  I use advanced Supply Chain Planning tool in collaboration with Oracle Process Manufacturing for hardware and resources planning. In the process, I made all necessary settings and got the point of the Supply Chain planning process. However, after I start the process, the parent process has triggered a child lots of concurrent requests in the background. And I was stuck with the concurrent running forever requests in the last 8 hours without end. The status is 'normal' and 'running' for all concurrent requests...

  Hi Sandeep,

  Make sure that the concurrent Manager (probably the standard Manager) has enough available to deal with workers in the process. The increase if needed.

  You must have a 64-bit Linux, then download the x 64 version of OEL, reinstall it.
  But don't download Peoplesoft, Peopletools and application software are always the same, regardless of the options you choose on delivery (who are by default of delivery options but does not count for Peoplesoft - results returned are always the same) and are 64-bit compliant only.

  There is an example in (Note: 141118.1 - how to re-edit forms library of files using Adadmin) that you can use. For the modules name, enter the name (instead of otn in the document) and generate the forms for each module separately.

  I launched our Plan of ASIC for a specific organisation and successfully completed. As next steps, I looked into the Workbench for supply / demand and saw recommendations for Requsitions & good work MFG. All recommendations have shown have a "suggested due Date". However, I also expect to see a "suggested Start Date" that I didn't know. In general, I would except the planning tool to calculate dates 'start' and 'achievement' based on time... Or is the "start date" based on the date of release of the "good MFG' by the Workbench?

  Hi Sandeep,

  Suggested start date can be displayed using the files tool: Menu > file > show field: suggested start date.

  We bought the license for the "Oracle Service parts planning" component.

  I know not how to save this component, as it appears under "module of Supply Chain Management when I connect to the application as"sysadmin"and call the License Manager."

  Home-> license component License Manager applications-> expand all-> supply chain planning-> SPARE PARTS planning.

  After that I recorded this component, The questions I have are;

  
  

  (1) how do I know which patch to download and apply in order to install the component?

  (2) is there an easy way to find the required patch?

  We cannot release the orders of workbench IO.

  IO is for safety stock planning, only not for release of planned orders. It is made of a CPSA regime that uses the IO plan as an annex of the application.

  (1) plan without constraint is a type of plan in the advanced Supply Chain Planning (which is like the MRP)
  (2) you must have 100% to the supplier with Rank1 and 100% for supplierB ranked 2.
  (3) Yes - covers will work.
  (4) Yes - you MRP to take full advantage of the sourcing of the rules with 2 providers. You set a plan, enter your sources of supply and demand, execute the plan and workbench allows to release the planned order are suggested by the scheduling engine.

  Please review the below items of knowledge of MOS (support.oracle.com)...

  PeopleSoft 8.8 Supply Chain Planning (FSCM) Guide of Installation and upgrade (Doc ID 700934.1)

  Enterprise PeopleTools 8.49 installation guides (Doc ID 703595.1)

  Enterprise PeopleTools 8.50 (Doc ID 887277.1) installation guides

  In addition to this, I would suggest a few points here - as you mentioned that you're new to PeopleSoft.

  1. to install the full installation program (PeopleSoft FSCM 8.8 the installation program, you must do the compatible PeopleTools.

  2. based on the version of PeopleTools, you plan to go with, you need to get certified versions: database, Web server, Tuxedo.  And also your operating system should also be an operating system that is certified for your version of PeopleTools.

  (NOTE: you can check the MOS Certification tab for all combinations certified).

  3. follow the below facilities one after the other.

  .    i. install the database

  .   II. install Tuxedo

  .  III. install the Web server

  .   IV. install PeopleTools

  .    v. install PeopleSoft FSCM 8.8

  4. go to the Configuration Wizard of databases (DBCA) in the Windows START menu and set up the database (just follow the steps that appear in the DBCA.  And provide the necessary details as GUID, etc.)

  5 run the wizard of Network Configuration (Net CA) in the menu Windows START and configure the CA Net.

  6. search for your OperatingSystem records these SQL Scripts...

  .    i. UTLSPACE.sql--> you need to change the database path to report your exact database in this script and then run the script to the SQL prompt.

