Aid Photoshop ignores my background color.

Hello, I am trying to copy the steps in this video to make wooden tiles, but Photoshop seems to ignore my background color. When I get to 0:52 in the video, that's what appears on my screenPS background help.png

as you can see, for some reason any my dark brown background color does not appear in the curves. However, I am able to get this technique drink to work when I open a new file:

Wood Sample.png

Even one of my other layers prevent the background color appears? Thank you for your time.

Yes, transparency made a mess of some filters and in your case, it seems unnecessary to still work this way. You would get much better textures of wood by creating separate documents with variations enough and then drag & dropping them on, then their tilt in place and masking.

  • Change background color?

    Is it possible to change the background color in the preview of the CP,

    right now I have a very light gray background, I want to move to a pure black

    As Sam mentioned, Photoshop supports different background colors to work plans, but the iOS Preview CC app does not.  The backdrop will still look gray in the iOS app.  Support background colors in the iOS app is something that we will consider for a future version.

  • Updated to the new Photoshop CC 2015: work plan and the background are both white I can't see any outline. Will not change when I try to get a different background color.

    This seems almost elementary but I tried everything literally, the only thing I can think is that this is a bug.

    When I'm working on work plans, they are white and the background is white, so I don't quite see the outline. I tried to change the background color to dark gray or any other color, but nothing works. I restarted my computer, the software, everything. Nothing works. It only happens to me, everyone in my company isn't the problem. We checked out the contrast on my computer and it's all good. I had two different designers tinker around with it and they say it must be a bug because they have tried everything they can and I also.

    Now I simply add a grey box dark to my work plans so I can see the sketch, but it's really annoying, I have to do, especially since I work with Photoshop 4 hours per day.

    You must set your GPU options in preferences to something other than "Bacic."

  • How to change the background color in photoshop CS6?

    Hello

    I tried to change the background color of Adobe photoshop cs6
    by default, I was on a black background, canany one help me.

    Thanks in advance

    You can use one of the fill methods to change the background color. (SHIFT + F5 is the fill command) The most common method is to use two shades just below the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Take a look at your keyboard to the right of the SPACEBAR are alt modifier two keys option and ctrl or command photo button left to sample on the left and right as the right nuance. Keep this button pressed and at the same time press the back button back. Your document or selection fill with this color swatch. Double click on each sample will bring up the color picker to choose a different color.

    If there are other objects on top of the background, and they are merged with the background, it will be necessary to select the background using the Selection tool in the toolbar before you fill the background with a color.

    I hope this helps, if not post a picture of your screen, then we can see what you're trying to do, and we can then give more advice.

  • Setting the background color of the default work in Photoshop CC 2015 plan

    So here's the thing, I am aware that right-clicking on a background of work plan will allow you to change its color, but I'm looking for a way to set the default color. I prefer the background color of artboard to a gray color dark, but the default is light gray, so I have to change every time I open a new document. All solutions?

    Well Yes. Currently, it is an enhancement request. A good one, I might add.

    In the meantime, you can probably create a template with the desired background and use for newly created documents.

  • How to fill the entire screen with the background color?

    It doesn't seem like it should be difficult, but of course, it seems to be. I put the background color on themy page, but it only fills half the screen in the Simulator. It's a small page.

    OK, so I went to some styles. I updated the style of the body height: 100%; min-size: 100%. That no longer works. Then I added a

    that enveloped the rest of the content on my page and set the style to the same height: 100%; min-size: 100%. Still nothing.

    What gives? Of course, the Simulator seems all ignore them.

    I use the VS plugin and simulate with the simulator of the storm.

    Thank you

    Bill

    in the onload of the body, you can also do this line of code:

    document.body.style.height = screen.height + 'px';

    Hi Reema,

    Modified your sample application to change the color of the success message.

    This is the change of background color

    Change the Page-> Css-> - Inline. Insert the code below

    #success-message {
        background: none no-repeat scroll 0 0 #99CCFF !important;
    }

    You can replace the color code you want.

    hope this helps you,

  • How do you change the background color of an email header/footer page/set while creating an email template?

    See the topic. Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    Change the background color of the background of the browser:

    In the e-mail or the model, click on the Tools icon. Go the the last before icon (shown highlighted in light blue), and then click the fill color color to evoke the color wheel. Select your color it.

    You can also go to the (last) piece of Page tools icon and enter the background color.

    To change the background of the footer:

    Asset > library > Email Footer > Footer you want to change and use the same principles. You can do this in rich format or you can click on the Src button to switch to the source code and enter your color values here.

    Headers, well that would be everything depends on how you create your header. For me, they are all the graphics then I'd go to my source photoshop file, edit and re-upload a new jpg file.

    Hope this helps

  • Change the background color of the program Committee

    Is it possible to change the background color of the Panel program? I don't see a setting for this in the preferences. At the moment it is a dark gray:

    screenshot_468.png

    I'd like to be able to change it to something like this (this is just a mock-up using a bright color randomly):

    screenshot_468.fw.png

    For example, when I change the scale property or the Position of the motion in the effect controls panel control, and this dark gray background color appears, I would like to be able to clearly identify where the edge of my clip is. Having a color light 'sneak out' would make that easier than now.

    If you click on the key in the program monitor you can set the background of the Photoshop transparency grid instead of black, this will help to reveal when you moved the clip and do not frame address (if that's what you're after):

  • Background color change

    I have photoshop 'play money' files the customer who wants me to change the background color "off-white"... the PSD file has got a ton of subtle creamy tones to it throughout of... Is it possible to replace these "creamy" tones with another broken white color, almost a very light Tan? He got very subtle pixels pixels of color, gray environment background cream otherwise all around the top left & right corners fig leaves, etc. I have attached a pix of the front of the fictitious money.

    Realistic Mat Money 2015.jpg

    not quite sure what you're trying to do, but try to use this transparent PNG. He will need alterations in places. As I can't see the subtle details that you're talking about I can't really tell if it works. Basically, put a layer of background tan colored behind this image to color the background.

  • Why foreground/background colors change when I switch to quick mask? I can't stop this change?

    I click on------, and the foreground/background colors switch. Why? How can I control this behavior of Photoshop?

    It would be simpler for my workflow of Photoshop that I knew what I was using the color.

    Hello

    In quick mask mode Photoshop automatically default gray scale, with a background of black and white, background color color mode. When you use a painting or the tool in quick mask editing mode, keep these principles in mind:

    • With black paint adds to the mask (the Red overlay) and decreases the selected area.
    • Painting with white clears the mask (the Red overlay) and increases the selected area.
    • Gray paint partially added to the mask.

    Thank you
