  Thanks a lot for your help. You're right, I should have said no upgrades and updates.
  There were a total of 10 updates:
  4 a security updates for Vista,
  1 security update for the Microsoft 2010 information access path,
  1 day of cumulative security for IE9.
  1 windows Live essential 2011
  1 definition update Windows Defender (KB915597)
  1 "" for Office 2010 "
  1 April 2013 malware tool
  I uninstalled Windows Live Essentials. I felt that I should not uninstall the updates of security, and the Defender update can not be uninstalled. It made no difference.
  I also checked the graphics card and told me that I had the latest version of the software.
  Then I checked the configuration of the monitor and graphics card configuration and found I could set the configuration to full frame. I did it and now all is well again.

  Since my last update, that is the only thing changed on my computer since it began, my lan port is always on at the start of Vista (Ultimate).   I'm on a laptop that has a LAN on board.  I have not had this problem NEVER before and have owned the laptop for about two years now.    The only thing that has changed on the computer's windows updates.

  I spent the length of a deactivation of the adapter before you turn off the laptop and tried to load a page that is not in the temporary memory, and get the usual page cannot be displayed.  I scanned for virus using AVG and Bell Internet Security scanner online McAfee.   I also ran Windows MSRT and found nothing unusual.   I also checked to see if the BIOS has been changed somehow, and nothing has changed.   Boot to LAN is disabled.   So I can only conclude that I have a virus has not been detected (but have no slowdowns or anything different in the security under gpedit.msc logs), or the more recent Windows Update changed some settings.

  But weak and this is every time I start up the computer from the local network is enabled.   If I let the cable disconnected at startup, it does not reconnect to the modem cable after rehabilitation and I have to disable and then re-enable the LAN to access the internet.

  Please let me know if anyone else has this problem or have heard of this and know a solution.

  Thank you.  Problem solved.  I unplugged my USB devices and the freezing of the Compaq screen went away.  Now, it starts fine.  I've isolated the USB device that was causing the problem... it's the connection of my digital camera.

  I had a lot of problems with Vi-view infecting Firefox recently, but I have deleted successfully. Train removed and reinstalled Firefox. On the re-setup, Firefox works perfectly. However, if I close the program and try to open it, I have a problem. An icon appears in the taskbar and if I go over it, it shows a normal startup of Firefox tab. However, I can't optimize the screen to use the program. If I try to bring it to the top, a small picture will fly to the right of the screen.   As much as I know these upgrades are not taken in charge and it is not as for me that Toshiba offers several different screens for each laptop model. In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service provider in your country and ask if a different view can be used on your machine. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can verify this.

  In general the laptop is as a sort of package of different hardware components. Some of them have the best hardware configuration and cost more than one sort of standard notebooks.

  Until you bought your laptop have you checked specification of the notebook?