  .   II. DBOWNER.sql--> change the details of database administrator (exactly what you mentioned in step 4 above) in this script and run the script at the SQL prompt.

  .  III. EPDDL.sql--> you need to change the database path to report your exact database in this script, and then run the script at the SQL prompt.

  .   IV. PSROLES.sql--> no change required, you can run this script directly at the SQL prompt.

  .    v. PSADMIN.sql--> edit the Admin details according to your requirement and run the Script at the command prompt. (ongoing, you will need to provide the following three values when he is invited allows you to enter values...) SYSADM, SYSADM and PSDEFAULT.

  .   VI. CONNECT.sql--> no change required, you can run this script directly at the SQL prompt.

  7. in the menu Configuration Manager START (menu group of PeopleSoft), provide details

  Type of database:

  Name of the database:

  ID of the operator: ps

  Connect id: people

  connect password: peop1e and save it.

  Save it

  8. I have. In menu START-> menu group PeopleSoft-> Mover.  Provide these values when it prompts for credentials: SYSADM / SYSADM.

  .  II. in the Data Mover, menu file-> Database Setup-> give your details required and when you reach the last screen, run the Data Mover Script (by clicking on the icon of traffic lights on the top of the screen of Data Mover).  It will work for about 3-4 hours.

  .  III. once the script has completed, you must check the logs for errors, if any.

  The log files are...

  .          epengl.log

  .          epengs.log

  .          Encrypt.log

  .          Triggers.log

  .          views.log

  NOTE: at the end of each log file, there must be a confirmation saying... ".... Completed successfully"- without it, you are not supposed to move forward.  If the errors encountered, allow to fix these errors and re run the script from there, through Data Mover utility.

  9. connect you to AppDesigner using credentials VP1/VP1 and the import of sub projects and build one after the other.

  10. run all AppEngines mentioned in the installation guide for PeopleTools at the command prompt.

  11 connection to the SQRW (as SYSADM/SYSADM) tool (with all the indicators mentioned in the installation guide for PeopleTools) and run run the SQR program that is mentioned in the installation at this point guide.

  12 do run the Grant.sql Mover utility, if you face problems with access.

  13 ApplicationServer, Web server and ProcessScheduler server configuration.

  14. now you can connect to the installation of Peoplesoft in multichannel mode (that is, through browser) with the following url:

  http://localhost:80/PS/signon.html

  where ps is your site of PeopleSoft name mentioned in Web deployment server configuration.

  We have installed OBI 11.1.1.7.0 with biapps 7.9.6.4 (vanilla imported metadata and integration work DAC/Informatica) successfully. We are approved for these modules:

  • Purchases and spend analytics Fusion Edition
  • Human resources Analytics Fusion Edition
  • Supply chain and order Analytics Fusion edition management
  • Edition of Fusion financial analytics

  The source system is EBS 12.1.3

  We want to start testing some of the ETLs DAC, but we don't know which ones to choose from a long list of execution plans. Can someone provide links to the documentation or other sources of knowledge that explain that DAC implementation plans correspond to what above Application modules?

  By default execution plans will be there... but you need to create a system of source container, after the creation of container assemble these disciplines and create an implementation plan for each module you have four modules... then create four execution plans and produces parameters and build execution plans and run.   I have a question to all those that have ASICS running successfully in their business, or have been involved in the installation program.
  
  
  We are active in the automotive market and our clients generally bearing orders over a period of 3 months, with exceptions of course to a horizon of 2 years and sometimes even less than a week.
  
  The products have a typical delay between 16 to 22 weeks.
  
  We have customer specific products and standard products sold to many different customers or distributors.
  
  
  We have a lot of major customers giving us orders sales for a period of 3 months, but almost every week, sometimes every day, they update their orders. Means that they change the amounts and dates of application. This product constantly, sometimes even selling lines plan forward and backward in time. Of course, we mean the customers as quickly as possible, if their request can be satisfied, but it's economic intensive. (high effort)
  
  I was wondering if anyone else here is in a similar situation (I think that's very atypical ;)) and how did you arrange this?) How do you react to that in your planning and your business processes system? Do you run daily plans, with the risk that a slight change in demand could cause a total "redesign" of your supply situation? Or anything else that you would recommend?
