  I have already installed a TB user agent on my workstation 'primary': I can create, read, and DELETE messages ON the workstation and the server.
  I want now to install a user of TB on a "secondary" workstation agent, where I can create, read and DELETE messages on the workstation. But I don't want the secondary workstation to delete messages on the server. (In short: I want that the function "delete" ONLY allowed to my primary workstation).
  Is this possible? Where is the switch ON / OFF? (For example, this feature is available on the agent on my WindowsPhone).

  Using Thunderbird on your second workstation - the only option would be to create a Pop email account
  so before you download anything, you must configure the account settings to "leave a copy on the server.

  Tools > account settings > account for Pop mail server settings.

  We currently have ODI 11.1.1.7 development environment on Windows 7 Professional and everything works fine. I am loading the data from SQL server using BCP and other windows controls are used in Interfaces.
  
  I have to prepare my production environment on OEL 6.3 X86_64. I'm afraid that utilities in windows and OS commands will fail on Linux that these commands will be unavailable to the agent that runs on Linux. Someone you suggest architecture that runs on Linux and can also benefit from utility windows. I know that some utilities windows like MSSQL (BCP) is also available for Linux, but all of them we need will be available on Linux.
  
  Second question is that we can connect to our work and the master repository hosted on Linux; and can do the development locally on ODI studio installed on any client windows then why do we need to install the studio on the Linux server?

  Again, you have reason. You can have a single agent specified by interface. In this scenario, you will need to ensure that the two utilities were on the server where the chosen agent is installed. In this case, you may have both the bcp & sqlldr utilities installed on each server and then run the interface this agent. Otherwise if limited by your environment you might break out the flow in the multiple interfaces using the utilities installed on different servers. Of course, this 2nd obtion would have any impact on the performance and it is dependent on your needs if this would be acceptable.

  The reason to be on the server target, is that since ODI creates the C$, I$ and also the target tables. ODI may take some time to read from the Source Server, but once done its will empty into the server target and when the performance will be faster since all other operations, processing will be done on the server side target making the action faster else if the agent is another place that it might have to travel a lot in terms of network resources. So its has suggested to go to the server target for the creation of the Agent.

  I found the solution. Start the PC COMPANION and find REPAIR that will install the UPDATE again (just follow the instructions) I hope that this time will be better. Worked for me and now mobile is allowed. A factory reset only I believe.

  Mystery - I have a Win 7 work company that cannot access a particular action.  I get the following error-"you are not allowed to access \\server\users.  Contact your network administrator to request access.  However, these users can access these files successfully on other computers, and also if I use the fqdn or the IP instead of the "netbios name server", it connects successfully.

  Environment:

  -Workstation and server at the same time in the same AD Windows 2008 r2 domain.

  -All users, admin and non admin, cannot access this share when connecting to this computer only.

  -ACCESS to the other actions on the same server, as well as actions on other servers.

  -The biggest mystery to me - if I type the FQDN, \\server.domain.local\users, it works!  What the?

  I tried:

  -Deletion of the domain and add it again, no improvement.

  -Check Event Viewer, nothing jumps (not red or yellow).

  -Enabled auditing for access to objects on the server, it does not show a failure in the security event log.

  -Turn off the firewall of my computer.

  -UN-share and re - share the directory.

  -Give everyone full control (the fact that it works well with de facto authorities a little full domain name, a candidate little likely, but I have an open mind).

  For anyone wishing to offer their 'help' by asking me to make some sort of workaround as re - install windows or turn off netbios or use only of the full domain name here on out or whatever, please Don ' t bother.  I appreciate your help, but I am quite able to reinstall and I'm not interested unique hacks that affect this otherwise network well managed, I'm looking for a solution that will allow me to save time and is a long-term solution.

  In my view, that a key point here maybe I can connect successfully using \\server.domain.local\users, but not \\server\users.  Someone at - it some thoughts?

  In DNS server of youe, go to the area in question and in the use of select search before Wins wins tab and enter the address of your wins server if you have one. If not, install one.

  EN reports can be found in the file system of the operating system (o/s), but the EMP workspace hierarchy (folders, tree, etc.) are stored in the database of repository Hyperion bi +.

  On the system of operating system files, the reports are stored in RM1 folder under folder "C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\ReportingAnalysis\data\RM1\root".

  The names of the reports placed here are UUID (identifiers of long - not the actual names).

  For example:

  When a report is created with the name 'My report' in Studio Financial Reporting, by connecting to the EMP workspace will be available in the name of financial reports/folder where it was saved.

  Note: The location of the folder of RM1 differs with each facility's operating system.
