  You don't "open" such a download.

  1. try again once, this time select SAVE AS option & save the download on your desktop.

  2. close all open applications, then...

  3. right click on the file that you saved in #1 above (i.e. 395040_intl_x64_zip.exe) and select run as administrator.

  4. If you are again prompted to extract the contents of the file (for example, extract all), do it, but this time to save the extracted files on your desktop, too.

  5. I suspect that you will then find a new folder named possibly 395040_intl_x64 on your desktop. Inside this folder, you should find an executable file (i.e., EXE) or possibly an installation file (i.e., MSI). This is one you use (run as administrator) to install the MS Agent patch.

• OEM 12 c 4 recommended Agent patches by doc - id - 1664074.1

  Hello

  Our OEM is 12 c 4 on linux. Recently, we have applied PSU3. the CMS and the repository. AGent patches remain by doc - 1664074.1.

  It is - 1 > Agent's patch was applied only to the Agent that runs on the Server OEM or it should be applied to all officers on monitoring of targets?  Please provide details? Do I need to install on each target agent controlled?  Please let us know of your experience?

  Any blog detailed for Agent patch will be appreciated.

  patch must be sought in the software library.  Agent software patches are not in the default software are not under the software library, they are about the location of the temporary Stadium on Server OEM. How could I think about them in the GUI OEM?

  If your system is in offline mode, you will need to download the patches to the software library, first.  You will also need the latest version of o6880880 patch version 11.1.x.x (11.1 is very important - not 11.2 or 12,1).   When you download the patches, you will see an option to download the metadata as well.  You must botht he patch and metadata.

  Questions I have now:
  
  1. is this patch should install on DB or APP?
  2. the customer is home both YES, it need to upgrade YES there is 11.1.0.7.0 or a later version? How? Is there a patch number or something?

• Converter Standalone Agent installation failed, error code: 1601

  Hi all

  I downloaded the VMware converter tryware version, to see if we can use this tool to create virtual machines from existing industrial PC.

  We intend to make a test remote backup to a XP to a laptop machine (to keep mobile in an industrial environment)

  I installed you VMware converter and disabled the firewall on both machines.

  I also disabled the network drives that are shared on the remote computer.

  When data powered the remote computer has been entered (ip address, username, PW, BONE family) and press us Next, the pop-up appears to deploy the Agent of Standalone converter.

  If you press 'Yes' to continue, after a minute or two the following message appears:

  -Converter Standalone Agent installation failed, error code: 1601 -.

  Can someone tell me what this error code means and how I can fix this error?

  Windows Installer error 1601 = The Windows Installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support team to verify that the Windows Installer service is properly registered.

  Additionally, make sure that the appropriate ports are open to allow the Windows agent to settle.

  Alternatively, you can manually install the converter on the remote system agent... and then try to restart the conversion (then there is no need to install anything).

• Deeper debugging on the "deployment operation failed on the agent with an error...".

  I tried to deploy a very simple plugin, a couple of settings with Snmp Fetchlet. Nothing complex.

  The preferred credentials you set for the agent where you try deploy it, are the same identifying information for the user who owns this agent install? During the deployment, files that are placed on the agent receive the same permissions and owner as install other files on the agent.

• Updating BIOS for MSI N1996 MS-9613 Indio Motherboard Patch 253 error

  So here's my dilemma:

  I bought a HP e9270T renovated in 2009.  Over time, I upgraded my machine in various ways, a box with a better circulation of air, a new power supply, more RAM, etc.  And now, I tried to update my BIOS of motherboard after a recent installation of SSD.

  Here are the specifications of plant origin and configurable options for your desktop HP Pavilion Elite e9270t CTO and here's the specifications of its card mother MSI MS-7613 (Indio). This is the software HP & Driver Downloads page for your HP e9270t computer. There is no update of the BIOS for your system.

  The reason why you are having problems, install the update to the BIOS, you downloaded it, is because it is one of the several other MS-7613 motherboard which are different. Different motherboards MS-7613 go under the names of Indio, Inverness and Iona. Please note that the BIOS is unique to each of these different Councils.

• Cluster HA agent has an error

  ESX 3.5 - 2 cluster nodes managed by VCenter 2.5

  Works fine until last week when I saw the error displayed on the second node "HA agent on xxx in yyy in zzz cluster has an error.

  I clicked on "Reconfigure for VMware HA" and it worked for about 30 seconds then wrong again.

  The events detailed for this host in VCenter say enough resources when activating then changes to insufficient resources to meet the HA failover the cluster level.

  We have not added all new machines on each host, or if the configuration has changed. Allocation of resources is 0-10% CPU and 20-30% on the single host RAM and RAM of 30-40% on the second host.

  I checked the file vmware_hostname.log on the host problem and is the only thing that seems wrong

  We have tried to disable HA and reactivation, but that has not worked.

  In the DNS and routing, the two hosts associated field, preferred/alternate DNS, research areas, default gateways for the service console and VMKernel (all in lower case too).

  Running out of things to try/check! Any direction would be appreciated.

  First thing we do is to check the following:

  (1) is activated the admission control?

  If the answer is Yes:

  (2) is there a reserve set to any of the virtual machines?

  In the hope of trying to fix a known bug , I ran the patch 801 last week. I immediately tried to launch the patch 802 later, but he failed. I received an error message that the 801 should be installed first.   This is probably the question - the updater needs to write to the registry to indicate the patch reached level.

  And I always answer 'yes '. Are there implications wrong by doing this?

  You can create a link to any executable file through adadmin or manually. However, I would not recommend you ignore the error that the question could be applied to main executable files that are used by the application (for example, if the patch fails to recreate a link to the executable file "f60webmx", you won't be able to connect to the application). Always try to correct the error before you continue with the patch (unless it can benefit).

  Tom,

  I suggest that you stop the patch, (take a backup if possible), apply the workaround and rerun the patch since the beginning. Or, see (Note: 175485.1 - how to apply a Patch 11i when adpatch is already running).

  If you go to 12.0.4, you will need to apply u6394500.drv driver. I think that u4440000.drv is the pilot to upgrade to R12 (12.0) but not 12.0.4

• CalendarAgent / Mail / Calendar Agent El Cap errors

  Getting a LOT of errors in my logs on Mail and CalendarAgent.  El Cap 10.11.5 running (a colleagues machine is on 10.11.4 with the same problem).

  Local running calendar and e-mail exchange.  Also runs e-mail and calendar Gmail accounts.

  tried to delete local and user updates cache files, cleaning some temporary files in ' / var/folders "and using various e-mail clients.  No joy.

  Any thoughts?
