Air 801

The firmware on the Air 801 is terrible.

How do you connect to private or side Picasa album?

Why are you Kaye to press OK to accept the WiFi connection at startup?

How to configure automatic updates on a Picasa album? Surely, you should not manually copy from Picasa to local memory?

I bought this frame for my parents (non-technical) see our photos. I thought it would automatically update itself to a Picasa album, but seems not really to do.

Yes... I read the manual.

Andrew

Hey Arj,

I try to remain objective, because I really regret having bought an AIR 801...

You can not. That is the information I receive from Toshiba Support Germany.

For all the other things, I would say just that someone at Toshiba did a decent job.
It's a shame that such a device is on the market.

See you soon,.

  • JournE Air 801 not finding Wireless Networks

My 801 Air could see my wireless network when I first turned on. I had trouble getting security WPA2 to work so I reset the default 801 by using the reset on the device.

Now I am unable to find wireless networks.

Any ideas how I can get my 801 on wireless networks?

    Thanks for your help/advice.

    Hello

Are you sure that the Wifi is enabled in the settings of Air 801?
Usually the WiFi icon should be visible in the upper left corner, if the WiFi network has been activated.

I downloaded the manual for Air 801 (European Toshiba page-> support) and download-> user manual. On page 42, you will find all the details on the networks.

You can use the Wifi protected Setup. It is the best way to connect to the network.
-Select Wifi protected setup and press OK
-Press the wps button on your router wlan and press ok to continue
-Press exit to return to the previous page.

Then use the Wifi Wizard to detect and connect to the WLan router in your region.
    -wifi select Assistant
-Press on top and down to select your preferred router
-Press OK to confirm your selection
    -Enter the password router e

You can also use the advanced configuration
To do this, check the user manual!

  • Journe Air 801

    Hello.
I'm a happy user of Air 801. I just have two questions:
    1 Das Air 801 support WPA2?
I found in the documentation (pdf), but for 1000 Air, that 1000 Air supports WPA2, but nothing on Air 801...
    2. What size USB PenDrives Air 801 will support? I tried with OCZ Rally2 16 GB but no results.

    Best regards
    pjfox

    Hello pjfox,

I ve tried USB key with different USB keys and Flash drives support.
Taken Air801 supported up to 16 GB (Corsair Survivor 16 GB) without any problems.

Memory card support: SD *, MMC, MS and MS Pro, xD (* SDHC: supported up to 32 GB)
So, I think, Flash Drives are also supported up to 32 GB, but I couldn t test it.

The other point: Yes, the Air801 supports WPA2.

  • How to get RSS feeds on the Journe Air 801 via the external memory card?

I bought the Journe Air 801 digital photo frame and the manual says 'save the RSS feed of the album that you want to display in the .rss format and add to the external memory card', but he said not how you create this .rss file or copy it to your memory card. Anyone know how I can get a picasa rss in this format?

I've successfully added a picasa feed manually in the framework but as picasa updates only the RSS if new galleries are added, not new photos, the photo feed is not updated on the frame so I would change the rss address.
    Thank you

    Hello palomaroma,

I am also a user of Journe Air 801.
To add RSS feeds, please install the software from the disc attached.
Insert the sd card into the frame. Connect the frame to your computer.
Start the Photo Frame Wizzard. Flow RSS Acount (s) is displayed.
Now you can add RSS feed addresses.

  • Download Toshiba Journe Air 801 Software

    Hello

I need the software for the Toshiba Journe Air 801, because my CD no longer works and I have formatted my pc. I searched all over the Internet, but there is no software downlaod from my device. I Horde can someone help me.

    Hello

I ve checked Toshiba and this device download page is listed, but software is not available. It is perhaps not yet ready for download.

Try contacting the closest service Toshiba. The service provider has access to the database of Toshiba and I m pretty sure they can get it for you.

  • How to connect a Journe Air 801 picframe to a hidden wireless network?

I want to connect my new Journe Air 801 picframe (model PA3701E-1ET2 number) to my WiFi network unencrypted with broadcast SSID disabled (network name is hidden).
    Is this feasible?

I already [read the user guide | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_manuals.jsp |] [Download manuals] up and down and I tried to use the advanced wireless configuration menu but it seems that the device does not provide a way to enter the network name (SSID) and so cannot connect to my wireless network.

I also [rechecked | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp |] Download drivers] if a firmware update is available, but there is none.

I can't believe that such a simple device is missing from the device, but if this is the case, where can I ask a updated firmware updated with the ability to connect to Wi - Fi networks that do not broadcast the SSID?

I searched on the [site Web from Toshiba | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/] but I have not found any e-mail or form to express my disappointment for the good service.

