB, 64 MB GeForce FX Go5600 (10de vendorID, deviceID 31A)

Can not I play this game?
Or should I just renew a driver?
What about producer?

Hi mohamed

Well, you should has a P4 2.5 GHz processor with 1024 MB of RAM to play this game, but if you want optimal performance of the game, you must use a 3 GHz 1024 MB Ram PC with the graphics card performance.
Also, check if you have installed the latest DirectX tools with the latest graphics driver. In addition it s advisable to check for some patches for this game.

  • I have age of empires 3 and I can not start the program.

    Hello

I have age of empires 3 and I can not start the program.
The program is installed, but once the autorun.exe appears (with the icons of the game, uninstall, website, out) I click on play and the game does not just start. My computing needs are fairly good for the game because I used to play the game on the same computer later.

    Thanks for your help

Bink is what plays the scenes cut in many games.

Installation folder of AOE 3 the binkw32.dll should be in games.
If it is then it is may be damaged and reinstall the game normally would set the
    problem.

AutoPatcher.exe - I do not know because I never use auto-patchers with games.
I have always to download the patch and install manually.
However, my game has the RockallDLL.dll file.

I don't really know a good site to lead you to these files.
You can find a binkw32.dll in another game. Try doing a search of
Program Files (x 86) (or another location if you install games to the default locations). If you have the file in another game you can copy into your AOE3
    folder of the master installation.

There was a lot of discussion on these forums about AOE3 so a
search of these forums may find another suggestion.
You can also try the specific AOE3 forums-

  • Age of Empire 1 and 2 do not work on P100-350

I can't run Age Of Empire I or II on a P100-350 under Win XP.
    AOE I works only at 640 x 480.
AOE II does not at all. I get a message about directX has not loaded.

Someone has already experienced this problem?

I have exactly the same problem (on a Satellite P100-6198) with the same games under WinXP Media Center: it is said that DirectDraw is not taken in charge while DirectDraw tests are quite normal... There is obviously a problem. Someone please unlock us because my father-in-law bought a Toshiba too under my guidance and his favorite Albums game is Age of Empires 2, he is VERY FRUSTRATED not being able to play!

  • Games crashing in 64 bit 7 Ultimate causing same problems Age of Empires 3 and Company of heroes

Hello I have recently upgraded to 64-Bit 7 Ultimate and manage with 2 games. The first being Age Of Empires 3 the second being Company of heroes. The games begin and will be launch to between 2 to 15 minutes then crash to the windows desktop. After the accident and live Explorer mail will constantly crash and the icons in the Explorer and live mail are all divided. I thought it was a card problem G so replaced my GTX 280 oc with a Radeon 5850, but exactly the same problem occurs. The only way to remove the crash is to reset the computer and then everything is fine until I try to play a game and it freezes, then I have to reset again to get rid of the Explorer and live mail crashing?

Bravo for your buddy for help. It seems that everything was linked to my cpu overclocked! I unclocked it and played every game in sucsession with no drama. I then lowered the 200 mhz overclock, and once againg played two games without drama. I have the clock my BE 555 to 3.8 with 4 cores unlocked for over a year and had no probs with XP. It does not seem possible for me it must be a coincidence that when I moved to Win 7 64, like my cpu is no longer this particular serger speed?

  • Windows 7 Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III doesn't fill the entire screen

I just finished the installation of Age of Empires II Age of Kings and the Expansion of the Concqerors on my new PC which has Windows 7.  Not only am I have problems of color with Age of Kings II, both games II and III will not fill my 27-inch (1920 x 1080) monitor.  I set the screen resolution and downloaded the latest driver for my GTX 580 of NVIDEA but nothing seems to work.  How can I solve the problems of color with Age of Kings II and how can I solve the problem with the games only using the central part of my monitor and leaving a lot of black space on both sides.  Y at - it a patch from microsoft for these questions?  If this is not the case, there should be.  Help, please.

This is not a gambling problem. These old games only were not aware that future screen sizes might be greater than 640 x 480, probably 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (high end!). So there not in the set of options to set the display in today HD resolution. This adjustment can now be done by the video card driver that must be able "to scale", or you will enjoy with the size of the screen not interpolated, original (on a screen 1920 x 1080, which will only be part of your actual screen). I do not have an NVIDIA card, on my AMD card, 'scaling' option is an Advanced Catalyst Control Center setting, there should be something similar in the controls of your card.

    adid4s,
Go to start > computer (right click) > properties it will have a section with the name of the computer and domain.  Basically, if this PC was in a corporate environment this is probably on a domain.

Create a new admin user account, and then try to run the program.  Also to boot your pc and see if that helps.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem, or tell Ensemble Studios to make a patch to correct this _?

  • Satellite A200 start Age of Empires

    Hello world

My daughter has a Sat A200 1.8 GHz 3052 available RAM, installed Direct X 10, more older version 9 to run older games. Under Vista Home Premium with an ATI Radeon Graphics Processor 0 chip x 9581 (Mobility Radeon HD) 2600.

I get an error at the launch of Age of Empires II and I have the chart cannot initialize and check the compatibility of card and the video driver with Direct Draw.

I did, Direct sampling is enabled, the ATI driver has been updated, windows also updates and the game still gives me the same message.

Do you have a registry clean after using the game of the demo, which also did not work.

I got this game on two other laptops, a new Compaq and a 12 months, as well as old Acer laptop on my fully equipped acer desktop computer to vista. The only problem I have is with the Compaq laptop screen resolution should be set back to normal after the games, but it works very well. I don't know why the Toshiba Satellite is to give so much trouble.

    Can someone enlighten me? Please...

    Hello

    > the ATI driver has been updated
And what ATI drivers you have installed exactly? Since the site of Toshiba or other drivers?

AFAIK for Age of Empires II are some fixes available. Have you installed them? As far as I know you can download on the Microsoft Web site.

You can also try starting the game in compatibility mode. That's why I choose Windows XP.

  • age of empires 3 installed correctly on windows 7 but doesn't start.

I managed to install the age of empires 3 and age of empires 3: the Asian dynasties under windows 7, he had no installation errors but for some reason when I click to start the game until nothing comes at a time he told me to switch to a theme aero from the computer to a theme of basic computer and I did but it still didn't work I also have it reinstalled a few times

    Hello capo811,

    Step 1:

I suggest that you try to install the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and then follow these steps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

    Step 2:

Access the .exe file for the game and make sure that it is running in Compatibility Mode (Windows XP)

    Step 3:

    Install the Patch 1.14 softwarehttp://www.agecommunity.com/gameUpdates.aspx

If it still does not work, I suggest you run the game in Windows XP mode:

You can install XP mode on your computer if you have professional, Ultimate or Enterprise Windows editions. Here is a link you can follow and which will give you information about this:

  • Age of Empires III icons__

After uninstalling Age of Empires III and the expansion of the warlords are two icons remaining in the GameExplorer Panel. They are in a section called "Unspecified" at the bottom of the Panel. I can't right click to find a file location. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The game was initially installed on 11/28/09, so a system restore would be difficult if not impossible. I have done several searches and deleted everything related to AoE with no luck.

Problem solved. I used "drag & drop" to create a link to the icons in GameExplorer on the desktop. Delete the shortcut on the desktop also removed the icon in the "Not specified" section of the GameExplorer. I also had this problem with an icon to Batman Arkham Assylam demo that was left in GameExplorer. I don't know why it worked, but it did. Thank you.
