    Manual

You already have the best processor that can fit on your motherboard which is an AMD version. Theoretically, you can go with a card mother Intel and processor, but that would cost a lot of money (more than a new laptop) and give only slightly better graphics. not yet for the games. To be explicit, the graphics 'card' are not a card, but a single chip directly soldered on the motherboard and cannot be removed, replaced, improved or anything of the sort.

The slightly good news is that you can install up to 8 GB of memory... is the DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM. That will boost the overall performance, but still not make a game by a long shot machine.

AFAIK, you can upgrade to max 1024 MB (2x512MB) memory
You use PC2100 DDR - RAM memory modules.
The memory must be located under the keyboard. Remove the keyboard, to first remove the thin cover above the keyboard and remove the 2 screws that are placed under the thin cover.

But if you don't have any experience you shouldn't t do. In this case, contact the service in your country

The PSU is a good choice.  However, if it were me, I would buy one of their models of series of games.

The video card is questionable.  Is 10.83 "length.  I suggest to make a model of the same size of the card to make sure it fits.  You must add at least one inch for the extra power connectors.

  • My HP Slimline to a decent gaming pc upgrade half, instead of a half an ass.

Alright. So. I was conned into buying this little toy, and I want to know if I can upgrade the Hp Slimline s5310f in a decent computer. Don't tell me to check the part serfer thing Hp. just be straight with me please. Can I upgrade a 400w power supply? or at least to a power supply that can handle a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202002 I really apperciate the help, even if I am angry beyond all being lied about this computer. He can't even play world of Warcraft at a decent rate. It should be illegal for sellers of lying about the capabilities of the machine.

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion Slimline s5310f desktop computer and its card mother M2N68-(Narra6). According to the specification, this model is equipped with an AMD Athlon II X 2 250, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 220 watt power supply, integrated nVidia GeForce 6150SE graphics and a PCIe x 16 graphics card slot.

To make a machine of class in the game, I recommend you to upgrade all of the above components... If possible. The RAM is already maxed out, as the motherboard supports only DIMMs of 2 GB and has only 2 slots. The graphics card you access must fit into the computer and function with a 400 Watt power supply. Please contact AthenaPower.com for possible compatible power supplies. It seems that the Athena Power AP-TFX40 is a compatible replacement for HP p/n 504966-001 (regulated power supply 220 watts, 100V-240VAC ) installed on your computer. Upgrade to a maximum 95 watt TDP Phenom II X 2, X 3 or X 4 with the clock the same or higher speed for an improvement of the overall performance of the system.

The series subwoofer Slimline is very small, it is not really designed for games. Extra heat accumulates in these models when equipped graphics upgrade cards and CPU. You may need to consider to improve air flow by replacing the system with one of the highest CFM fan.

  • Omen of HP: HP OMEN 15 Gaming Notebook upgrade

Hello. I want to ask about the OMEN of HP 15 Playbook.
I understand that the only upgradable in OMEN is the SSD storage. So the question is, can I put 1 TB SSD in HP OMEN? is it compitable or not?

Yes, you can install a module of ISS 1 TB SATA M.2 in there, BUT the access panel is identified with a 'joint' rubber which needs to be removed and will most likely get destroyed in the process, and replacements are impossible to find on the market. I had the 256 GB version of the Omen and I have usually no Ben to open a laptop, but I did not touch the omen because I knew that I could not find the joint for sale anywhere.

  • Have < average PC for games, what I need to to upgrade card MOTHER + processor?

    Data sheet:
    RAM: 6 GB
    GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4200
    PSU: 250W
    MOBO: Foxconn 2AB1 (Socket 604)
    CPU: Amd Athlon II X 2 220 (2.8 GHz)

    Model: p6604f

I would like the decent game, not ultra graphics for battlefield or anything like that. For the most part only a few FPS like Counter Strike: GO, dial functions, of perhaps The Secret world etc.. I would be satisfied to play these games on lowish in the middle.

Others suggested a 500W PSU + and a new GPU 6670. Would be my processor to handle this? If she can't, I need a new one with a new motherboard to go with it (essentially buy a whole new PC)? Also if my CPU can process a GPU 6670, how do you know?