Well, in this case, you will need to make the Wlan SSID visible.
Then, you can connect to the WLan.
After that, you could hide the SSID in the WLan router settings
    Maybe this way is possible

  • Iourne Air 801 - picassa rss feed auto update

I can't air day 801 to update photos to picassa RSS feeds automatically without having to use the menu and manually check the flow of picassa.

When I turn it on and off it is said it is read from the stream, but never gets any new pictures unless I have manually enter the menu system and click the icon of picassa.

I was hoping that he might be able to do this automatically so that I can leave on the desktop and see new pictures that have been added to my account picassa magically!

Have you checked the user's guides document?
These things should be described it.

  • Journe AIR 801 - screen go black

After turning on my Journe 801 and display the splash screen for Toshiba, screen go black.
    Why?

    Hi mate,

I put also t know why this happens, but you can try to remove the AC adapter and leave it disconnected for a few hours or overnight, for example.

If it doesn't work, you should contact your authorized service provider. I think that's all you can do in this case

    Good luck! :)

  • Day 801 Air - RSS Feeds

    Hello

How can I use RSS with the Journe 801 Air Photo Frame?
Not the Picasa or Flickr RSS feed.

    RSS feeds of newspapers, etc..

    Josy

    Is this possible?

I doubt that you can connect to another web service

AFAIK, you can connect on Flickr and Picasa.

Photo frame digital downloads the fotos of all accounts that are turned on.
You can configure max 32 accounts; 16 for 16 for Picasa and Flickr

    Other accounts are not possible.

I'm sorry that you run into problems installing with AIR, but I thank you for your AIR and MSI, including connects!

Microsoft has released a new utility that can help to solve the problems of installation like this.  Would you mind giving it a try and let us know how it works for you?  When you run the patch, go through the uninstall process and trying to remove Adobe AIR on your system.  Once finished, download the latest version of AIR and install again.

Microsoft install and uninstall the fix it

If you're still having problems, I have created a small script that tries to remove past AIR installed on your system.  He has also helped resolve this particular failure.  You can find it at this message.

    Thank you

    Chris

  • Broken space on MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air, I tried to clean below the space bar. I think I broke it because when I put back it together it is incredibly hard to push and I need to move so he could push. How can I fix? I just need to get a new keyboard?

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar in Apple for the service. If you need a Apple Store - find a store - Apple.

  • 2 Air 10 iOS iPad dropping wifi

I have an iPad 2 air in perfect condition, since it first came out. I have the cell phone/Wifi version with Verizon. My problem has been lately, when connected to wifi, the wifi shuts on the iPad many times when using, and more so at rest.

Did somebody encounter this problem since upgrading to iOS 10 It is the only variable that has changed, I'm still using the same networks that I have always used for Wifi.

Follow these steps to find and correct the problem:

    1. you must check your Wi - Fi router: check if other devices can be connected. This will let you know if there is a problem with your Wi - Fi router. You can restart your router and restart the connection to WiFi.

    2. make sure that Wi - Fi on and you can see your network

    3. go to settings on your iPhone > Wi - Fi and check if it is enabled. And if there is a blue check mark next to a network name means that your iPhone or iPad was connected to this network.

    4 restart your iPhone/iPad, router, cable/DSL mode

    5. If this does not help, reset your network. On your iPhone, iPad, got to settings > general > reset > reset network settings. This will reset Wi - Fi networks and passwords, cell parameters and VPN, and APN settings you used before.

    These measures should help.

  • Cannot start new iMovie on iPad Air project

Hi, I need to do a project for my university studies, final evaluation. I'm hoping to use iMovie on my iPad Air, as I have done so successfully in the past.

This week, I'm in iMovie and click the symbol +. Then I click on the option to create a new project or a trailer. But when I click on one of these options, nothing happens. If I click Cancel, nothing happens and the application crashes. I have to then close and reopen the app.

Look at a last projects is not a problem.

Indices received with gratitude. I wonder if it's because I recently upgraded to iOs.

iMovie has been updated for iOS 10. Make sure you have the latest version installed.

  • use of Dropbox on macbook air

I feel a little brain locked with dropbox on my mac air. I was running out of space and cannot say if the 150 GB on my dropbox folder actually takes this amount of room

on my HD, I tried the DB docs and cannot understand it.

of course, it does not take place timm on my iphone even if I can access all the files on my phone.

does anyone know how it works and how I would keep some data too much HD space if she does not take place?

    THANKS FOR ANY HELP

If you put something in your Dropbox storage space, then you can remove it from the computer. If you do not remove it from the computer, then it occupies space on your SSD as well as in your Dropbox storage space.
