    How can I present the captive runtime differently so it does not appear this message? The application is a pure ActionScript application compiled with the binary adt of the stand-alone version of the SDK software (this is not Flex).

    In addition, I am troubled that a captive runtime ping Adobe AIR application somehow. I see occasional pings to an adobe site at launch of the application (something like airdownload2.adobe.com, if I remember correctly). No I do not use service calls in my application at this stage of development, it is very simple and should not be the net ping at all. Why is this happening? I need to disable it too.

    * Problem occurring only on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit specific computer. It's unfortunately the thin client machine so I can't tinker with it.

    SOLVED

    It turns out be a case of user error.

    The client, on the problem machine, has been stealthily in the zip package using some owner zip utilities that they have configured on their machine and double-clicking the exe file it there instead of having unzipped the package and running exe Explorer file. The error message is misleading.

    Obviously this question will be avoided for the retail version after that a Setup program is built.

    Make sure your video file is all characters lowercase and without spaces or punctuation characters.

    Check that your site administrator has set the video as a type of authorized file mime type.

    Link to the file that Captivate HTM publishes and not to the SWF that you did in the above link.

    Make sure that all THE published files have been downloaded successfully to the web site, including the video file.

  • Embedded police does not work on BB10

    Hello

    I am trying to transfer my PlayBook to BB10 application, but I can't make custom fonts to work.

    Here is the code:

    [Embed(source="assets/segoescb.ttf", fontName="Font1", fontStyle="normal", fontWeight= "normal", mimeType="application/x-font", embedAsCFF="false")]
    public static const Myfont:Class;

    //...

    myLabel.text = "Hello World!";
    myLabel.height = 80;
    myLabel.width = 200;

    var myFormat:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    myFormat.font = "Font1";
    myFormat.color = 0x00FF00;
    myFormat.size = 80;

    myLabel.format = myFormat;

    In the app the size and color of TextFormat are applied correctly, but police are not responsible and standard police used instead.

    I checked similar posts here, but there is no answer or the problem is not the same.

    The code seems functional to the AIR APIs, and, it works very well for the PlayBook.

    There are the specifics for BB10 embed fonts?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    I use embedding fonts and have recently brought my apps on BB10. I use Flash Builder 4.6 and the BB10 3.0.0 SDK. I didn't have problems. I pasted some of my code to hopefully help you identify the problem.

    It's my embed code.

    [Embed(source="embedded_assets/fonts/ssm_ldo.ttf", fontFamily="ssm_ldo", unicodeRange = "U+0020-007E", embedAsCFF="false")]
    public static const SSM_LDO_FontClass:Class;

    Here is the code to use.

    var l_text:TextField = new TextField();
    var l_format:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    l_format.font = "ssm_ldo";
    /* Other format properties set here. */

    l_text.embedFonts = true;
    l_text.defaultTextFormat = l_format;
    /* Other field properties set here. */
    l_text.text = a_string;

  • Tag HTMLText FONT does not work

    Hi guys,.

    I'm shooting a question that does not have the tag ARE in my project. Let me describe what I need:

    1. I need to put the different font in a dynamic textfield unique style. For example, the text is: "Welcome, Fred" and I want Fred to be bold and use "Vernada" as his police while others are left in 'Arial '.

    2. I use htmltext and embeded fonts here, strings are loaded from external xml files

    3. I found in the doc help make the tag could do. So I put the embeded "Arial" for the dynamic textfield fonts and add < FONT FACE = "Vernada" > Fred < / DO > in the XML files, but it will not show "Fred" to all the

    4. of course, I added the two "Arial" and 'Vernada' in the library.

    5. the problem is when I change the embeded fonts in "Vernada" for the dynamic textfield and modify the XML as < FONT FACE = "Vernada" SIZE = "25" > Fred < / MAKE >, it works this time. I mean the size of the character changed to 25.

    6. my conclusion is that the police tag only works when its font family of his textfild is like that you want to set.

    Is this correct? I don't think Adobe will design it like that? I missed something?

    I can't say a large part of these screenshots, except that you do the right things.  but because you are using a font Chinese Flash and not in this forum I do not see that your face attribute is the name of the font family.

  • Windows SDK RegGetValue compiles but does not run program

    I'm porting software from another library that I have that uses native Windows. After writing a small test NI CVI 9.0 program, I found that the RegGetValue() function when it is used, translates into a program that does not work (will not yet be debug with an error on files not being is not in the path). Delete this single line and it works where it is supposed to.

    CVI9 programming interface Toolbox has a function to read the registry, but why it will work with the standard Windows SDK? Is it possible that I can get RegGetValue() to work as documented by MSDN in CVI?

    I tried including ADVAPI32. LIB and ADVAPI32_LVRT. LIB and no work (in the folder lib/MSVC)

    It worries me that the WinSDK is not compatible with CVI and I don't know where I can find this information on the compatibility.

    Thank you

    Jason.

    What operating system do you use? According to MSDN, minimum supported OSs are Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x 64. The same paper suggests on Win XP SP2 to use SHRegGetValueinstead. You can also watch RegQueryValueEx statement.

  • Embedded video does not play in the field of browser on os 5.

    Hi all

    I tried to play a video embedded in the field of the Navig. It has worked well in the Simulator. But does not work in the real aircraft. I use 8900. When I open the url in the default browser in 8900 its works perfectly. Y at - it all nedded field of browser settings play audio or the embedded video?

    Am the url is http://devweb.wizzpers.com/chat/seewizzper/wizzperid/30305

    Another problem is the time for video playback in the default browser for the blackberry 8900. When I tried the same thing in android and iphone taking 7-8 seconds to play. But 8900 takes 45 to 60 seconds.

    My code snippet is as shown below

    VerticalFieldManager browserManager = new VerticalFieldManager();

    BrowserField browser = new BrowserField();

    browserManager.add (browser);
    browser.requestContent (url);

    Add (browserManager);

    Any idea about this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sujith.

    I am able to reproduce this problem.  It is caused by a problem with the BrowserField himself.  I don't have a work around for this when using the BrowserField.  You could launch the browser to display the page or play the video directly in your application using the player class.

    Our development team is aware of this problem, which should be resolved in a future version of BlackBerry Device Software.

  • Embedded police does not appear on Android

    I use CS5.5 and you added the following to my class:

    [Embed (source = "C:\\Windows\\fonts\\Kinds_Plain.ttf", fontFamily = "KidsPlain", embedAsCFF = "false")]

    When you enter text in a text field, the runtime positions a control on the object TextField Flash native text entry. Given that the native controls cannot use built-in fonts, the closest the system font is used. On Android (but not iOS), you can use TLF to create a text input control that is designed entirely in Flash and you can use the fonts embedded in the entry. (I don't know if Flex components supports it on mobile, however, could still means to create your own if you use Flex.)