    Hello

You might be happier with the Radeon 6850.  The Corsair CX500 will do the job.  These components would cost about $175.

The Radeon 6670 compared to the Radeon 6850 is available here.

    The 6670 is $ 50 and the 6850 is about $125.

  • HP15 r014tx: recently, I upgraded my 8 GB ram, whenever I play games the screen has changed to green color

Please help me solve the very question that the bios screen slows the blue green screen is a software or a hardware problen or is it all possible means tried ram problem

    karthik2949

If the PC worked OK with the old RAM and you give only a screen green with the new RAM, as banhien suggested, it is more likely incompatible RAM, or maybe faulty RAM.

What you need to do, is remove all the RAM in the computer and then restart with one stick at a time, this will tell you what stick is faulty.

IF the PC starts ONLY with either the old or the new RAM, then the new RAM RAM is incompatible with the old RAM and you can not use them together.

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

  • NB520 - upgrade the BIOS memory RAM

    Hello
I have Toshiba NB520, and I would like to know if it is possible to change to a new 4 GB RAM?
If I replace the 4 GB memory, the computer cannot restart!
do you know why? I try to update the Bios without success.

Yes it is possible. I have NB520-11. After reading many threads here I've done my own experiences.
Using 4 GB RAM on preinstalled original Win7 starter doesn't have any effect because only 2 GB will be usable. I've install my own Win7 32-bit Home Premium and system displays now 4 GB installed and about 3 GB will be usable.

To upgrade I ve used 4 GB of RAM on my Satellite P500. There PA3677U-1M4G part number.

  • Satellite U300 - help hardware upgrade to SSD and RAM

    Hello world
I want to completely upgrade my toshiba satellite U300-140, mount VISTA and default the technical features, posted above.

I need your help to choose the best (and economic) device SSD and RAM slot. It is very important for me to know what is probably compatible with my device. Please, could you help me in your experience?

And... an SSD is worthy, at the speed of my laptop? I was thinking about kingston 120 Gb or 240 GB V300

    http://www.Toshiba.it/discontinued-p...Lite-U300-14O/

According to specification for laptop, you can be upgraded up to 4 GB RAM in order to use 2 x 2 GB of RAM. The compatible RAM modules have PA3513U-1M2G part number.

I think with SSD, you shouldn't have any problems. I updated my old P500 with 250 GB Samsung 840 SSD and it works perfectly.

  • Satellite L10-104 - the upgrade of CPU and RAM

    Hello

does anyone have a Toshiba Satellite L10-104 with more than 1 GB of RAM installed? I'm one of these laptops for upgrade and reinstall the operating system and other software. Toshiba says that it only supports 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) of RAM but Intel says techdocs this Notebpook (i855GM) chipset will support 2 GB RAM Max.

The other question is, is the CPUupgradeable? The laptop has more no guarantee and I am an experienced user and I see no problem to install a new processor in a laptop.

    Thank you

    StefanV3

    Hello

    > someone at - it a Toshiba Satellite L10-104 with more than 1 GB of ram installed? I had one of the theses Npotebooks for upgrade and reinstall the operating system and other software.
    > Toshiba said that it supports only 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) ram Intel techdocs said that this Notebpook (i855GM) chipset will support max 2 GB of ram.

According to the specifications of l 10:

    standard: 256 MB
    maximum extension: 1 024 MB
    technology: DDR RAM

So, I don't think that it can support up to 2 Gb

  • Satellite A500 - upgrade the processor and RAM void my warranty?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A500, and I think to upgrade my processor CPU and RAM. If I open it invalidate or do I need a Toshiba authority to open it? Removes the card RAM will void the warranty?

All I need to know is that can I put RAM and CPU processor without voiding the warranty

    Hey,.

If you upgrade the CPU, you will cancel the warranty because this upgrade is not supported from Toshiba.
In addition, I put t understand why you buy a laptop, and then you think of some hardware upgrades. In your case, I'd rather bought a laptop with faster processor and more RAM.

See also this article from Toshiba:
[Is it possible to upgrade the CPU or GPU of a Toshiba laptop computer? | http://APS2.Toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm]

Finally and above all a RAM upgrade is not a problem. So check your user manual how to do this.
